For me it's Primer or Friend of the World
Some friends of mine worked on this... looks promising.
I know there are some great commenters in this sub that love watching movies and love film awards season. If this sounds like you, consider voting in the ORCA Awards! I'm looking for a small number of cinephiles to round out our first year's membership. All that's required of you is to nominate your favorite non-Oscar nominated films and vote. If you're interested, shoot me a private message to receive a ballot.
Thanks!
Benny
Hi, I am a member the Utah-based art collective Bumpy Soup! We just released our new film Flame of the Void: A Stoner Noir earlier this month, and we’d love any feedback on it! I’m specifically looking for notes on my acting (I play Aqua Supreme), but I’d also love to hear any comments on directing, cinematography, or anything else you liked or disliked!
Bumpy Soup’s Flame of the Void: A Stoner Noir follows Julian Casablancas-obsessed Aqua Supreme as he searches for his precious Voidz lighter. He’ll do anything to find his lighter - whether that’s kidnapping his friends, sending them on vision quests, or restraining them via shibari!
