Looking to start a housing co-op in Bristol/Bath (UK)

Hi, I'm looking for interested people to start a housing co-op in or around Bristol or Bath. Housing availability and prices around here are just crazy, a co-op could potentially be a way to sort out somewhere decent to live at a price that is affordable. I've been looking at different models and opportunities and definitely think it is feasible, if anyone is interested in exploring the idea further just give me a shout.

Landlord Suggested Rental Assistance, We We're Approved Through the Program they Suggested, Now They Refuse to Accept The Rent Relief Payment…what can I do now?

I don’t know what to do. Our apartment said they would work with us and offered us a paper with rental assistance programs that could help. We got approved and thought we were in the clear but now the apartment is saying they won't sign their end of the paperwork with the rental assistance program THEY SUGGESTED. In fact they sent a very informal email stating….. “At this time our policy for rental assistance states that you had to apply before we filed the dispossessory. If at any time that policy changes I will let you know.”…….. I’ve been very communicative with her as she has been as well up until now. Any suggestions on how I can get around this since it was never mentioned over the past 3 months?
