Can anyone find the dupe for this in aged brass? Trying to find 24 of them and when I go to checkout, it’s out of stock.
I browsed some bathroom renderings, and adding wooden elements brought a unique touch that other materials couldn't match. They add a natural warmth that marble can't provide, making the space much more inviting. But in practice, is that the case?
Would you use wood in your bathroom? What kind of wooden elements would you add—like a vanity, shelving, or something else?
I’m renting a home that is just beautiful, but unfortunately, every room aside from the living room (thank GOD for that) is some different shade of blue. This one takes the cake though, as everything up to the moulding and door frames are this same color. Owner is not open to painting. Are there any good suggestions for renter-friendly ways to break this up a bit? I was thinking peel and stick wallpaper for a bit but too nervous for removal. Also was looking at solid color/wood grain/brick tapestries, but not sure how realistic those would look? Please help!
My boyfriend and I picked up this 1968 Kroehler love seat to put in our studio apartment. It is red plaid and it has dark brown wood details. I want to put in a carpet and new bed spread. I am so lost on what colour would look good with this!!! I am beginning to feel like I shot myself in the foot buying this. Most of our furniture is black and our current bedsheets are white if that helps.
I want it to look homey and cohesive. I am sorry if this is not the best picture of the couch I don’t have another one on hand right now.
What colours for a carpet and bedspread would look good with this?? Please help!
My livingroom has dark stained wood floors with a mid green walls and skirting boards. I'm super excited about having painted it all green today, it looks classy, moody and a bit vintage, I love it!
I live in an old cottage that's a bit hicklty picklty so km not going for super modern. The kitchen is cuboard sized and is currently dark and depressing. Initially I was thinking about painting the lower cabinets green, the top ones white to open up the space, wooden or white worktops, and a natural green and white wallpaper with a white backslash. Maybe green lol. Now to calm it down a bit jm thinking I could do fully white cabinets instead. But idk if I should scrap the green wallpaper still.
Should I do a whole other colour theme? Should the whole rest of the house now be white with bits of green? Lol idk. It is NOT open plan it's just a small room very British 200 yr old cottage
I have a large arched shaped window in my living room that I haven’t changed in years. Mainly because I don’t have any ideas on what else to do with it. I thought of hanging the curtains up higher, and maybe a long shelf further up? Idk, I’m out of ideas. Help! 🩶
I have a bit of a dilemma. I ordered chairs, which are fine, but the table has to be sent back. I like the chairs, so my preference is to keep them. I am eyeing a table, but I am not sure the chairs match.
The chairs are black, with sheepskin throws over them for texture (I added those).
I'm eyeing this table - either in natural or walnut, but I am not sure if they would go with the chairs.
What is your opinion? If not, can you give me some ideas for a table? Thanks!
Hi everyone! My husband and I need help. We have no idea how to tackle our living room. We are thinking to do fluted panels and white decor panel behind the tv. Any recommendations? We have light brown flooring and we will paint the wall light grey. We’d like to put some shelves by the right side as a transition. What design do you guys think will fit our space. By the right side is the dining area.
So far we will:
My questions are:
Thank you!!
I am choosing between a 6”x9” and a 8”x10” for my living room (floor plan attached). The square footage does not reflect some of the square footage lost due to the diagonal corners in one end of the living room. Would an 8x10 be absurdly big for the room?
The bathroom and hallway is white but I live with slobs and they're always touching the walls marks alll over the wall I repaint and repaint because right now I'm just using the cheap glidden brand but the walls turn brown/gray in matter of months
I'm thinking of painting the bathroom a blueish color since the flooring is a blue/gray I would like a darker blue but not too dark
I also want to keep the hallway white, is there stain proof or easy clean paint?
I’m renovating my house and the wall on the left will be removed and I planned on painting the brick on the chimney cause there’s a weird white wash right now. Curious if there other suggestions especially on NOT highlighting the corner of the upstairs room that cuts into the brick. (Yes, I live in a weird multi-split level house? Thanks!!
