University of Washington Huskies (Seattle, WA). For fans of UW football, basketball, and other sports. Go Dawgs!

Seattle local here. I've never sailgated before. No boat, but curious if anyone has taken a kayak out and had a good time on the water mingling with the fans. Worth a shot? Or should I just find a bar?
Michigan fan coming to the game on Saturday, first time visiting and super excited to see a game with y'all.
I tried searching this sub and the stadium website about bringing in seat cushions for the bleachers, only found that you can't bring in ones with pockets, but nothing about the size of what is allowed. The ones I have (linked) are quite bulky even when folded (the pocket is removed). Anyone have recommendations if these are ok or to get something else? I see the team store sells Husky branded ones (fine with me) but not clear if those are available at the stadium or just online?
Thanks for your help, looking forward to the game!
I have a question and please don’t bash me because I have zero knowledge on this at all. I got to university in Canada and I want to come out to the game this weekend. I fully understand that the student section is for students ONLY. But is there a way a non-student can access? Such as a student selling their ticket or a way to just walk in lmao 😂. I understand that there’s probably wrist bands, etc. I’m really only asking out of curiosity but if anyone has any thoughts let me know. (I’ve never been to a college football game in America so again plz don’t bash me 😭)
I have been religiously listening to all the Michigan football podcasts I can over the last week and there is a common thread in them all, they all think that Michigan is better and will win, they suck at passing, and a ot of them are calling Washington their "Bitch Meat". What does that even mean? I think if was a former player who said that and he was pissed and angry over Washington thinking that they had a chance against his Wolverines.
Take that for what you will but I think it is rather insulting to be throwing insults at Washington and that is the kind of perversion I see in the Husky fanbase occasionally and it is a growing contingent. I would advise caution when listening to those guys and stick to what you know. They are all about riling up the opposing fans to get in fights and such. Do not engage, especially on gameday when the Michigan fans will be out in force.
As the season goes along and the struggles present themselves we must stick together as a fan base and hold on to unity so tightly because our resolve will be tested and your temptations will be exercised, but do you fold, we must stay strong because the only way we make it through is growing closer as a fanbase.
Unfortunately Jalen McMillan and Devin Culp are out.
Bought 2 tickets off stubhub, and coming down from Canada.
When I open my tickets in stubhub it directs me to a PDF of 2 QR code tickets. Has anyone ever received tickets in PDF format before for the Huskies?
I got them for a very good price which scares me a bit. If anyone’s had experience here it’d be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Looking for recommendations for fun bars in Manhattan that would be a good place to watch this weekends game!
I used to tailgate regularly but that was 15+ years ago. Got an E1 RV parking pass and gonna tailgate for the Michigan game.
Question - are propane grills allowed? I know charcoal is but wanted to know if they ban propane.
Yea, I could call the ticket office but feel like I'll get more information on enforcement as maybe the parking folks are relaxed on propane.
Thanks in advance!
Going in to this game it is obvious that this game is the hardest challenge of the season were the balance of the season hinges upon.
So how do the matchups look?
When UW is on defense:
*UM Offensive line vs uw : advantage michigan by alot, this is the best line we have or will face in a week..
michigan rbs and qb vs uw linebackers: advantage - tie due to how inept their qb is.
michigan qb and wr vs uw dbs: advantage michigan, lets face it uw is good here, michigan is terrible.
special teams: advantage michigan big time for obvious reasons.
When uw is on offense:
*Uw OL vs mich DL: big advantage michigan here
*Uw rb and qb vs michigan lbs: advantage UW
*uw wrs vs michigan dbs: tie due to home team.
Intangibles and coaching: favors uw being a home game, long travel for um, and this being michigans first road game at a wierd day and time. Coaching is a tie. Crowd noise will make a difference, uw rarely loses big games at home
Overall the matchups point to a michigan win but the intangibles over come that for a slight uw win.
Prediction: UW 20-17
Justification: a one dimensional team in a hostile environment is a tall order. This will be a slog of a game like maybe 10-3 at the half, passing will need to set up the run for uw. Rogers gets hurt late.

Away Team: | #10 Michigan (4-1, 2-0 Conf) |

GO DAWGS!
I know this is a long shot, but I will be in the UK on game day and I'm looking for a place to watch the Michigan game with some fellow Dawg fans in Edinburgh. Throwing a Hail Mary!
This is my first time going to a Huskies game and I'm trying to figure out where to tailgate or pregame that would be fun. Some of my friends are sailgating but that is a bit out of my price range. Is The Zone fun? That's the only spot I've heard of so far.
Hi
This is my first college football game coming from Vancouver Canada, what pre-game activities are worth checking out inc. tailgating?
Thanks in advance
When buying/selling tickets strongly consider the following:
I think it's so weird many (not all) people in here are suddenly rooting for KDB and Alabama? The dude constantly said his own kid's dream school was UW and wouldn't leave until after she graduates, then bolts at the next opportunity. He gets the job in Alabama and then doesn't thank anyone in Seattle during his introductory press conference. Oh yeah, and his recruiting was an absolute joke and a tragedy on so many levels. You can try to change my mind and downvote me all you want, I couldn't care less, but there is not a single person I despise in college football more than this guy. He's a despicable human being. I'm gonna be rooting against him and his team every single game. Imagine you've been dating someone you love for years and all of a sudden they leave you because they found someone else who's "better." There's no way you'd be happy in that scenario right? Just my opinion.
*People saying anyone would have taken that job because it's Alabama. Well, two points. First, if someone told me they would rather live in fucking Alabama than Seattle I would laugh in their face. Second, literally Dan Lanning did not do it.
Last night was frustrating. And yes, the team is committing too many mistakes/penalties at especially ill-timed moments.
But y'all should turn on the Iowa State - Houston or Illinois - Penn State games.
There are flubbed snaps, missed FGs, ridiculous penalties, penalties that are sort of right but maddening none the less (intentional grounding when both receivers fell), etc.
It makes me feel slightly better that we aren't the only ones with issues.
Hey y’all, Canadian coming down for the Michigan game on Saturday night. Just wanted to post in here and see if anyone’s got any advice to help make the gameday experience a little more fun! Coming down with two of my buddies and just looking to get the full husky experience!
It’s barely the 2nd quarter.
It’s really, really hard not to think that this is what we could have had if DeBoer stayed.
Somebody talk me off the ledge, please.
I hate deboer so much. That is all. Not a great weekend of CFB for huskies fans
The Good
The Bad
The Ugly
At the end of the day, UW is .500 in conference and has lost two games on the last plays of said games. The season isn't over, Michigan looked ugly today. Somehow, their first road game of the season will be at Husky Stadium next week. How is that even possible?
Both teams UW lost to are undefeated. Rutgers has a soft conference schedule and could win 9 games. We will know more about WSU after tonight, but they avoided a classic coug it last week at home. It's not inconceivable both teams end up ranked.
I don't see a single team on the schedule that I think, "wow, UW is going to get blown out". If, and it's a big if, the self inflicted wounds can get mitigated to a decent degree - UW should be able to get some wins.
A win at home against Michigan, and the team is sitting at 4-2, just like DeBoer's 2022 squad was. From there the season will still be really interesting.
Lose to a one-dimensional Michigan, and I don't see too many more W's on the schedule.
