Hey! I'm looking to critique some of y'all's mixes and maybe send y'all samples of how I can make it sound better! I'm a recording engineer in Houston looking to meet artists here.
Can anyone recommend some good Houston/Bay Area collab songs? I always felt like the two areas were kind of similar. I guess it's from all the old Murder Dog magazines. The best ones I can think of are E-40's but I must have missed some. Bay Area albums are even occasionally released with slowed/chopped versions.
I used to jam a song/ freestyle that featured Z-ro. On the outro he said “gangstas can’t scoot and shoot” any know the song? I been looking for years.

I put a lot of time and research into creating this playlist. It is made up of the best underground G funk songs and Southern G-Funk (but also a bit of Mobb music and Chicano). Some albums are better known than others, but overall there are a lot of albums and songs that are underground, or even little known. I update it fairly regularly. Enjoy. If you have any suggestions on albums or song to add, please tell me !
