Just came up with a new joke

Instead of selling coffee, he should sell tea. Get it? Pusha Tea 🤣

I came up with that.

What is your favourite beat on a Pusha-T song?

For me, it's a tie between Numbers on the Boards and Nosetalgia. The Games We Play is pretty fucking good too.

MNIMN isn't just Nosetalgia and Numbers On The Boards

MNIMN is Pusha T's most underappreciated project for me, I genuinely don't think there's a skip on this album. The two main criticisms of this album I don't really get:

  1. "Too many features"

Sure, but all of them are pretty good no? The hook singers all hold their own if you ask me. Chris Brown has arguably one of his best features ever, The-Dream has an incredible performance on 40 Acres, Kevin Cossom has a charming and energetic hook for No Regrets, Kelly Rowland is a bit out of place but she sounds nice, Future does really good, and I know some hate it but I think Pharrell does good. All the rapping features are good too. Big Sean is the closest to being bad but it's not that bad, 2 Chainz is hilarious on Who I Am, and Rick Ross, Jeezy, and Ab-Liva kill their roles in their respective songs.

  1. "Pop concessions"

Again, don't see it. Only argument I can get is Let Me Love You, as it doesn't really have a place on the album. But that's honestly made up for by a nice beat and a solid performance by Push. On the other hand, 40 Acres and No Regrets are always credited as these pop-rap songs that are out of place, but I don't see it. 40 Acres has such an empty beat but it works because the song feels like Push is just airing out his entire story, and is one of his best lyrical performances ever. This makes No Regrets a really earned victory lap song that has a fun trap-based Hudson Mohawke beat. Sweet Serenade is probably Push on auto-pilot the most but again I enjoy the beat a lot and I think Chris Brown does well, Push delivers some good bars as per usual too.

As for everything else, I mean yeah it's great, and most people seem to agree. King Push is a great opener with a fun and twitchy beat, NOTB is fucking insane and one of his best songs OAT. Hold On is a nice deep cut with some incredible lyrics, Suicide has this insane beat that Push does great over (don't get some of the hate for this one), Who I Am isn't great but the beat is awesome. Nosetalgia is obviously a classic, Pain is an insanely underrated banger, and S.N.I.T.C.H closes out the tracklist nicely with some great storytelling.

Is the album perfect? No, it does sound dated in some areas and some songs are better than others, but I genuinely think this album is much more consistent than most give it credit for. Push did a great job at balancing the insane lyrical songs, with some trap bangers, and even some out-of-left-field songs.

Video editor

Does anyone know the person that films and edits for pusha t? Looking at his videos on Instagram, it has a similar style, so I think it's the same person doing it. Does anyone have a clue who's behind it?

These 2 videos have to be done by the same person or team

Pusha T representing Clipse in Piece by Piece

Since seeing the movie I wonder why Malice wasn’t involved. Like why didn’t he at least sign off on his likeness just to appear in the movie. We all know Grindin and All Eyes On Me aren’t Pusha T solo songs but the movie makes it seem as such.

Now I have my own conspiracies like maybe Malice is Team Chad in the “Neptunes Divorce” which is why he didn’t sign off on his likeness. Just like how they featured Milkshake but not Kelis. OR he just missed the deadline. OR maybe he didn’t want all eyes on him (pun intended). From meeting both of them Malice is the more down to earth guy and is only in the limelight now when he absolutely has to be. I joke that he’s like Clark Kent/Superman. When he has his glasses on and just around town he’s Gene but when he takes them off and puts on all the flashy rapper stuff and performing he’s Malice.

But if anyone has the team let me know. I would have loved to see him in it.

I read at the beginning of this year that Pusher T had a tape coming with DJ Drama, is there any update on this or has it been released already? Thanks for any information.
