Have been working on this piece over numerous sessions with Dan Herlihy @ Absolute Tattoo Reno
Love seeing everyone’s work!

Hey all, I’ve been trying to plan my sleeve and have been trying to find more info on “lucky” or good luck motifs and feel like I’ve exhausted all the internet has to offer me. I’m just looking to see if there is anything I’m unaware of that directly relates to my main ideas, and to make sure the ideas I’m planning don’t clash with each other. Currently planning to include some sakura, a few lanterns, hoju gems, and a daruma doll or lucky cat. I’m wanting to have wind for the background, so I just want to make sure these ideas don’t directly go against each other. Any feedback or opinions is greatly appreciated!
I'm fairly new to irezumis and I watched a lot of Ed Hardy , taki/horitomo , horiyoshi and all of the legends
And Chris Trevino really caught my eye I like his bodysuits and in my opinion they look very unique.
Right now I'm thinking about either getting a Chris Trevino bodysuit or wait in the wait-list of taki and horitomo.
What would y'all recommend?
I have a large koi fish on my outer thigh. Thinking about covering the other half of the thigh, inner half, with a similar themed tattoo. How high up the thigh is appropriate? Don’t want to have an unintentional awkward convo with tattoo artist.
Took a break from background shading and added some color!
@woosoggi Have a great week ahead!
Matthew Crim in KC. Put the purple in the robe the last session, really stoked on the purple. That be trimmed in yellow gold and the Wanatabe mon added later. Really thrilled auth the whole thing, Matthew does awesome work.
Hi, I’m looking to start an irezumi on my right arm, I like autumn so I am wanting to go with a fall design. I am aware maple leaves and wind bars are okay to be the main fill of the sleeve but would like to know what I can include in this to keep it traditional (prefer it that way). Can lightning be part of this also & what creatures can I include in this? Thanks
Really happy with the final result
