Whenever I come to L.A.—in fact, one of the reasons I look forward to doing The Taste—is because as soon as I arrive I'll hit the airport In-N-Out, and on my way out of town, after finishing The Taste, I'll pick up another. Every once in a while I'll even buy a big reeking back of burgers with onions and fries and shakes, and I'll bring 'em back through my very nice hotel lobby, and it's really an amazing thing to see. Generally speaking, when you walk through a lobby of a nice hotel with a big reeking bag of fast-food, people look at you like you're low class, like, 'Why are you bringing that in here? We do have a restaurant.' No, nothing but love and admiration, even from the staff. They're like, 'Good going sir, nicely done sir, excellent!'"

Anyone else have their go-to order stored on their phone for convenient in-restaurant ordering?
Strictly an occasional treat for my 3yo.
Mustard fried with ketchup beats spread, btw.
Hi fellow in n out lovers, looking for some tips on leveling up my in n out game here, as in n out is seriously my favorite restaurant. so far, my standard order is a double double and animal fries. I’m looking for all of your favorite orders, preferably exactly how you ask for them so i know what to say, and how much they cost. i see a bunch of random stuff on here that look so delicious… help me out here, in n out connoisseurs!
Double-double with ketchup and mustard instead of the sauce. Whole grill onion and add pickles. Animal style fries with raw onions. Lessss go!
They made the 3x3 sloppy tn,. But who likes to put sauce and fries on for each bite or am I just fat lol

umm so how do you do two orders on the same order when doing handheld. no one told me and when i asked they made me feel stupid and didn’t explain it at all😭🥲🤣
am i the only one that is actually SUPER bad at drinks 😭 i litterally get snowed so easily and lose track completely … which is weird considering it isn’t even hard
My SM has threatened me with write-up’s multiple times but has never given me one. The first time this happened he threatened/ said he was going to write me up for being late (I no longer come in late) but never did and the second time he was going to write me up for something else that I honestly forgot about. Both times they have threatened to give me a write up and contact hr if this behavior continues. All of these conversations only happen when my DM is there and I know there is some correlation. Any reason why my SM does this?
Except for me. Because cheese fries are great every now and then. In moderation. Cheese fries!
Personally I find it weird when I hear managers that are dating an associate. I’ve heard it’s a common thing that happens but something about it feels off. There’s currently this one person who started dating the 2nd manager after they left, how does something like that even begin? What’s some stories or scandals yall have heard about manager and associate relationships or hookups.
Why is it when people order, they expect their food to be ready in 4 min? I was doing counter handout the other night and I had a guy order two number 1s and kept coming over to me on counter handout 4 min after placing his order demanding that we have it out for him at that moment. He was around order number 65 while we were still on 20s. I kept telling him that we wouldnt have it out for at least 15 min but he kept insisting that i grab a manager. He ended up waiting 40 min lol
Hi all,
Against all odds I have an interview in a couple weeks for an In N Out job; I am beyond scared and terrified. I really didn't think they would give someone like me the time of day. But they did. I'm also relieved and hopeful.
Question: I'm 31, and essentially have no real work experience, so for my app, aside from saying why I wanted to work at In N Out, which I do (I applied online), and so I put that this was my first job, which—I'm paid a wage and I pay taxes, my family and I (my felid) live with bio parents and my bio dad employs me at bio dad's accounting office but the job is an effective sinecure—it is, my question is will the interviewer (I am still rather young looking) see me and think that I'm a loser or that I was somehow being dishonest negatively when i said that this was my first job and they see that I'm older? What kinds of questions do you all think the interviewer will ask me? I'm kind and I smile so no issues there, I just don't want to get fired right away for lying or whatever when the last time I tried, a year ago, applying to jobs, and I gave my utterly nonexistent work history, I never got hired anywhere; so, as far as I see it, I am being utterly honest when I say that this is my first job. I just don't want any awkwardness to ensue if the interviewer tries to challenge me or call me out. Will anyone give advice? I need this. Can give more details if needed about past. Basically was trying to get a four year degree, subsidized by bio parents, from 18 to 26, didn't get that degree, basically in this sinecure since 28.
Apologies for the earlier post, had a really crappy day after getting in a fight with my family and after taking a nap and thinking about the situation I was 100 percent in the wrong.
At the end of the day I was in fact being disruptive and holding up the drive when I could’ve simply just taken my food and been on my way instead of trying to be extra, I did in fact take this way too deep and I apologize to anybody I may have annoyed or offended with my ignorance.
I should know better especially since I work there, I can’t hold up the drive just because I wanna interact with my friends while I’m off the clock.
Appreciate everyone who lowkey opened my eyes to the situation and gave me a different perspective even if I was being stubborn trying to defend my actions.
Note to self, just cashapp the homies next time lol
Sticking to the cut, but craving In-N-Out! Best Macro friendly In-N-Out meals??? Usually I when I eat In-N-Out it’s a cheat day meal and I go all out 4x4 Plain, Double Double Animal Style (No pickles add chillies) Animal fries with Extra chilies and a strawberry shake👌🏾 but that’s not happening so what’s the best thing I can get that’s not just plain meat patties??
I’m sorry I growled at you. I had been driving for 9 hours at that point and was ravenous for my two double meats plain with a dozen spread on the side. When I got to the window and you unfortunately stated “we’re running low on spread, will two packets per burger be okay?” I froze. My mind could not overcome this sudden hurdle placed before it. As the gears of my mind ground together trying to go through the five stages of grief at that drive thru, all I could muster in the moment was a “GGggggRrrrrrrrrrrrr!” The awkward seconds of silence afterward where you glanced back at your co-workers with a puzzled expression were some of the most embarrassing moments of my life. Even though I eventually conceded that two packets would be sufficient, the damage had already been done. To conclude my message, I’m sorry. Sincerely, a customer dining at the Valencia location.
Jokes aside, I know for an indisputable fact I will NEVER make this kind of money in my life
Full order =
20 meat Grilled onions Pickles
I love all you that make this for me! It may be annoying, I assure you that I appreciate it!
Thank you 🙏🏼
It’s been a while since I’ve done it and i just want to get it done swiftly in the morning. Can anyone please just tell me the amount of items that need to be stocked and what’s needs to get stocked please 😊
Just as the title states- Is there an option to do a more well done cook on the patties? How would I order it if so?
Thanks in advance from your fellow In-n-out enthusiast.
