Tires?

I'm going to be replacing the stock tires on my 24 grom this year. I have it narrowed down to these tires.

Dunlap d604 Michelin city grip Shinko 723 Whitewall

Which would you choose?

Pic for attention

I will never understand people who torque shit down to a million fps

Working on a used grom i bought. Need to take the front wheel off and this fucking bolt will not move. It's literally bending everything with it as I'm standing on my tool trying to get it off. Why do that to yourself? Was he planning on never ever taking the front tire off again? Makes 0 sense and pisses people off . Any advice would be welcome. Ive hit it with heat for 30 seconds might try that again

Hot take: Your first mod should be… adjustable levers!

Picked up my new Grom today and rode 40 miles back home. I bought a few accessories prior to getting the bike, cargo rack, under cowl, hand guards, levers.

A lot of those are nice to haves, but after riding the bike back home I have to say adjustable levers are really a necessity. I hated the stock levers. The clutch in particular was way too far out, I could barely grip it with my fingertips, and had an awkward bend that was hard for 4 fingers. Moreover, the friction zone was so far out, making easing the clutch very difficult.

Looking forward to adding new, adjustable levers - standard length clutch and shorty brake.

Anyways, that’s my $0.02 after a first ride home. S

Want to get a grom, are there any different fuel tank fairings for 3rd gen?

So I’ve been looking into getting a grom and I was able to take a seat on some of the 3rd gen groms today. The issue I’m running into with them is the leg cutouts just well, don’t fit my legs at all. I am on the tall side (6’3”) and to have my legs fit properly into the leg cutouts I need to sit on the back of the bike which definitely does not feel right. I’ve yet to be able to sit on a older gen grom but from what I can tell by the photos of it I think I’d be able to sit farther forward on it without those dumb cutouts in the fairings. Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?

2020 Grom Chain links

I bought a chain that had 106 links and it's just barely too short to connect it. Should I adjust the rear wheel forward or buy 108 link chain?

My current chain I counted 107 links but it was really loose.

First time grom owner, bought it used of course.

Rear Brake no pressure

I upgraded my 2015 Grom with new Brembos (Hard Racing Kit) for both front and rear. Front works fine, but my rear holds no pressure. If I pump it a few times, it gets pressure for a bit before losing it all eventually. I can bottom the entire pedal out no problem, and when I'm bleeding it fluid goes through fine and the pedal gains pressure as I'm bleeding.

Left my 2015 Grom in the sun for 2hrs, now dash looks washed out?

So I recently bought a used Honda Grom 2015. The dash worked perfectly when I got it. For the first few weeks I always left it in the garage after riding so it never saw any sunlight. But last week I left it outside for 2hrs in a parking lot and came back to see the dash looking like it received sun damage. Now the middle part of the dash seems to be permanently fading.

I tried searching this on the internet but have found nothing about this. Did I miss the memo on some sort of common sense that you’re not supposed to leave your bike with an LCD dash out in the sun?

Grom seems a bit slower than usual but seems to work perfectly fine, advice?

I have a 2019 SF I bought from new it only has 5k miles on it, I've serviced it myself every 1k after the first dealer service at 600miles.

I don't know if it's just because I don't ride much and have just went through my full UK licence. But I remember it used to get to an "indicated" 60mph no problem now it seems like 50-55 is becoming the top end unless I'm going down hill.

I don't stunt it or anything, standard gearing but on a new chain, is the clutch fucked?

Can cheap exhausts harm your bike?

Ok, don't rag on me too hard. I don't know anything about this type of stuff (clearly). I want to put an exhaust on my grom, but I don't want to spend much since it's just kind of a "knockaround" bike for me. Do cheap exhausts harm your bike in any way? Thinking of going with something like an Istunt or something similar. Thanks in advance!

2017 SF blinking constantly

So i bought this bike as a project some time ago, and i just recently got onto the lights etc.

The right blinker is constantly turned on, and if i press the button to ACTUALLY blink right, it then stops. And the left blinker doesnt do anything at all. I have installed a new wire harness, checked all wires from the switch all the way down to the relay, and all wires are intact. furthermore, the switch itself has been cleaned and checked over. removing relay doesnt work. I am so lost at this point, any help is appreciated.

Wa , Tacoma/Seattle/Olympia/Renton looking to do a grom meet this spring?…

Hey I’m ForecfulEnemy!! a 23’ grom rider. Anyone is Washington with a grom or any motorcycle small and legal.. Are welcome to gather and gas up for a cruise. The idea is to all meet at a place called Taco Street, near Ruston way. Then head downtown Seattle and coast through the town. I understand and will be trying hard to make this ride worth it and ez for smaller bikes not meant for all routes. I’m Not in a rush to go 😅 but definitely waiting for the warmth. U can message me for any questions or info like date n time

New to groms brand question

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a 25 SP in a few weeks, I have a 2019 z125pro and a z650, going to mod this bike a lot. For the Z, TBParts is one of the main bbk's, but im seeing a lot of people here use DHM. For the 149cc bbk, what brand is more reliable/better? Or is it a case of "they are extremely similar, just pick one and stick with it."? Thanks

Dealer fees

One of the motorcycle dealers in my area for new 2025 Grom MSRP tackle on $300 extra for transportation to dealership and over $650 for "assembly/preparation". Is that reasonable? That seems to make like 25% of the price before taxes and registration fees.

Rear Tail Light Cowl/Cover

So I looped my bike as most grom riders do and i’m getting a new tail light, I also messed up the cowl cover thing that goes around it for like protection or something. I’m looking to get a new one from ebay because they are cheap and I can only find 2nd gen cowl cover things. Do yall know if they are interchangeable between 1st and 2nd or do I HAVE to get the 1st gen.

Steering Stem Nut

Hey guys! So I wanna install a stem mount on my '24. Problem is the nut is solid. I heard you can just get a nut from a '22 or '23 but I contacted my local Honda dealership and they said they couldn't get one until April. Does anyone have any recommendations on any alternatives?
