[WIP] The Forest Dragon Awakens aka 50 Shades of Green (Ravensburger, 3000 pieces)

I bought this at the giftshop because I thought it would be easy to get back home since it's so small. However now I'm realizing that my husband and I are blind as bats and its so hard to see how the little brush strokes meet up.

150 piece MicroPuzzle from Musee de l'Orangerie is the hardest puzzle I have ever done

A lot of us have done this one. I like the whimsical animals but not the super glossy  pieces. It might have made a fun family puzzle at a lower piece count since the theme would appeal to a lot of kids. And since the sun is shining and they only seem to be eating cookies, cakes and doughnuts, it doesn’t seem much like a night or a dinner, which would probably also appeal to kids (and some ex-kids too.)

I just saw these in a local grocery store. The idea is that the kid complete the round js puzzle in the middle with the larger pieces, and then the adult finish the rest with the smaller pieces.
The js puzzles looked too easy for me, so I didn't buy any. 

But I think it was a cute idea, and one I haven't seen before.

It was a store brand, Rema1000 is the grocery store.

Scenic Railroad - White Mountain Puzzles - 1000 pcs

One of my favorite puzzles! But also what the heck is HP sauce? What do you put it on? Confused American here. 

Pinks at the end were a little tricky since there isn’t a lot of shape variety. But the collage style of sauces made this super satisfying. Pieces have a nice matte feel, little to no glare, and a satisfying click sound when completed. I had probably 3 false fits? Nothing too crazy.

This has to be in my top 3 puzzles for the year. I loved this puzzle because of how gratifying sorting by color felt and how well it positioned me to work through each section. 

And then the mishap happened. Well first, I should say that I typically finish puzzles in the evening, take a photo, and disassemble them. Since I loved this one so much I left it in my board until the morning to allow for a photo in daylight. I had the board on my coffee table and in the morning I accidentally spilled a glass of electrolyte water all over the puzzle and the board!! I panicked. I grabbed a ton of paper towel and tried to soak up and wipe the water. Big mistake. The print rubbed off from the cardboard pieces. Despite my best efforts the puzzle was not salvageable. 

I still loved doing it and I’d do it again if I end up buying it. This one I got at a swap so I don’t feel as bad as I would if I had purchased it brand new. Thanks for reading :)

Master Pieces - Neuschwanstein Balloons - 300 Pieces

My entry fits the theme because the image is of a kitchen! I asked my mom if she had anything that fit the theme that I could borrow and to my surprise she had several. I don't even remember what the other ones were because I just saw cats and knew this was the one.

There weren't any false fits but the pieces fit a little looser than I remember for Buffalo. It did make disassembly really easy though. All of the fur seemed daunting at first so I piled those pieces away and left it for the end. By the time I got to it I had realized there really wasn't much and it went by a lot more quickly than I had expected.
