What in your opinion is your best script for writing Kashmiri language? In my opinion Perso-Arabic, Devanagari and Sharada are not suitable for Kashmiri language. We should develop a script based on Latin alphabet with addition of some new letters. What do you think?
Is there anywhere near Shopian with Kashmiri language lessons for foreign adults? I'm a native English speak and just moved in with my spouse's family.
I have apps and my husband helps here and there, but just trying to tell my mother in law that I'll get the dishes washed became an ordeal.
Also found out by accident to use any English word besides "cup" for a drinking glass, especially with a Chicago accent whoops.
I figure there isn't much of a need to teach Kashmiri to non-kashmiris. Especially in the villages. But I might as well try.
Can someone please explain what does this word mean?
Is it a devotional song to Lord Shiva? Is it a secular devotional song? Or it is different appropriated for devotion?
Hello there, I have a Kashmiri poem in Latin script. Would someone please write it for me in (कॉशुर / كٲشُر script?

i have a few questions about this word.
is it that this word originated from "mahraj" as in the "king"?
why is this word used for a groom and conversely "mahrein" as in queen? why? whats the deal about calling groom and bride as king/queen?
is this from the sanskrit or persian background?
if we dont use this word, "mahraz/mahrein", what should we use instead?
