I’m an assistant and have a GM who is REFUSING TO ADRESS inshop issues, be it sexism, racism, underage shift leads using drugs or alcohol while on the job (on the extreme end), poor work performance, tardiness, not in uniform, and general disrespect blatant or otherwise. I really like my job and have aspirations to move up the ladder, I’m the only female manager and I’m at my wits end. I’m forced to go over my GM’s head regularly, but my AM is the same way. No one wants to write up, reprimand, or fire anyone, even when there are calls from customers of battery from uniformed teens and I’m always left being the “bitchy manager”. I’m tired and overworked and I’m not sure how to proceed.
I was told that JJs has a Picklewich, or some crazy idea of a sandwich inside a pickle instead of bread. So I had to stop and get one.
It is, in fact, a pickle for bread, with the guts painfully scooped out with some crappy little ice cream scooper!
The poor employee goes through hell to put together an abomination lol.
Would eat again.
Definitely get what they’re going for but as an employee, if I saw this during a particularly bad shift I might just take it as my sign to quit lmao
The best order i’ve seen.
i usually like tomatoes but i sometimes save my jimmy for later, i don’t want it to get soggy. Have never tried to Vito or the oil & vinegar. let me know im very open to suggestions!
(im excited for kickin ranch to come back)
I was on line took off my gloves, washed my hands then started stretching a cycle. She walks up "Sir where are your gloves?!" when I explained to her that's normal since I washed my hands and it goes into an oven. She says something along the lines of "that's unsanitary" and wanted to cancel.
In 4 years I've never had someone question it, I've never even thought about people not understanding. What do they think people do in kitchens, bakeries, pizza places, etc 😑
Hoping someone from either Corporate or at a minimum, the franchisee in Erie, PA sees this.
5th and Street store and it's packed with a next-day lunch order for 30 and packed with a dozen individual orders.
THANK GOD for Marlon...he's the embodiment of "freaky fast", is friendly and engaging and ALONE!
He's been managing the whole property all by himself for the 6 hours before I walked in and is absolutely rocking the place.
You've got a superstar in your midst. He deserves better and could teach a lot of people how to do the right things in the right way.
THANK YOU MARLON...you turned what could have been a disaster into a fabulous customer experience!
Ordered 11 box lunches for delivery on Monday. I did not add tip to the payment because I’m going to give cash when it is delivered I’m not going to get my food spit in am I?
Had a shitty day, didn’t feel like cooking so I decided to get a sandwich. Got the normal club lulu with cheese that’s all I said. It cost me 10.90 including taxes.
Cheese was an extra $1.25. Tax around 70 cents.
I love Jimmy John’s but ain’t no normal size fast food sub worth double digits it wasn’t even the giant version.
Does anyone else think it’s insane to pay that much for half a sub??
At that point I could just go to Culver’s for a burger for less. Like the fuck.
I can afford it but $11 for a half a sub seems wild to me. I’m in the Midwest btw
I just got an email on October 28th that the pickle chips were back, and then I get an email this morning saying they're leaving? What is he even going on with corporate? It's been 8 days at least give us a month
2 on the handlebars, 1 in the backpack, 6 in the back. Not my biggest by any means but definitely in the top 10.
Why can’t we just run the stores with this lighting, it’s so much better than those bright ass lights. It felt so much better in the store when we had these on in the lobby.
Thou scoop shall never fall for no reason again!
I am looking to buy running JJ store in Chicago metro .
Last year (2023) gross is in between 500k -550k . Seller is asking for 275k for franchisee transfer and goodwill .
Store rent is between 4000-5000$.Seller mentioned that his net is 90k after all expenses.
I have experience working in Subway restaurants for 2 years back in 2015-2017.
What do you think in terms of buying the JJ store ? Any suggestions and advice ? It is going to be owner operated store and owner family will put 60-70 hours.
Thanks in advance .
i’m just wondering if jimmy johns is a job i should consider for part time work. is it difficult? anything i should look out for both in the interview and on the job? any pieces of information would be greatly appreciated! thanks
So, I think we can all agree that the best option for two opposing sides is to sit down and come to an agreement. That way, both sides get what they want, and there’s no outward animosity. Well then, what better way to settle things than over your favorite sandwiches from Jimmy John’s?😂😂
this one goes out to the 26°F cold sandwich enjoyer
bad d
My nearest JJ's is literally 2.3 miles from my home and on the same road. Accounting for lights, it's a 5 minute drive, yet I have always gotten an "It looks like the address you entered isn't in our delivery area" message when trying to order online or via the app. I don't call on the phone. Some days, I'm just lazy or busy and don't want to make the quick drive myself. How does this happen? Is there a way to request a fix?
Okay but seriously why does cmx randomly do this? It’s so funny
I run the drive thru. Usually after 2pm, I take a small break and then clean the lobby and the floors. But ever since last week, it's been impossible. Business has really picked up because of the pickle situation and I don't have time to do anything. And now that we have the combo deal, it has become even worse. I hate leaving a dirty lobby after lunch, but I hate ignoring customers even more.
I start feeling spiteful towards the customers that interrupt my routine. So if I'm interrupted during my cleaning process, I don't offer the free combo deal. If they ask for it? Sure! But if they don't know? I keep my mouth shut. It's more money for the store and it's easier to ring in their order.
So that's my issue. Do I just take their money as punishment for interrupting my cleaning or do I tell everybody about their freebies? I walk a fine line between trying to save customers money and upping our sales. But I've been shot down too many times to care anymore. Do you know how many people I argue with when they buy a Big John with cheese? Buy a number 10, for fuck's sake! But they insist.....
So what do I do? Make my job easier and gain more revenue for the store? Or baby every customer to save them money?
Has anyone’s store added the icemaker to the top of the soda machine? Any Chicago suburb locations that can suggest a plumber for this?
I've heard a rumor that the great minds at Inspire Brands are looking into selling breakfast sandwiches and coffee. What are the chances of it actually happening?
