OK, I guess we should get this out of the way. I figure half or more of business owners are MAGA. Any particularly rabid ones, really enthusiastic brainwashed bootlicking businesses in the area you know of?
Hey everyone, I’ve been living in Johns Creek for almost 9 years now, but I’m a 21-year-old recent college grad looking to make some new friends in or near the area!
I’m into going to the gym, playing video games, shopping, hanging out, and spending time in nature. Whether it’s hitting the gym together, exploring local spots, or just chilling, I’d love to connect with people around here.
Feel free to comment or DM me if you’re interested!
Hey y’all, wanted to share that me and other fragrance enthusiasts have created an ATL fragrance group on FB. This group is still in early stages, but it’s a place where we can talk about our cologne hobby and conduct forms of Trade/selling among us in the community!! We have plans for the community when it get big such as giveaways, raffles, and more!🎊
Please note we are building a mod team to make sure no scammer, ad pusher, or fragrance knockoff are present in our group.
Our group is call “Atlanta fragrance Lounge”, can be found in the URL attached. Thank you 🙏🏽

hi all tldr, my cat is having a bit of a medical emergency that started (of course) right as it got dark. we called emergency vet who said it should be ok if we come in the morning instead of tonight (but definitely the morning), but i’m worried about ice. does anyone know of a resource i can check to see if my route has been salted? or if there’s anyone i can call to ask? included a pic of her sleeping arrangement tonight to minimize the harm she can do to herself as recommended by the vet :( i just want my baby to be ok
Not wasting money on cricket and underground tunnels smh
Not sure if this is allowed on here. Seeking a male LGBTQ friendly Primary Physician with full size office 🏬 accepting major insurance in the John's Creek/Suwanee/Buford area. Thanks in advance ☺️.
Current metro Atlanta family looking at relocating to JC primarily for the schools. We are targeting the Dolvin, Autry, JC High cluster.
I’m looking for some “real talk” on the actual quality of the education with a specific focus on elementary. Our current schools are 7+ but we are very unimpressed and curious if it’s the general state of public education.
Here are some of our specific questions:
What are the actual elementary class sizes (not GreatSchools teacher:student ratio)
Do the Kindergarten classes have a teaching assistant (2nd person in the room)?
How much screen time is present in the classroom? Computer time + movies + YouTube etc.?
How much of the learning is hands on vs on a chrome book?
How much outdoor time do the kids get?
Is it obvious that students are learning, advancing, and being challenged?
What makes these JC schools special or unique compared to other comparable areas?
What do you wish there was more/less of?
Thank you in advance!
Hey while on a walk last night(1/3) I dropped my keys in the park. They have a Kia fob and a ksu bagwell lanyard on them. Ping me if anyone has seen them, has them or turned them in! Thank you!
Edit: I dropped them in newtown park near the pickle and tennis courts. I walked in from the side entrance near the maintenance/construction area
I recently bought a car with matte paint. I have dug around looking for a car wash or detailer that can clean a car with a matte finish, but I'm skeptical my searches aren't just pulling all local car washes and detailers. Any recomendations are appreciated.
Hey y'all. We want to do a date-night Christmas light drive around. Anyone have any suggestions for good neighborhoods in Johns Creek/Alpharetta? Or any particular house that is worth driving by?
(xposted to the Alpharetta sub, too)

Ok need to hear from y’all again. When we were looking into utilities we noticed a LOT of gas options. Any suggestions on which one to go with?
Sorry, not willing to disclose the neighbourhood name ( between johns bridge rd and medlock bridge rd)
I moved to this area a couple of months ago, aware that there was only one Internet Service Provider (ISP) serving our community. After checking nearby neighborhoods, I found the same situation—just one ISP available.
I’m curious about why there aren’t any other providers here to foster healthy competition. Is it mainly due to high investment costs and profit margins that keep other companies from entering the market? Are people living here generally satisfied with having just one option? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Johns creek is currently the largest city by population without one dedicated footballfield. When a recent study was done by an outside firm on what the city needs most with new park was Multipurpose sports fields, including football. What did they do instead? They put down cricket and soccer… 🤦🤦 meanwhile the city is waisting huge amounts of money on a lake and underground tunnel for their new “Avalon” this is why young families are leaving johns creek.. this is why tbe 4 high schools are historical bad at sports. They also have no gym space or rec center. Kids are playing sports less and less in this community and the largest park is Ocee which is baseball only, and technically in the city of Alpharetta, in fact the park was donated by Alpharetta. It has already outgrown its size and the city puts zero baseball fields at its new park lol 😂… there is a large group currently organizing a recall of the current mayor and city council which is a complete joke and more concerned about pickle ball than building a city for young families, it’s become a retirement community! In fact fulton county is looking at closing elementary schools in the coming years because of a major lack in growth.
Hi friends and neighbors. We built a house in Bellmoore Park a few years ago. We’ve since started a family and have a little kiddo at home. We’ve enjoyed the neighborhood and our home, but our perception is that St. Ives as a community may better align with our family’s interests. By that, I mean that the HOA and the community seem much more established at St. Ives than at Bellmoore, which is still being built out and the HOA remains under control by the builder, ultimately. We perceive that St. Ives has more activities for families, more social events for homeowners, etc.
But there is also the country club component; we’re members elsewhere so I presume that, unless we as homeowners were also members in the country club, pool usage, for example, would not be available in St. Ives. At Bellmoore, all the amenities are included in the HOA dues, of course, as is lawn care and landscaping (but, there again, we’d have more of a lawn at St. Ives, even if I would have to find someone myself to mow it).
We actually looked at a few homes in St. Ives before building in Bellmoore, but none of those physical homes were (obviously) right for us. We’ve never forgotten what an outstanding community it seemed to be, hence why we’re considering getting back into the market for the right opportunity.
Any opinions by those familiar with either or both developments?
Edit to clarify, we also aesthetically prefer the homes in St. Ives than Bellmoore. So community, aesthetic and lawn size are probably the motivators.
What’s diversity like for the area? Are the schools somewhat diverse culturally?
Looking to move to Fulton County and was told two of the best areas are Johns Creek and Alpharetta. I know nothing about either area and looking for information from current residents. What say you?
My family is looking to move to Johns Creek and I’m curious about utility costs for the area. Understanding house size, age, and insulation plays a huge factor, what is the average cost of utility costs for the Johns Creek area?
My family and I are relocating to the Fulton County area and are looking for rentals. We are looking into the Aylesbury Farms apartment complex and wanted to know if anyone could offer some information about it.
Anyone is going to the flea market charity sale event on Saturday 10/19 11am-3pm?
Located at 6000 medlock bridge pkwy.
I will be giving out some pokemon trick or trade packs there.
Johns Creek is close enough to some of these areas to be possibly affected.

Looking for something similar to Taco Mac (10 years ago Taco Mac - back when it was actually good) or Marlows. Anything in Johns Creek we should try? Haven’t really found anything, but feel like we are just missing some obvious choices.
Recommendations for good pest control service Pest ban vs arrow? I have a bug phobia so i need someone really thorough
I submitted a request to remove a few trees on our property to the City of Johns Creek and they told me to find out whether the trees are located in a landscape strip or zoning buffer. How do I find that out? Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
