Does anyone know where i can find the Killzone manga?
So I went to a retro game store and I got the first killzone game on ps2. I know nothing about it so it will be my first time playing. Anything I should know about before I start playing? Is it good?
What weapons In helldivers 2 would be the closest to the weapons the Helghast use in Killzone? what stratagems would they be the most likely to use?
Does anyone know where to get the dlc to download it to a psp?
also this concept art is cool
I played Shadow Fall & really enjoyed it, but only played the demo for Killzone 3 back in the day.
Not expecting life altering gameplay, but I am looking forward to an old school FPS campaign and destructible environments.
...but it was on me, I had wrong expectations.
A while ago I asked here if Killzone 1 was necessary to appreciate this saga. Most of you guys told me that it was skippable, but others told me otherwise. In the end, I decided to play it. It wasn't super fun, but devs clearly tried to give it some gameplay depth: you can carry three weapons at time, most weapons have a secondary fire mode, also 4 playable characters. I enjoyed the game overall, even though I found the level design boring.
Time to play Killzone 2. Whenever I looked for it online there was always a lot of appreciation about it, even though mostly for the cool atmosphere. When I started playing, it instantly felt a lot better than Killzone 1: controls are waaay smoother, more guns around, also maps are way more enjoyable, the whole atmosphere felt a lot better and, elephant in the room, it's visually stunning for an early PS3 game. However, after a while... I started missing those features that made me enjoy Killzone 1: only one weapon at time, no secondary fire mode, no different playable characters. It was cool to shoot and to move around, but overall it felt kinda... dry?
Now, I totally understand that Killzone 2 came out in 2009 and back then Sony had different priorities: devs had to show what the new console was capable of, so a lot of effort in graphics, game physics, cool effects, enjoyable multiplayer modes and such. But I was definitely expecting those Killzone 1 features in Killzone 2, so here I am, kinda disappointed.
That's it. I guess it's one of those game where "I had to be there", and since I missed those times I will never really appreciate Killzone 2 as much as people did in 2009.
I'd love a series on the helgast and their rise to power from settling their new world up to properly the initial invasion......but ya know what I'd really love as well for the franchise to come to xbox
Especially Killzone 2. Not sure why. I feel like I need to do something. 3d print a figurine or buy a big fucking poster. I have this hunger for Killzone and nothing fixes it. Guerrilla went full vegan with generic open world game and it feels so sad. Might get a custom t shirt printed or something
Are you a Killzone 2 fan? Do you want to bring the Helghast vs. ISA conflict to life like never before?
Machinimas have become iconic in games like Halo, Garry's Mod, and even Resistance, giving fans a chance to tell unique, engaging stories using their favorite game worlds. But for a game as rich in lore, visuals, and atmosphere as Killzone 2, machinima content is shockingly rare!
It’s time to change that.
We’re putting together a team to create a high-quality Killzone 2 machinima. This project will tell a story that captures the brutality, betrayal, and moral conflict of the Helghast-ISA war—something beyond just gameplay and lore videos. This is a chance to show what makes Killzone special and give the community something to rally behind.

What I want and feel:
One thing I think would need to happen for a potential Killzone movie or tv show to succeed is a full-on viral marketing campaign. A literal blitzkrieg would need to happen. Some ideas include: Helghast propaganda posters scattering the walls of several major cites, an expedition similar to the Fallout one of a Helghast base with real props and assists from the show (life sized overlord dropship for example,) trailers similar to the classic Killzone one with their striking visual symbolism. Possible interactive websites for Killzone lore with mini-games to figure out details, and just a lot of Killzone merchandise, just to name a few.
The Lore of this universe is quite lovely.
But, as it stands, the Helgans live on Vektan - and built a big wall.
How would you take the lore as it stands, retconning nothing, to expand the story and introduce a new chapter?
What happened, and why?
I know it’s probably been said, but… no way the ISA would have won without plot armour. Holy hell, this campaign… god, I remember how brutal this was on easy for me when I first played it. And beating it on Elite… I should have made a fresh save to keep track of how many times I flipping died, because I’m positive it’s a three digit number, and at LEAST a quarter of that is fighting Radec. Thank god for checkpoints, because it was brutal just getting to a point a save happened and I didn’t have to restart the whole thing over again. It was a real rush, the second stage before the Intruder crashes indoors, I was riding a high sniping people after using up every grenade from the launcher. When the Intruder crashed and checkpoint saved, the biggest sigh of relief you can image left me.
As for fighting Radec, his final defeat after 50 tries (Rico is so useless)… I managed to set him alight with a flamethrower and once that was drained, kept shooting him with whatever guns I could pick up. He finally spawned in front of Visari’s door for the final stage of me shooting him a little bit more (he’d killed me like, ten more times at that part and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat), but was still aflame, and died before I could shoot him. Hilariously, his knife was still in the same hand he uses his pistol to commit suicide. So by a goddamn miracle I won, using the dirtiest Vektan tactics I could.
Obligatory fuck Rico, though he did manage to draw some fire so he has some use. But really, if you don’t hate him for contributing almost nothing, the spitting on Radec and killing Visari cements the deal. Props to Guerrilla for going the route of making the protagonists more unlikable than the antagonists, an interesting experiment.
Anyways, just wanted to share. Off to get the rest of the single player trophies now!
That is all
Like resistance has two novels, one comic book series, which was one of the earliest graphic novels I bought at Barnes & Noble back in middle school.
I mean the killzone universe has a lot of story potential. Enough for one more novel or a comic book series
I mean, why not have an anthology comic book series telling different tales and stories some could be serious some could be comedic. I just find it odd.
