Fill in the blank I don’t always listen to nu metal but when I do…..it has to be________.
I'm the only member, a vocalist. I live in New Jersey in the USA, and I have never run into or even had the chance to try and make something with someone because there is nobody lol. I have literally everything though, such as:
Music and songs (around 40 songs with all the lyrics and beats and riffs and rhythms, etc.) and still making more song titles and lyrics as well.
Band name, logo, and concept sound/idea
Vocals (me)
So, I pretty much need everything else that consists of a band in terms of members. I'd like to try and make my own music with some sort of software to at least try and "realize" the sound and then sing over it, but I don't really know of anything like that that's free... or at least somewhat inexpensive. I have a Windows computer, so garage band (if that's even around anymore, idk) is out of the question, unless there is a way to download like, a software file for it that is safe for Windows, something like that.
Thanks for reading if you made it this far, all ideas are welcomed with an open mind, because at this point, I'm willing to try anything besides learn the instruments; I just don't have the time or money to do something like that.
Ive been looking for this band all day and all i found was chthonic and they do sound a little similar i think but im not sure Chthonic is way more black metal and intense but they both use traditional asian instruments like the voilin sounding one.
They both also sing about war history but chthonic is taiwanese and im sure this other band was like korean Even have similar looking music videos and female members in band but im sure its not the same band.
I remember the band im looking for had a more forlorn gothy type vibe and the album covers had like a ship on or birds or a rose that type of stuff not chthonic which is way violent with contorted hands or people hanging from trees
But yeah i think they are close one might even have inspired the other

The band was also not a protest band or as political as chthonic seems to be
I want to say it starts with a k but if thats not right i hope that doesnt throw anyone off
1988 Instrumental Jam
It's the new Freakwizard single! Gitcha some QueensOfTheStoneAge mixed with Queen! Right here... right!!
Thought I lost this. Found it in the bottom of an old back pack. I barely remember this show I was so trashed but I got this and an augury touque.
Hi all, I’m looking for more songs that could sound like what I call “synth metal” or “synth hard rock”, for example:
So like 80s songs with a drivy almost “disco-ish” beat followed by synths? Is there a name for this already?
Planning on playing something next year as a going out with a boom in my school as im strarting a new school lol, so what are some fairly simple but cool songs able to be played by 1 guitarist (me) and one drummer (my friend) Might also have a bassist but he hasnt thought it out yet. I have half a year left
open to any subgenres and band except never ever mention van halen or pantera
some examples of ones that are good:
into the void - black sabbath
cassie eats cockroaches - acid bath
revolve - melvins
wherever i may roam - metallica
delusions of saviour - slayer
dissident aggressor - slayer
anything with a rhythm and riffs is great
thanks :)
I (21m) play in a sludge metal band and we play all around Austin, Texas and the neighboring cities. The snag(s) that I’ve been having a hard time with is the scene I’m in, It’s predominantly hardcore, which we used to thrive in, but most of the people in it suck and we’ve been outcast from it.
It’s mostly high schoolers and young adults, either in bands or come to see said bands, who let really terrible people slip under the radar. Some of these bands have a controversial reputation amongst their crowd, they treat other people like vermin and their fans don’t feel safe at their shows.
It feels like a popularity contest most of the time and not about the actual music and community.
My band used to be cool with a lot of the HXC peoples but then they turned their backs on us and other bands around Texas have been outcasted by ours and their HXC scenes as well. We found out there were unfound claims and accusations with no real proof in circulation.
We were confused as to why so I’ve tried talking to a few trusted people within that scene to try and solve this issue but the answers I always get is,
“they’re non confrontational, just ignore them” “they do this all the time, this whole thing will blow over” “I’m sorry man, people suck”
I’m kinda scared to go out to shows and support my favorite bands because the metal crowd blends with the HXC crowd and it’s tension all around. My band’s shows have been scarce now and it sucks because we used to pack venues and diy shows, now it’s few and far between.
Any help and advice is welcomed, dm me if needed.
