Beatles song: 'Lucy in the sky with diamonds'. Thrift store purchase and one piece right in the middle missing 😭 The grey area was a bit challenging until I realized my lighting is really bad and I was missing all the subtle differences in colour/shade/tiny details. Once I brought in a desk lamp it went much faster!

Looking for a puzzle board, needs good slide-ability when moving pieces
I have a lovely wooden varnished dining table. I really like doing jigsaws on it, but need a storage solution.
I really disliked the felt roll I bought, so I'm looking for something made of wood. But most of what I can find is MDF, not actual wood. Are the MDF boards quite slidey for moving pieces? If yours is, can you please let me know the brand if you can remember?
I tend to do 1,000 piece puzzles, but don't mind a bigger board or storage drawers to give extra space.

Custom jigsaw puzzles in Aus
I’m wanting to gift my friend who likes puzzles a puzzle with an image I choose that is at least 1000 pieces. Does anyone know where to get this done in Australia? I know Ravensburger does them but I can’t find anything on the Australian site to order a custom puzzle.

First Timed Puzzle: 500 Pieces in 1:08... Thoughts on my Competition Potential?
Hi guys... I am an avid puzzler and I JUST discovered Karen Puzzles on youtube this morning!!
I decided to time myself and I finished a 500 piece puzzle in 1 hour and 8 minutes!! I am beyond delighted with my time and I feel really proud of myself.
My google searches are not yielding any responses to my question: How do I get into competitive puzzling? I am 20 years old so I feel like I could actually hone my skills and become a puzzle beast. Any suggestions?
Also: Any recommendations for puzzle youtubers/bloggers to help improve my skills? Do i need to buy Ravensburger puzzles? Anyone in NYC an avid puzzler and where do you puzzle?
