I finished the Moon!! Started in early October, thought it would be easy. Quickly learned that I was sooooo wrong on that. Joined this reddit and saved photos from others who had finished it, used them to zoom in on the shapes of each piece until I learned the pattern. I have maaaaaaaybe 2 evenings/week, not every week, that I can work on a puzzle. Lost my Dad in November, lost my Grandmother in February, and just finished this beast last night. My daughter asked me if she could have this one framed when it was finished, which was the motivation for me to keep going, even on some nights when I couldn't get a single piece in place. I even started and finished two other 1000-piece, and 1 500-piece, puzzles during this one, just to give myself a break. For those who said that this one was medium difficult, I am in awe. Just for me, here's my photo of my completed BlueKazoo Moon:
Made this on New Year’s Eve
Three new Buffalo Puzzles. Excited about the Thomas Kinkade Studios one with Deadpool. My first 1000pc Ensky Demon Slayer (my favorite anime). Also excited to try LOTR one by Theory II. Looks awesome and has some type of online interaction part to it.
Fun lil snack puzzle!
Probably the fastest puzzle we have put together as a family, but it was so much fun.
Holding onto the 3k until the right time to start it
I am trying to find different puzzles and puzzle companies that do gimmicky puzzles. Such as Odd pieces where the picture doesn't match the actual puzzle or Magic Puzzle Company that has extra pieces to make a different image at the end when you move the sections around. We also like Unidragons wooden puzzles like the space adventure one they did on kickstarter. Any suggestions where to look for fun stuff like those?
Looking for suggestions on brands that preferably don't use AI as well ☺️ My Canadian ass wants to keep doing puzzles but the second hand ones are very scarce where I live so I'm trying to find brands that aren't american to support!
Hautman brothers collection 1000 piece Big Cat Collage
Picked up a lot of new puzzles this weekend! The 3 on left were from my stepmom and the cat one on top was from my local Buy Nothing Group. The middle Vegas puzzle was on clearance at Ollie's and the fish selfie and 2000 piece Ocean Park were on clearance at Michael's. Mickey in the snow and Nightmare Beforw Christmas were on clearance at Kohl's. The Winnie the Pooh puzzle was the only one I paid full price for. Paid about $37 total for everything!
The fish selfie puzzle is really cute but I was apprehensive about buying something they if likely AI. I decided to go for it since it was only $3, but I wouldn't have done it for full price.
