"Heavy" art: imagery, film, music, poetry, whatever.
The definition for "heavy" is entirely up for interpretation; still, let's please keep the kaleidoscopes, "trippy" GIFs and notebook doodles to a minimum.
Try to include all relevant information you can find in your title: Artist, title, creation date, medium, etc. If it is your work then add an "[OC]" tag.
Try to avoid reposts. Proper titles really help to do this. Posts over six months in age are fine to repost.
Try to find the highest resolution/quality version of the piece you want to submit.
Check out the top submissions for inspiration.
Upvote if it looks good, downvote if it doesn't! Remember, this is a subreddit for quality content.
If you post a .gif with flashing imagery please include the tag [EPILEPSY] in the title or it may be removed.
No linking to full tumblr blogs, instagram, webstores/websites, etc. If you must, include it as an additional comment after your submission.
Art Commissions are better submitted to /r/designjobs, but we understand why you are here. We try hard to fairly police the quality of the sub; currently most requests are allowed for 24 hours.
The goal here is to capture the darker side, the no limit to the possibilities side... the going completely out of your mind side.
Thought provoking, rich in symbolism.
Heavy.
