Is it just me or do I feel like we should have got some of Cole's powers for the close legacy dlc
Now I've been questioning this for a while for many years in fact I never got the reason but how come whenever I search up wallpapers for Cole evil karma I look and his Band-Aids on his fingers are normal but in the game when he reaches Max evil karma they're black how come when I search up that they don't show up black they show up normal for infamous 2
Guess zombie demons exist in New Marais lol Worst part is I was playing around 4am 🫠
So I played this game so many times when it came out played through it so many times can't even count how many but even back then I always thought it was weird that reggie is so okay with you becoming evil mainly when he dies he says "I'm so proud of you always have been I love you bro" and now playing it again and seeing reggie gets over you putting your hands on him and threatening to break his face but right after you call him and he gets over it so fast as much as I love this game i feel reggie should have had more disappointment in you maybe when he dies he says something else like in infamous 1 when trish dies she says something like "you are a monster or something been awhile since I played it but would be better if he said something like that so very hard to play evil in this game compared to the other two games let me know if you feel the same as I do or what you make of it
Hey everyone, I'm playing Infamous: Second Son for the first time, and I'm really enjoying it so far. But I’ve hit a bit of a wall. In the first part of town, I could take over a DUP command center and claim territory without too much trouble. Now that I’ve moved into the second part of town, though, the concrete command centers feel like a huge difficulty spike.
It’s gotten to the point where I’m starting to feel discouraged about even continuing. Am I missing something skill-wise, or is it better to just focus on the story and leave some areas under DUP control? How did you all approach this part of the game?
Thanks for any advice!
Should I play Infamous 1 and 2 to understand Festival of Blood?
To get the trophy, do you need to get the good karma opinions in just the story
iF1 - I bought this game in 2019 after winning an amazon gift card in my school. I Platinumed it in 2022. For anyone who still has to beat the game in hard mode, Its not even that different, the only super noticeable difference is the fact that the kessler battle is longer
iF2 - Ive played this game like ever since It released and I platinumed it in 2022, It was super easy in my opinion. I platinumed the game 11 years later mainly because before 2022, I didn’t really care that much about platinum trophies until I saw a bunch of people post about it on the reddit, so I decided to give it a try and I did it with no problems
iF:FOB - Literally the easiest game to get all trophies.
iF:SS - I just recently platinumed this game, I played it for the first time last december. This was my 4th playthrough and I platinumed the game, In my opinion, There was no difference. Expert difficulty isnt super hard at all. The augustine fight wasn’t that hard either
Those….best games I ever played….it hits me deeply. Thanks all developers team who made this game… It’s beautiful. I’ve never worried characters like that before…. I have no words…. Best game ever. Press F for Cole.
I know it's kinda specific question, but I'm making an OC and I want to be 100% sure if this, in theory, could happen.
This Iceberg is Mainly just Theories but starts off with some facts. For the people that do not know how these icebergs work, Basically the Top of the Iceberg is the Facts and or Theories that a lot of players know, and progressively when It goes down, It states the mysterious side of InFamous 1 and 2. It has some unanswered questions and theories.
Some of these theories / Statements are self explanatory but Ill break down some of them.
Are any Dustmen or Reapers still roaming around Empire City? If you really think about it, There had to be alot of survivors in Empire City, its not like the beast destroyed every square inch, I think maybe some of them are possibly still alive.
Does Cole hate trish?? I wouldn’t really say that he hates her, I feel like he is just tired of her always complaining and arguing. But what really makes me think he hates trish is the fact that he tried to leave her in Empire city, Because in the bridge mission, what if Zeke and Cole managed to escape.
What if bertrand succeeded in his mission? As we saw in one of the cutscenes, Cole opened bertrands breifcase and saw that he wanted to start a war throughout other countries. What if Cole never stopped him and Bertrand succeeded?
I thought it'd be fun to share some headcanons about the franchise in general
Cole wears a yellow colored jacket, and he has electricity powers.
There's a real-world product brand called Yellow Jacket that creates electrical products like surge protectors.
Cole is a protector of the people.
Just a really weird coincidence I've noticed xD
even about the second game and second son and festival of blood and First Light, its just so nostalgic and the gameplay is sooo good including the controls, and even the side quests could be fun if you make it fun by what karma playthrough you are doing and the games lighting and placement of the city/cities with the greyness in the sky and just like, doing what you want, if you wanna be down right evil, you can just cause destruction and explosions, or if you wanna do good, you can do good deeds by either killing enemies, or almost kill them and just bind them with electricity, so much variety in what you can do depending on what karma you are going for in your playthough, I would assume you would only have 2 playthroughs because there are 2 endings, good and bad because of your karma.
I tried changing the language of the PS5 system itself- doesn't seem to work.
Any help would be appreciated.
I know multiple conduits can have the same power thanks to the evidence in paper trail, but can a regular prime conduit have more than one power? Or do they need some power sapping ability like Delsin Rowe?
I can’t get past the first two minutes bc when it said I need to swipe my touchpad to enter the shack for an alibi it won’t register my touchpad swipes. Anyone know a fix or workaround for this issue? Much appreciated
This is a very long post, so thank you it you choose to read through it all.
Back again. Want to thank anyone who commented on my last post, however long ago that was. Based on those comments, I had a lot of different RPG systems to look through, and I've decided to go with Mutants and Masterminds. I've played it before, I feel I can explain the system to my players well, and it feels like it will give them the most freedom to let their characters grow however they see fit.
With that update done, admittedly trying to create this game has proven somewhat difficult, between new story, fresh characters, and of course, new powers. But I'll get to all of that in future updates, as I know at least some of you are interested in hearing how this goes, and I will most certainly require advice on certain writing decisions.
The thing I want to bring up in this specific post is about my players attempting to make new characters. Now, we're a group of 4, with 3 of us very well versed in D&D, and one who has picked it up only 4 months ago. We all really enjoy the fantasy aspect, and getting to create fantastical characters in extremely out there settings. In comparison to that, just making an average person who will eventually turn into a super powered badass is enticing, but not as exciting. I've done everything I can to explain the world of inFAMOUS to them, but they're still having trouble with character ideas outside of their powers, of which we've got Water, Sand, and Gravity Conduits.
I want to try making some possible background ideas for them to either take or play off of for their characters, but I wanted to reach out to this community and ask for possible ideas. Gravity has his character idea in mind, and we've talked about what he wants to. We'll talk more through it once I begin to flesh the story out more.
The story so far is taking place in a coastal region, probably Florida to help with Water and Sand having an abundance of their elements available. It's set 2 years after the good ending of Second Son. While Conduits like Delsin Rowe and his friends have made long strides towards finding a balance between humans and Conduits, there will always be those who stand in defiance of "Bio-Terrorists". This is where our players start, on their own journey to either help bridge the gap between the two groups, or show exactly why they'll never stand together. Haven't thought up an over arching narrative yet, but that will be something I dive into once the characters are more thought out and find ways to integrate them from there.
Some possible backgrounds I've thought of so far:
•Coming from a family or group who despises Conduits, possibly with similar ideology, and having to either prove that they aren't so bad or completely turn against them.
•Being apart of a Conduit supremacy cult that "Learned" of The Beast's true intentions and believe he should've wiped out Humanity.
•Being a notorious criminal who, now that they've activated their powers, will either only become more dangerous, or find a change of heart (grasping at straws here, ngl)
•Being closely related to someone in a government position with active beliefs that they're doing some extremely shady.
Not all great, but at the very least could hopefully get some gears turning in their hearts. If you've got any questions, comments, or helpful suggestions, please leave em below. If you've read this far, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to do so. This is a project I really want to come to life, and I happily appreciate any suggestions or criticisms that come my way.
Have a great day!
Well I never got the opportunity to play second son during the ps4 era, but after a lengthy drive and a few hundred quid. That was awful. Felt like it took under 7 hours to Finnish the main story and Jesus that was terrible compared to the first 2 games. Am I missing something? Is there anything I can do to make the game more enjoyable? Not sure if it’s supposed to be a main line game or more of a side game. If the latter is true it’s forgivable, but as a main title infamous game? Yeah no.
I tried to de-rank one of my save slots from Hero to Infamous. I manage to do it around an hour and you automatically unlock the evil karma skills so there's no need to worry about it.
My methods to de-rank were mostly:
- Kill civilians
- Execute enemies
- Doing the Evil Karma graffiti art
- Other red marks associated to get Evil Karma
Basically just killing shit
If i for example want a evil route, do i really need to sacrifice tribe, i really hate how thats even an option from the get go cause from the writing imo it dont seem like thats something delsin would do at the start. cause i want the full bad ending, but i really dont wanna do that first part and have sweet betty hate me. they really shouldve made delsins approach to evil alot more well paced. this goes for all choices, like is there an amount of good choices i can make in bad run to still get the bad ending?
So I just got through the bridge fight before the second district and I'm playing on expert and beat the boss without neon how common is that?
I got all the collectibles and did every mission in the game but I got stuck on the trophy of buying all the powers.. I tried some user created missions by searching for the tag “xp” but every one of them sucks.. What can I do?
Why did Eugene include power sources for delsin in his domain?
Does it follow the rules of boss VS player and that's why they appeared?
His power is limited by gaming and imagination, if he imagines an unfair and impossible game does the rules of his power balance it out?
