Any suggestions on parts to upgrade or replace? I would like to keep a factory look.
I'm looking to lighten the weight on the trigger on my SA-35. Does anyone have any recommendations? Not looking for hair-trigger, but maybe halving it or something closer to the 2 lb. mark
Finally decided to pull the trigger on the girsan p35 as a range toy, so far so good
After just shy of 1,000 problem free rounds I've concluded I need some thinner grips for my SA35 (serial 42XXX for those that are curious) - particularly where my trigger finger is placed at the top. Anyone had any luck finding something like this?
Other than that, this thing runs like a scalded ape.
Hey all I was hoping to get some advice for looking at my first “hipower” I am stuck between a girsan p35 or a Springfield sa-35. I’m curious if the sa-35 is worth the extra $100 and if the extractor issues were fixed.
Update: Went ahead and ordered the Girsan, thanks everyone for all the advice! I’ll spend the extra $100 on ammo
Galco just announced a nice looking Avenger style holster. I was excited, until I saw the price tag… $249. Dang.
I got a nice Privateer Leather pancake for $100 recently.
Anyone ever heard of them? I have one aluminum frame from over 10 years ago .... was wondering what ever happened to them.
From a recent email.
1972 Belgian made. Saw it in the shop and jumped on it
Hi all. I recently removed the magazine safety from my FEG P9M and am now left with a dead trigger. Any advice or suggestions on what to look for within the trigger group to fix the issue? Thank you all for your time.
In case you didn't know, DK Firearms has an unissued batch of the HP-DA / BDA-9's in full size and compact, DA/SA and DAO.
Added one of the full size DA/SA's to the collection - should be here next week. It'll join the 1960's BHP, a FEG clone, an SA-35 and a Girsan in the ranks as part of the BHP family.
Any pointers to extra mags for these are appreciated and I'm looking forward to what's described as a hangun that feels like it was built for military use, not civilian carry.

This is the website I have for the baseplates I will be selling for those who are interested. The site is still incomplete and many things about it may change. Things are starting to move faster and I have my first order for parts on the way, once they arrive I will update the site and photos. Those who'd like to be more in the loop and receive email notifications about news can create an account to stay up to date on the progress. If you guys have any questions about the products please reach out to me via email (promethean.tactical@outlook.com) and I will get back to you as quick as possible. Id like to stress I am a one man operation right now and will be for some time, I'm very excited to be offering these soon! also please read the terms of service and state restrictions on these, If you live in a ban state I may not be able to accommodate sales in your area for the time being just do to lack of ability to know the specifics of each and every area.
TL:DR-The website for all of the baseplates I have been posting is now live, its i still very bare bones and is missing a lot. Go check it out!
So I'm working on a collection of different branded Hi Powers. And I currently have a Browning Hi Power, a FN Hi Power, a FM Hi Power, a FEG Hi Power, a Kareen Hi Power, a Mauser Hi Power, a Luger Hi Power, 2 Tisas Hi Powers, an Arcus Hi Power, a Charles Daly Hi Power, 2 Girsan Hi Powers, a Springfield Hi Power, and a Silver Eagle Hi Power.
Brands I know of and don't have are Inglis, Indian Ordinance, Baford Arms. Now aside from the ones I've mention what other brands are out there? Is that it? I know there are different variants under the same brand and I plan on working to acquire those but its the different branded ones I'm asking about.
Have had an empty space in my safe reserved for a Hi Power and finally decided to get one. Being new to them, I didn’t know how to quickly tell the difference between the alloy frame and the steel frame. I actually wanted the steel frame variant, but the alloy frame that came instead is ridiculously light. Then I decided to order another one with a steel frame for comparison. I love them both.
Was able to add this 1973 Belgium made Browning Hi power 9mm to my collection yesterday. Has been on my want list since I was a teenager, and now in my late 30’s, couldn’t pass this up for just north of $800. Debating on changing the grips back to more factory style ones, but these Hogues do feel great in my hand.
