Well, I did it! I bought one, today. Yes it cost a lot of money, I’m looking at this as an investment. I bought it because I’m a super fan of the RHCP and JF. I think this will be a great guitar for an ever growing collection. I also own a Mike Mccready signature Strat. I hear Fender is releasing less than 100 JF models(I heard that today at guitar center). I might not be true though. I e been waiting a long time to see this happen. I never thought it would happen but it has and now I have one cotton me 2nd quarter 2025.
I’ve been in the market for some new pedals and I was wondering what some good fuzz or overdrive pedals would be
Just seems like John sold out in a way. I remember Dave Lee talking about John not wanting to play replica/custom shop guitars back in the day since he liked the “life” his instruments had, just seems kinda hypocritical in a sense. Personally, for 20k I’d get a real 1962 Stratocaster. But 20k is still definitely out of most real fans’ price range. Hell, I even saw on the rhcp subreddit some guy talking about buying it as an “investment” even though he doesn’t listen to the chili peppers. Just kinda seems against everything John used to stand for back in his first two stints with rhcp. Just wondering if anyone else feels that way. People change obviously and seems like John has
Don't know what to say Mr Zuckerberg
Since the official release of the replica strat: I remember there have been some pictures of a guy carrying Fender guitar boxes to RHCP shows. I started thinking that John maybe retired the OG strat for touring and may be using the replicas live on stage. What do you think? I know, nobody can really know.
got an octopus tattoo on my right shoulder inspired by johns, suppose this means im a fan for life now :)

Hope this is alright to post. I'm not affiliated with this channel at all, but I haven't been this blown away since the first time I saw Dave Simpson's channel. This guy has great guitar tone, does the backing vocals and plays great improv solo's like John. He's live right now, worth checking out or looking at his saved videos.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what settings I should use on the boss ce 2w for that utb outro tone?
Just a tiny clip because it keeps repeating but I thought I’d still show the FruFolks
With the news of the $20k Master Built JF replica, got me thinking. How many of us out there that don't need to be 1:1 with Froosh's gear to get a sound you're happy with?
I got a few things from Dave Simpson (Jackhammer and Vox Wah recommendation, as well as finally be happy with my DS-2) but I run with a Fender Frontman. A Jaguar is my main guitar but I also have an Ibanez Artcore full hollow.
I don't need a Silver Jubilee, or a 60's replica strat, or a CE-1, or a Micro Amp, or one of the 30 fuzzes he has. No shame if you got that stuff, that's not what I'm trying to get at.
Hey guys!
Looking for some tips, exercises, scales etc to learn and drill to help with JF style improvising?
Any advice/YT links or anything is appreciated. !

Can’t find the thread now but a couple of people were saying John has a large bald patch now on the back of his head. Can’t find any sources on this. Is this why he cut his hair shorter?
Trying to sound more like him. Please cite your answers
Which is better for that chili pepper tone?
What do ye think about this knock off ce1 pedal. Is it good for that chili pepper tone?
