I come to Indianapolis once a year for work, usually around December and like to check out any of the breweries that have opened over the last 12 months. Anything worth checking out that has opened it's door in the last year? Thanks!
What are the options to refill or exchange co2 tanks?
I know Great Fermentations is an option, but i haven't had much luck there. They've been out or have been unhelpful. I tried going to Indiana Oxygen but they refused to touch the tanks because it had Great Fermentations painted on it.
I don't know any other option.
i have a bunch of barrel aged stouts from Indiana city and goose island that I would love to see go to a good home, but I don’t know where to look. is there anywhere that this is allowed?
Next Monday I’m driving to Indy (staying in Fishers) from Atlanta and staying for a week. I’d love to try as many different local beers as I can. Would love to hit some breweries and if there are some good bottle shops/ tap rooms (bonus points for a robust section to buy single cans) would love to hit those, too.
Can I get some recommendations, please? TIA
Is anyone else to the point of pulling their hair out when it comes to buying bad beer from liquor stores? Go to even nice craft beer heavy liquor stores at any one time and you could grab an IPA and it could be easily 6 months old.
I love how Covid (when I believe laws were changed) all the sudden allowed the distributors to say IPAs can be 6 months old. Now we have a bunch of really crappy ipas out in the public and the distributors won't buy it back in the liquor stores don't want to get rid of it so they're just holding on to it until they make a sale from someone who made a mistake. Just had to vent. Going to be buying from the breweries exclusively from now I guess
