Is not Beyond's son, as many speculate, but his brother!?
It is known that Beyond was plotting against his father for decades. What if Isaac Netero was also actively trying to sabotage his efforts, learned of his plans in the Kakin empire, and and Terror Sandwich is one of his counter moves against Beyond's plan?
Far fetched I know, but within the realm of something Togashi could pull. It's hard to believe Netero was passive to his son's plotting, and I imagine this is the sort of fucked up thing Netero could do.
PS: posted this earlier but was deleted bc no spoiler tags.
Now that the narrative is focusing more on the Phantom Troupe, I have so much thoughts on what role Morena will play in the future of this arc. The only thing that makes sense to me now with Hisoka being on tier one is Morena infecting Hisoka. Not only does it make the most sense from a tactical stand point, its the only way Hisoka legitimately stands a chance if he were to survive the Phantom Troupe imo. I believe once the Phantom Troupe starts massacring's her followers it will make sense for Hisoka to seek the Heily members out. Maybe he gets in contact with Dogman, herself, or maybe even a different follower, and allys with the Heily in order to get some of the troupe members. I also feel Morena needs someone close to Tsnernicth, and being that Hisoka knows Kurapika I think its an easy connection to somehow get all players involved.
Plus I believe if Hisoka does get infected, and in theory develops a new Hatsu his nature, he would seek out Beyond, and imo could pose a legitimate threat to Beyond who wants to do whatever he wants. This ties into the overall theme of Hunter X Hunter and I think brings it full circle as Hisoka had wanted to fight Netero. This isn't fully fleshed out, but I wanted to get peoples thoughts on a potential relationship between Morena and Hisoka.
It's simple. Let's ignore the weeds and say Hisoka was always able to create prosthetic parts. What remains is the fact that Hisoka is clearly more skillful. When he was trying to use bungee gum with missing limbs, he noted that he couldn't make "precise nen manipulations" with them and instead used the limbs that were intact. These precise nen manipulations? Simply creating bungee gum and extending it. Not even shaping it, just extending bungee gum to the ceiling. After his death, he makes prosthetics with mangled limbs, and I think it's fair to say these prosthetics are much more "precise nen manipulations" given that their shape is drastically more intricate.
Could he now extend a bungee gum to the ceiling with a blown off limb? I think so. In fact, because the ends of these limbs are purely aura, we can assume any abilities channeled through them are ultimately shaped and formed by the mangled ends, which is to say that when Hisoka extends bungee gum from his hands to bind Machi's legs, he's ultimately doing that with a blown off hand as well. Relatedly, he made these prosthetics instantly. Even faster if we ignore the step of using texture surprise, because the aura itself must provide 100% of the functionality given that texture surpise is for appearances. If he could do this before, specifically at these speeds, he would've realistically restored his left hand while fighting Chrolla and perhaps would've won since missing limbs played a big part in his loss.
I love her (design)
I imagine that everyone would like a meeting to take place on the ship between some members of the Ryodan and Kurapika.
Which meeting are you most looking forward to?
As far as I'm concerned, Nobunaga and Kurapika should meet face to face. Unfinished business.
Invitation for HXH Online Conference hi, I'm a Chinese HXH fan, and I've been doing some analysis on my own since I find HXH's narratives to be quite distinctive. There are some interesting things that I've discovered in my research on manga that I don't think have been discovered yet on English forums like fandom or reddit. Western fans are not very good at researching Japanese materials, and similarly, Eastern fans rarely discuss them on English coomunity. I have already shared it in domestic communities, and the video has probably received tens of thousands of clicks, so I am here to share it for more peer review. I'd be happy to do an English presentation using online conferencing software like VooVMeeting or zoom. however

Mineral Mimics
Crystalline creatures that can perfectly replicate any mineral formation. They often position themselves near valuable resources like the Jadeite Teardrops, copying their appearance but releasing deadly toxins instead of purifying waters. They've evolved specifically to prey on creatures seeking healing minerals.
Echo Locusts
Swarms that travel by riding sound waves. They're particularly drawn to the sonic booms created by Ultrasonic Tigers, following in their wake to scavenge. They can amplify and redirect sound, sometimes creating devastating sonic cascades that can shatter stone.
Dream Leeches
Parasites that attach themselves to sleeping creatures, particularly dangerous to intelligent species like the Baselard Crocodiles. They feed not on blood but on dreams and memories, leaving their hosts with gaps in their knowledge. Some theorize this might explain why the Baselard Crocodiles' understanding of Nen remains limited.
What the title says
In the manga, Adult Gon is compared to Meruem and is implied to be the form he will achieve if he trains hard for years. Some believe Adult Gon will never achieve this power naturally, while others believe he will. Togashi left it unanswered.
Meruem was described in the manga as the pinnacle of evolution, the best of the best among Chimera ants. Something no human can hope to achieve. However, in the same manga, it is implied that Adult Gon could be as powerful as Meruem.
Gon is one of the humans with the most potential, with a talent rating of 1/100 million. In terms of potential and aura, one could argue that he is 1/billion. But my question is this. How can he or any human possibly reach the level of Meruem, the apex of Chimera ants who are far superior to humans?
From what I understand in the latest chapter, when Halkenburg tested the death of swapped bodies, there are two outcomes :
I also think Halkenburg tested the hypothesis about swapping minds or souls before ordering Sumidori (in Shikaku’s body) to commit suicide. Is it correct to assume this?
I think Kaiser is Pariston. That's it. That's my theory.
Kaiser might pull a Keyser Soze.
Good night.
My personal favorite is hanzo vs gon in 1999 version. It’s so satisfying seeing hanzo just play with gon knowing he’s superior and faster. The animation is insanely and the storytelling is great. Like when hanzo slaps gons brain stem, and you can see gon slightly pass out and hanzo forces him to wake up. When I found out that the guy who made this animated gaara vs rock Lee it made a lot more sense. Also the score that was played was so good. I think it was done dirty in the 2011 version
If you had the chance to be a character from HXH what do you choose, personally illumi.. He is cunty and chill
From what I understand, Halk's plan revolves around giving Balsamilco's body a sedative just before his OG body dies so he gets soul stays 10 more hours into his dead body, so during the funeral he can make a big move to secure the throne which involves Benjamin.
He has tested his ability and the effect of death on the swapped bodies and soul throughly
He didn't expect himself to be the guy that got swapped cause his ability is random, but he says he has calculated for this option. And he planned to act at his own funeral, as he had requests put forward in case of his death
My questions are:
since he had the funeral requests planned ahead, did his plan revolve on him poisoning himself anyway and tell Benjamin that his arrow missed as balsamilco? How would that work if he wasn't the one getting swapped?
Benjamin isn't an idiot, he knows it's a manipulator ability, the rumbling gave away that he used his ability while Balsamilco was going to him, so Benjamin correctly assess the situation and acts accordingly.
So, did Halk want him to know? why send the guy to shoot himself in public if not. Cause now to MAYBE convince Ben of Balsa's loyalty he has to sacrifice his own body and even then, Ben could still thinks this is all too convenient.
Halk says the soul can win without the body, but how does he know? What happens when his body gets brought to that black chamber we saw with the coffins? Does that not work cause the soul is out and about? Does that mean Kacho is still a candidate?
assuming his "big move" involves using his Captain Ginyu ability during the funeral, it is still random who of the marked followers gets swapped. How is he getting out of this?
if Halk's followers all die, can he swap from body to body with his arrows indefinitely?
we still don't know what Ben GSB does. As the princes beast that have similar features often have similar powers I imagine this is also an enhancer ability that acts on groups. Has Halk really planned for what Ben GSB can do? Is his GSB with him when he swaps?
Anyway let me know your speculation if you have any. This arc is amazing imho.
Benjamin is NOT Beyond Netero’s child… Balsamilco is!!!
I think we all understand, Halkenberg’s scheme will fail and his soul will be subdued.
But I think, at some point further down the line, Beyond will activate his curse to manipulate all of his children/ steal the succession war/ kill all the contestants.
(It will be revealed that the curses are tied to the souls of Beyond’s children, maybe at some fractional cost to his own power, which is why they cannot be removed via normal means.)
Balsamilco will either intentionally subdue his own curse, and accidentally his own soul. Or Benjamin’s GSB will automatically do that for him by removing his curse but also his linked soul.
In each scenario, Halkenberg’s dormant soul will awaken, and he will ultimately win/end the succession war.
Plus if Halkenberg wins as Balsamilco that leaves room for Wobel to survive and ultimately “win” the Succession War while maintaining innocence.
I recently observed that the lower princes have more active spirit beasts. Momose's beast became active immediately. Maryam's beast is actively protecting the room. I assume the early deaths in Woble's room were from his beast. Fugetsu and Kachos beasts are also active. Halkenburg's beast is probably the most active in the contest granting him a full fledged nen ability.
But now as we move up we see more conditional and passive abilities although they maybe just because the earlier princes have more avenues fir the war and are less reliant on the beasts.
One case I consider is Tserridnich who has a very conditional beast that is not very practical for this war but he is a very gifted nen user.
I think that the guardian spirit beasts are actively balancing the succession war.
Sorry if this has been asked before, I’m new to Reddit and really loving being part of the HxH community. I guess Illumi is a manipulator but you don’t really see him do battle and would be an interesting match up, especially when hisoka jokes about killing Killua, he looses his shit lol
If i am not wrong Kurapika uses contact lenses to hide his ayes when they turn scarlet but I was wondering how his eyes look when they are not scarlet, what color are they??
Dark Continent is an exception, but main earth. The point of Netero's character is that he was so strong no one stood a chance against him until Meruem was born (except maybe Maha). Not to mention that Netero started to act soft because he thought his opponents were too weak. Netero has been described as a being who transcended the limitation of a human's potential, and his battle "heart" shirt, wore only when he engaged in a real fight, was so rare to be seen that it became a rumor.
But Netero said he was no longer the strongest and only had half of his power!
That's the same Netero who said he was only as powerful as Morel and Knov, and before the invasion, Netero trained and meditated himself until he pretty much regained his prime strength (Chapter 205).
This means that whether old or young, Netero was still the strongest. This also means that Netero, in his prime, would do no jackshit to Meruem, and the result of the fight would be the same.
And yes, this means that Netero is very much stronger than Ging.
