A subreddit devoted to the careful craft of the low-carb drunk. Too many sugary cocktails and carb-laden beer finding their way to your gut, ass, and thighs? We've got the cure for you!
Self promotion of any non-alcohol related keto products is considered SPAM On this sub and you will be banned without further question.
Guidelines are pretty sparse. Just post pictures and recipes of drinks you have found or invented that are interesting, tasty, and keto-friendly! The only thing we ask is that you don't post silly 1-ingredient troll drinks "HURR DURR THIS GLASS OF VODKA IS LOW CARB"
Also don't be racist, don't be a dick, black lives matter here and if you don't like drink a glass of zero carb piss.
This is NOT a place to discuss whether or not you should drink alcohol on keto. This is a place to understand what happens to you while in ketosis and consuming alcohol as well as share experiences and flavor sensations!
Found a low-carb variant of your favorite drink? Perfect. Stumbled across something amazing and new? Go nuts!
Also there are very different reactions to alcohol while in ketosis, so share your experiences, warnings, and successes. Thank you all and enjoy /r/ketodrunk!

Last night I drunk like 400ml of vodka (Brazilian cachaça). Is this an issue regarding ketosis or fat adaptation?
I like to drink, no judgement please.
Does anyone know if they're they Keto friendly? I've been dying to try the Blue Raspberry or Cosmic Berries flavour for a while now but I'm struggling to find out if they contain sugars/carbs? I've even tried contacting them but no luck.
I haven't drank for several years even prior to doing keto, but lately I've been fancing a drink, and these have caught my interest ever since seeing the Cosmic Berries flavour in Costco.

Thanks in-advance.
PS. This is the description on they're website.
"Our Au Blue Raspberry Vodka blends smooth premium vodka with a burst of fruity sweetness, creating an eye-catching and vibrant blue drink that stands out in any setting.
The perfect choice for those who love a bold flavour with a fun twist, this vodka delivers a refreshing and delicious experience, sip after sip.
Flavoured Spirit Drink - 35.2% ABV / 35cl. Must be of legal drinking age to purchase.
Delivery is available to UK addresses only."
Crazy experience I’ve been able to mostly replicate. Anyone else experience superpowers after straight liquor? HUGE energy burst, no sleep, no hangover (unless you go way over).
My best explanation.
Fat adaptation required, not just ketosis (see 2KetoDudes episode 10 - https://2ketodudes.com/details/10)
Once fat adapted (30-60 days?) metabolic priorities shift. In ketosis, the liver prefers to transform alcohol into ketones instead of fat as in alcoholic fatty liver disease. Primary fuel source!
We process macronutrients in order of toxicity: 1. Carbs always first. The body has a devoted system for this - insulin etc. - ensuring we don’t rot from the inside. 2. Alcohol - alcohol poisoning, nuff said. 3. Protein - need some, more than some means it converts to sugar. 4. Fat - benign
Once carbs are gone, and insulin is low, ketones are the primary fuel, so that’s where the liver sends alcohol!
So title says it all. Found out about Colorado Bulldogs, which are vodka, hazelnut liquor, coke and cream. Made them using 2 shots vodka, 1 shot heavy cream, squirt of sugar free coffee flavor, squirt of sugar free hazelnut flavor and coke zero. Fantastic!
Tried to change it up a bit to get away from the syrups. Used Premier Vanilla instead of the syrups and cream. Excellent!
Then tried the chocolate one. Holy hell, like a mudslide! Frackn' dangerous!!!
Hey Mikey! He likes it!
I was thinking that a pink gin was keto friendly but it’s called rose gin…. It doesn’t have a label with how many carbs nor is it on a website. What do you all think?
Cheers
Anytime I drink on keto it’s like drinking cocaine. Started drinking at 8pm last night and finally went to bed this morning at almost 8am because my husband was able to talk me int laying down for a massage. (He’s smart and knows me lol). Woke up at 1pm still buzzing and now I’m snuggling in bed with my dog trying to go to sleep to sleep this off but my brain won’t fkn shut off!! Keto drunk ain’t no joke.
Anyone messed with Monster The Beast Unleashed? I've only been trying their white haze, but it's got 4 carbs. Not too bad. Think I'm set for the next few days lol
Does anyone know how much carbs baileys has? It’s not not nutritional info on the bottle and im finding conflicting answers. Is it a good keto option?
Two days ago I drunk like an alcoholic, spirits, no carbs. Since that Ive 2kg+ on the scale and feeling like a whale. How to fix that?
What do you think? Will I get drunk the time I have ONE drink or?
Anyone on this combination or similar one?
Cherry optional, of course!
It is a scientific fact that watermelon is the worst seltzer flavor, followed by blackberry. Regarding watermelon, which I usually throw away unopened, today for some reason, I just decided to try putting a little Tajin in it, because that is good on actual watermelon, and what do you know! Now it is drinkable! Hopes this helps someone out there suffering through the watermelon seltzer menace.
What are some of the more creative adaptations you ask for in bars to keep your drinks low in sugar and carbs?
I’m getting tired of vodka or tequila & seltzer (especially when they always put too much seltzer water!!), and i don’t drink diet soda, wine or beer. Hoping to hear some suggestions for simple modifications to drinks that are normally sweet like lemon drops, espresso martinis, margaritas, etc.
New to the whole keto thing, spent a long time searching bar menus for keto friendly beer. Imagine my surprise when I found out a Surfside can is only 3 g net carbs lol. Tastes like water but I get the appeal now.
These are beyond minty to the extreme, they are rough to throw back! I found them at Grocery Outlet for $7.99 they come in a variety pack of six ,mango, mint and watermelon. Zero carbs at 8%. They will wreck you but you have to just down fast due unforgiving taste. You were warned 😳🥴
Grabbed this of the counter at my local liquor store, looks new. Claims 0g of carbs which I’m always hesitant to believe but if it’s any good it could be a new go to!
Hi,
Has anyone tried Gratsi wine? 5oz glass of Red is 120 cal and 0.14 carb And 0 sugar.Just ordered some. I miss my wine. Thanks!
I’ve been going strong on keto for about 3 weeks now(?) and I gotta say my go to drink has got to be some Amsterdam vodka (1.75L is only $20 lol) and some diet 7 up. No carbs, and I can still get drunk on the weekends!
Hey, all I recently was diagonosed as a pre-diabetic, so I'm looking to help that and going Keto. I was wondering if Pinnacle flavored vodka (cake, cherry) have any sugar contents? I can't find any on their website, and I was wondering if it's safe to drink?
1/4? 1/3? Half whiskey half coke? 3/4 whiskey!? 100% whiskey!?
We use the Beaverdale wine kits, and ferment down as low as possible, but I'm interested to hear from anyone else who uses kits? Whats the average carb count for your wine? Is it very dry?
As an example our Beaverdale pinot grigio went down to 990 s.g, as dry as it could get. We also like their reds.
