Hey everyone, I just have a question to anyone who has been in knp for more than few years or people who are from knp about the Nightlife here like clubbing, night outs on weekend's.

Are the clubs/lounges here dry as they seem like I've been to few in Swaroop nagar: Bodega, Moody's, Shor and few others like Romeo Lane, Dhuaan, Bella. why are there places so dry like very few people there I only see M crowd very less Fs (it's almost none). Is there any other places where the crowd is good or am I going on the wrong days! like usually go on weekends but it's same.

Are there any other places where I should go or it it like this all the time! from what I've seen people don't go out much here?

Hey everyone!

I am a 27 year old guy working in my family business for quite a while now. I am decent looking, 5 feet 8 inches tall and earn pretty well. Weekdays keep me super busy since my schedule is crammed with office work, gym, sports etc but the loneliness really hits me over the weekend and even more during festivals..

The problem is that I have almost zero female interaction at the moment. I do have lots of male friends (Most of them are in different cities because of their jobs) and gym buddies but that’s pretty much about it. My introvert nature doesn’t seem to help my case either. Also, back in school I got friendzoned like twice and that really messed with my life. So the trauma of rejection is always at the back of my mind.

My parents want me to get married but I am not really willing to settle for arranged marriage. I honestly feel that to stay happy, I need to find a girl myself and see if we are compatible before getting married.

I’d like to hear from people who have been on the same boat as me or from anyone in general who found success in finding their soulmate in a place like Kanpur where the dating scene is potentially dead!!

PS. By dating I mean dating that leads to marriage if things go well. I’m not looking to hook up or get into a casual relationship.

Most of the Kanpuriyas I have seen are either eating gutkha or pan. They just spit everywhere which absolutely disgusts me. Compared to other cities I have went like Lucknow, Vanarasi etc, people have very less civic sense and no manners. I will shift to Allahabad if I ever get a chance.

Went for cycling in the evening just like every other weekend and a burning sensation started in my nostrils after some time. This soon developed into itchy throat and I started wheezing. When I started gasping for air I rushed to a medical shop and bought and huffed 2 respules of salbutamol and then somehow cycled back home. I am asthamatic and this is the first time in months I was forced to use asthama meds. I dont think I'll be cycling for some time.
