Kaspa is a cryptocurrency based on the GHOSTDAG protocol, which is a generalization of the Nakamoto consensus. It is aiming to be the fastest pure proof-of-work coin and an ultimate L1 solution. No ICO, no pre-mine, fair launched community-driven project, a Nakamoto philosophy heir.

Legacy Type Wallet

Imported my Kaspanet wallet into Kasware 1 month ago as I wanted to use KRC-20 and Kasware was like the only one (or among the only ones) supporting KRC-20 back then.

I'm about to receive a KRC-20 airdrop in a few days, and I just logged in my kasware wallet and saw a notification saying "Your address is a legacy type. It will be deprecated by Kaspa ecosystem soon. Please create a new wallet on kasware and transfer your KAS and KRC20 token to it".

What do you suggest me to do? Keep the wallet or create a new one? I mean I just need to make sure I receive the KRC20 airdrop, that's my main concern, I can obviously move them to a new wallet after receiving.

Will I receive the airdrop ? Let me know what you think. Any suggestion is welcome.

Best way to turn your KYC exchange bought Kas untraceable?

So I’ve been buying USDC on Coinbase then send it to Tangem wallet to then swap for KAS.

I am wondering if any of you beautiful Kaspians know of a good way to turn that KAS into untraceable KAS.

I was thinking of maybe buying a new Tangem wallet then sending my current KAS to an exchange with no KYC like Mexc then sending back to my new Tangem wallet.

Thoughts?

Edit: By traceable I don’t mean not able to see transactions, I mean the ability to connect a wallets transactions to an end user.

I am confused

I am trying to figure out this kasbot shit and just the general Kaspa wallet setup. Aghh. I bought some KAS, sent it to my wallet using the receive address given to me on Kaspium, then sent that to the telegram wallet, bought some NACHO. By that time, Kaspium is giving me a new receive address and that's where I now then send the NACHO. And that is here: https://kas.fyi/address/kaspa:qrjg686jgtgnshktqk8hjlp5jxnx65je3tfe28szqplnx6gvykjfksx2kr6zh

The thing is, with Kaspium not supporting tokens yet (any ETA on that by the way?), I can't see the tokens in my wallet in the app. And when I look at that address on kas.fyi I can see that the address is at all connected with the overarching wallet. The wallet on Kaspium still has a small amount of KAS in it (only 6 KAS), but there is no way that I have found so far to see that there is a wallet address and that wallet has 6 KAS in it, and also has 200k NACHO in it that it has received via this receive address.

Got easy on me, I am new to Kaspa. Coming from Alephium and Ergo where I feel this was a lot easier to see in one place. Help appreciated.

Support Kas by supporting Nacho

Even if you aren’t interested in Meme coins it would be in your best interests to help KRC20 coins be a success. The more of a success they are, the more of a success kas is.

For KRC20 to be a failure will not do any good at all for KAS.

On the other hand. If Kas’s #1 meme coin $Nacho is a success. Then maybe we will see some more Bullish movement on the price of kas.

$Nacho right now is holding at around a 50m market cap and is only being traded right now with a telegram bot.

This is still a huge opportunity for anyone to get on board. Toss a bit of kas in. Get your feet wet.

If you don’t want to buy $Nacho. That’s cool. But if you could support us. That would be awesome.

All you need to do is setup an account on Pionex.

Use referral code:

“Nacho” for US customers

Or

“GONacho” for anyone other then the US.

For other worldly customers who are concerned about KYC. You only need to do a level one setup. Which I guess is just your name and an email address.

Fund your account with 20$ either by deposit, or just send a little bit of crypto to it. And let it sit there for a week.

Let’s bring Kas, and Nacho to the world. Let’s show these other exchanges what they are missing.

Thank you.

Am I so lucky ?? Solo node kaspa, can someone explain?

I’m mining in solo on my own node for 4 days, with 3 miners, 1 ks3m and 2 ks5l. Can someone explain me how can I have so much difference between 2 miners, same hashrate. Here’s the fact, on the pics. In average, I do better than mining on a pool, but why so much difference? I have an idea, want to know yours!! Thanks. ( i can’t show the pic, but after 103 hrs of solo mining on my node, I’ve hit 10 blocks on one ks5l, 1 on the other ks5l, and 1 on the ks3m. One average, I do better, but why 10 vs 1!)

Kaspa SOLO Mining Rewards

Hey ,

I recently set up a Kaspa full node and started solo mining with two KS0s. Two days ago, I found a block and received a reward. However, I'm a bit confused about the payout. According to my dashboard, I should have received 314 KAS, but only 87 KAS showed up in my wallet.

Does anyone know why this might be? I’d like to understand what's going on and would appreciate any help.

Here are the details:

  • Transaction ID: e36a77f9ff094536510513f171cc76a1f1a3d9c280437ebb724e810de8ee9275
  • Wallet: kaspa:qztnczspwnrhary4enq3rmhx0mw08gv4f3528670sda2jqq8yy0jjdqm7u0dh

My balance shows 314 KAS. Does this mean I’ll receive the rest later?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Is Bitcoin sent on the Kaspa chain on 'Chainge' as fast as a Kaspa transaction? What are the roadblocks preventing this from being the payment rails for BTC?

Would the BTC spender have to connect their wallet to Chainge first? The retailer would have the BTC sent to an address on the Kaspa chain, so that is not a problem. But I think customers would be skittish about connecting their wallet to something they never heard of in order to transact with a stranger.

Link for BTC to BTC on the Kaspa chain on Chainge

Shatoshi and Yonathan

Hello guys I was thinking deeply about shatoshi identity and yonathan background until he created kaspa. What do you think about it?

Is "shatoshi nakamoto" linked with yonathan? Or it is a foolish conspiracy story?

Found an article on Forbes with a Q&A with Fred Thiel CEO of Marathon Digital. He’s saying that mining won’t be profitable long term due to the aggressive emissions decline. How does this affect price appreciation?

I know bitcoin has an emissions decline that occurs every four years ie. The halving event.

kaspa halves every year.

So if mining is no longer profitable in the long run, in order to sustain the Kaspa cryptocurrency, fees would have to increase to incentivize block confirmations with ASICs.

Also, shouldn’t the power law apply here since Kaspa is a proof of work?

Nacho and Pionex!!

If you would all like to support KAS’s favorite KRC20 coin.

Nacho is attempting to get a listing on Pionex, as they recently listed kas.

If you can. Please give Pionex a try.

Use referral code “Nacho” for US customers Use referral code “gonacho” for everyone else.

Support Nacho the cat!🐈‍⬛

Also deposit at least 20$ and keep it there for a week.

What type of markets are ripe to fall to Kaspa?

In what markets does money circulate locally? If you have buyers, sellers, and employees who are Kaspa holders, or can be convinced it's better for them to buy and sell with our coin. Especially in a country with an inflating currency and lax regulation. The world now has an immutable, deflating currency with instant settlement.
I see most of the discussion on X is about price, but I would like to push Kaspa's service to new markets instead.

Why does everyone keep saying zoom out?

We are at the same price we were at during November of last year, so barely any change in 10 months. I guess it did well before that point though.

Kaspa Heatmap Update

Current risk metric : 0.17
FYI , the risk metric ranges from 0 to 1 and as you can see it's color coded from dark blue to dark red. Obviously darker blue colors yield amazing results based on the data since 2022 , whenever the metric is at these levels , the price will definitely increase in the following months . Right now the risk metric is 0.17 which is extremely low , to be exact it's been the lowest since early days of $KAS ( Jul 2022).

Another meaningful take from this chart is , how the absolute peak of Nov 2023 ( 0.1441) has turned to an absolute bottom now which is evident from the color codings. In general I'd say Kaspa is in a deep accumulation and consolidation zone and an all-out breakout will happen over the next months . Don't fumble your Kaspa bags.
This is not a financial advice.

ALL IN KASPA

I'm all in right now. I'm so screwed if it comes to rug pull...

Just kidding. Kaspa at this price is great opportunity to buy more! Don't miss it!

We are waiting for mc of 50 billions $

Edit: This is my second btc cycle (6 years in crypto). I always thought that there should be as many different coins as possible in my portfolio and I was guided by that. It’s great if you want to make a small gain, it turned out to be so. I've never been as sure as I am about the Kaspa project. Because of that I am almost ALL IN (90% Kaspa 10% btc)

If someone wanted to manipulate the price.....

Lots of talk about Mara and exchanges manipulating the price but I'm a relative crypto/trading newb and trying to understand how they would actually do it... and how much capital would be needed to do this on an asset KASPA's current size? Is there any way to monitor the on chain data to give clues as to what (if anything) is going on?

If someone wanted to suppress the price for a while in order to accumulate more... isn't the only way they can do this by selling off a bunch of KAS then buying up it up when the price crashes? if so wouldn't the demand (and thus price) just increase more once they bought back more than they had originally sold?

Please keep answers to how someone would hypothetically do this NOT a discussion on why the price has been sticking around this zone for so long... we got enough of those already!

KRC20 dex is coming via Chainge Finance

Chainge Finance announced in their X/Twitter Space this morning that they will be coming out with a dex for KRC20s this week, It might just be in testing though. They did mention that people would be able to eventually swap between KRC20 tokens and not have to use Kaspa as the middle man. example: NACHO>GHOAD instead of NACHO>KAS>GHOAD.
