If you don't know Coach Stephanie, maybe listening to her now as the analyst on ESPN Knicks at Dallas can help to get to know her :)
Would Janiah Barker be a good fit with the Indiana Fever? She plays the same position as Nalyssa Smith and I heard she’s a role player which means she’s probably fine with being the third or fourth option unlike Nalyssa Smith, are there any other prospects that would be a good fit with Indiana?
I came across this piece on the Fansided Indian Fever Report about Janelle Salaun. I have only just started watching her play in the EuroLeague but she looks much more active on defense than Nalyssa or Dantas. She also looks long enough, quick enough and strong enough to keep up with the likes of Stewie, Phee, AT, etc on defense. Having a player like this at PF could be really important because we can then use a more offensive SF (yet who can hold her own on defense), instead of a pure 3&D SF. The SF won't have to work as hard as we made Lexie work last season too.
I'm thinking if the Fever can also sign Maria Conde and draft Sonia Citron (who are both perfect fits on this team at the SF position), it will really improve the Forward rotation to where it needs to be for a contending team.
- Caitlin, Kelsey/Lexie, Maria/Sonia, Janelle, Aliyah.
Even if we are not able to draft Sonia, they could go all out by signing Satou and Maria, then Janelle could provide excellent depth at both forward positions.
- Caitlin, Kelsey/Lexie, Maria/Janelle, Satou/Janelle, Aliyah.

Janelle Salaün: Defensive Activity Highlights (EuroBasket & Euroleague)
Janelle Salaun 24 Points vs Avenida - Euroleague 2024-25
-----
Janelle Salaün is one of the young players currently making a name for herself with her EuroLeague play. Over four EuroLeague games so far, she is averaging 17.8 points on very efficient shooting, 6.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2 steals in her first season with the Italian club Beretta Famila Schio.
At 6’2”, Salaün has great size for a forward and a versatile arsenal. Offensively, she is a true 3-level scorer with both post and guard skills. She has a good handle, which she can use for strong drives to the basket or to bring the ball up the court and push the pace. EuroLeague opponents even double-team her on occasion.
Defensively, Salaün is just as versatile. Her combination of size, speed, athleticism, and IQ allows her to pretty much guard all five positions.
Even though the EuroLeague season is still young, it looks like a coming-out party for Salaün. Her brother, Tidjane, just got drafted into the NBA by the Charlotte Hornets, and Salaün looks ready to make the move to the USA as well.
WNBA fans just witnessed the success young EuroLeague players can find in the U.S. during Leonie Fiebich’s run to a title with the New York Liberty. Fiebich first started the season as a reserve player earning her minutes. By the time the playoffs rolled around, she was a starter on the best team in the WNBA.
Salaün could find similar success in the WNBA, especially with the right team. The Indiana Fever could be just that. They still need forwards next to their big three, and particularly someone who can play defense. Salaün can guard and space the floor, which would allow her to easily fit on the court next to Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston. Clark and Boston need space to work with. Shooting 45.5 percent from three so far, Salaün could provide just that.

Alright. I saw Citron play some lockdown D on Juju today. We might need that. If you could pick up anyone on this list during the draft, who is your first pick? Rank them if you want!
Fever social media going OT with Kelsey content. They should have been doing this earlier. Might have saved KM some grief earlier in the season if fans knew what a great shooting guard CC was about to team up with.
Over one hour of Kelsey Mitchell's highlights from her career as one of the most prolific shooters in the WNBA.
So, I saw a lot of "mock" drafts lately projecting that Ajsa Sivka will be selected by the Fever as the 1st round 8th pick.
Does anyone know ANYTHING about her? It feels like this came out the blue especially since she's from Slovenia but doing a little research, she's 18yo and a SF so she could make a good 3/4.
With Caitlin Clark's breakout rookie season, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell's critical role, the Fever have a solid foundation, but the team feels incomplete. Who are we getting, realistically?
With the Sparks landing the number 2 pick and the presumptive number 2 pick being a PF the Fever should absolutely get on the phone and try and get Hamby.
Why the Sparks would do it:
• Hamby is not on the same timeline as Cam and Rickea
Why the Fever would do it:
• They desperately need a competent PF
As a biased Iowa fan, I would keep an eye on former CC teammate Hannah Stuelke. She runs the floor soooo good (might be the best athlete on the team immediately) and we know cc wants to play fast and Iowa is having Stuelke play the 4 and work on the perimeter more so if she can develop her outside shot she would be a good bench piece to have. She is slighty undersized at only 6’2” so thats why it all hinges on her developing an outside game. Might be a bad biased take but idc
I'll be honest, 2024 is my first season watching the W in a much more fuller way i.e. watching a lot more games, subscribing to the league pass, a lot more interest in the storylines and playoffs, learning the players from across the league.. and I've been observing the off-season a lot and one thing I'm noticing is how professional the staff seem at the Fever organisation.
The Stephanie White introduction presser, I was so pleased with how well that went but even how she, Kelly and Amber spoke about the organisation, the owners, the culture, about Lin Dunn and the wider community/staff there. Also recently Kelly did an interview saying that Indy players that have asked for a trade and received it, have come back to her saying "the grass isn't greener on the other side".
All this to say, I'm wondering if there are any longer standing Fever fans that know of any public issues this franchise has faced similar to what we're seeing with other franchises, issues around player mistreatment or accusations of bullying?
Weird question maybe but just trying to understand if this is a common thing in the W.
So obviously Clark, AB, Lexie, and Kels (core or 1 yr max whichever). I don't think Nalyssa is a good fit, but id rather trade her to get value. I used to think Temi, but now I'm leaning toward Grace.
Grace was solid in college, looks great in Turkey, and would be a good backup at the 1 and 2.
What do you all think?
