Kamloops is a city in the interior of British Columbia Canada. Kamloops is home to roughly 100,000 people and is where the Thompson rivers meet.
Over 86,000 people in Kamloops and there isn't a reddit for it, well now there is.
This Reddit is just a baby, let the mod know if there is anything you would like to see here.

Now that I have your attention, I am looking for a couple of people to join my table top rpg group. It is me and 3 people, but one has weird work schedule and another temporarily backed out for family help.
I am running a Iron Kingdoms Skorne rp.
Gaming goes from 6:30 and goes to 11ish.
We have a FB chat group set up to help coordinate.
I have 2 cats that are well behaved and dont bother us for the most part.
On occasion it will be a board game night or movie night. Such a thing occurs if there is not enough people or a critical person is not present. Movie is planned before hand and with permission from the rest of the group.
My qualifications: BTech CSE; 7.5 CGPA; IELTS 7
if anyone knows someone who is attending or has completed this program from TRU? could anyone provide any reviews regarding the university and the MSc in Data science program?
How is the condition for part-time jobs and accommodation in kamloops? i am flexible for all jobs
Thanks in Advance.
It's my birthday weekend, I'm turning 35 I'm wondering if there is anything happening in town that evening? I was so sad that stills.co closed. It was such a vibe and great place to spend a couple hours socializing with great drinks. Let me know if you've heard of anything happening.
Anyone know places in town other than five star that sell nicotine pouches? Tired of paying $25 a tin for zyns.
Does anyone know when the Highland Valley Copper expansion will be starting up? I hear they have about 3 years of work, with high paying union jobs?
Does anyone know when Scott’s is due to open up again? My weekend breakfasts just aren’t the same!
Ugh, can't some people accept that the AAP went through? Kamloops needs to progress as a city, which includes (gasp!) building things that benefit citizens as a whole. Just because you personally won't use it doesn't mean a whole lot of other residents and visitors won't!
I have a family member coming to visit who enjoys thrifting and poking around for antiques. Are there any suggestions for where I can take him around town or within an hour?
Traffic is cooked right now. Bumper to bumper traffic north bound on the highway starting near the mall. Most of uptown is in shambles.
Hi Anyone have feedback regarding the house keeping services by comfortkeepers?
Any recommendations of a good service provider?
Thanks in advance
Hey! I’m a 20y/o female healthcare worker here in Kamloops. I’ve been working here coming close to a year now and have a hard time putting myself out there to meet new people, it’s also hard to do so I’ve noticed. I love animals and love to interact with people when I can:) Making new friends at this age is hard!!!
Is there a new Korean Restaurant in town?
Hey! Its me, the Osmond Ward guy again. Ive been running an irl table game of my custom steampunk ttrpg - osmond ward - for the last year or two now, and while we started at 4 players, we’re down to ~3-2 at the current moment.
We’re still regularly playing, but two players isnt nearly enough for a mid level campaign like this.
As a result, we’ve decided as a group to put out feelers for new players!
If you are interested in steampunk, gaslamp fantasy, action adventure novels and world ending threats, this game system is for you! The game itself is run simultaneously to a massive online game being run over discord, and your actions influence the greater world and vice versa.
Ill willingly admit the system isnt fully polished. Things break here and there. Thats partially why we’re running the campaigns at all - we test the game by playing it! As a result, breaking and tearing things apart are kinda part of the system.
If any of this interests you in any way whatsoever, feel free to leave a comment or pm me. Id be happy to chat further.
Looking for new fishing friends! Ice fishing comming soon! I've got all the gear for all seasons! Males or female!
I found 20 USD on the ground yesterday and was wondering where would be the best place to go to get it exchanged into Canadian cash, I don't have a bank account or any of that. any help is needed.
Does anyone know if anywhere in town sells steam decks? I was told best buy did, but they only had the Rog Ally
Anyone know any details? I had seen, looked like a green 90s Camaro, being chased by a police vehicle up three different streets. Crazy to see it happening so close to a school…
I’m a 21F who is a 2nd year science student at TRU and it’s been really hard to make like genuine friends here since I moved here 2 years ago. I’m queer, I love anime and gaming and I’m starting to get into snowboarding this season. Shoot me a message if you want to make friends
Hey all, I’m in conversion classes, and so far my only real community involvement is schlepping to Kelowna every so often (don’t get me wrong they’re a lovely and super welcoming community) or going to services any time I visit Vancouver. If there is any community or events in town (young adults especially) to be involved in, that would be really helpful to my journey and I’d greatly appreciate it. TIA!
(For additional context I’ve only lived in Kamloops for a little over a year)
Where could someone go in Kamloops to cut Pine and Greenery to make their own urn insert for the holidays?
Hello! I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experience or insights into building a home in our area. I’d love to hear about your experience with the process—what was it like?
My biggest question is about costs. For those of you who have built a home here, how much did it end up costing? I understand there are many factors that can influence the price, and I’ve looked into this online, but I’d really value feedback from people who have firsthand knowledge of building in this area and how local factors come into play.
Any additional tips or advice would be greatly appreciated as well!
