I usually do real estate photography, but recently I was asked to headshots. I'm inexperienced with it. Could I have some feedback on these headshots?

I recently tried headshotpro.io and my results were amazing. Has anyone else tried AI headshots and do you think it's a good product? I hear a lot of negativity around AI but I think for a specific usecase like quick + budget friendly headshots it actually makes sense.
Taking acting headshots next month. Which backdrop color is best, white, black or gray? I’ve got a light skin tone, blue eyes and brown/slightly auburn hair if that helps.
I’m not very happy with the editing on my headshots, you can see the editing and it isn’t blended well and one of my birthmarks have been removed, is it wrong of me to edit the original?
Greetings, I'm a poet that needs a great headshot. $500 is my budget. Thank you.
i recently joined an acting academy and i'm serious about making this my career. should i wait until ive attended more classes before getting headshots, or get them done asap? also my hair has unnatural colours in it. should i dye it back to normal?
I’ve just started Acting classes again after a year hiatus (I lost my job so couldn’t fund classes), got a flexible evening job and I feel like I’m now in a position to make a start to a proper film acting career.
I’ve been referred to a photographer by one of my classmates, very nice photos and is very personality based result-wise, but his fee is £500.
Obviously it’s always better to spend the extra for better quality, but, at the same time I haven’t got an eye for what I want just yet and I’m worried I would pay all this money for headshots that could possibly not reflect me in the future. Would this be a good beginner move or should I look elsewhere?
I saw the post about headshot FAQs, but I think my question is really specific. I wanted to do headshots asap and put it on my backstage account so I can start working on projects in my area. Right now, I've stuck with student films in my university since they don't really ask for headshots but I want to expand more and having the headshot may potentially help.
The reason I ask is because I (22F) am just getting my acting career started (I have a bachelors and completing a masters in STEM/Eng field for another year, but this is me following what I want to do for so long so I'm really trying to dive in asap so I do have a demo reel and all that). I just started voice lessons, dance, and acting (film and scene study). I want to dive right in but I don't want to spend $500 on headshots and not actually have enough experience. I do plan to do a movement class and improvisation technique hopefully if theyre offered in my area and not crazy expensive.
Should I just go for it or could I just do a home headshot (still with good lighting and all for Backstage)? I wasn't sure if backstage was very strict about having a headshot or if it matters. If I do, should I do like 1 close up regular headshot, two that are some kind of happy face or a specific expression i(f someone could maybe drop in the comments) and then one headshot that is waist up? Or should I just do one headshot and thats it knowing 1 is going to be like $300? Thank you!
On instagram I found a few. Any feedback or experience with Michael Roud?
I know others have mentioned this but how do you go about finding your type? How do you show the different “types” in each look? Any advice Appreciated
does anyone know how to get headshots done for cheap or would anyone in Los Angeles be willing to take them for a decent price?
Hello everyone. I hope this message will not be considered as spam, it is really not intended to be, far from it.
I'm Juanma Fernández, a professional actor from Spain.
I'm looking for unknown people to give me a hand by filling out an anonymous Google Forms survey (no need to send an email). The goal is to collect the maximum number of answers to be able to find my actor's type, the one in which people see I really fit, and the more answers I get, the more I can draw the line to follow.
It only takes 5 minutes, you just have to check some boxes according to what some images of me transmit to you and, at most, a comment at the end if you feel like it.

And if not, sorry for the inconvenience, really, I will appreciate that you have read me and I will take the gesture very much into account. A thousand thanks and a hug 💜.
My CTO needs to take headshots for our website! We don't have a huge budget. She's in the Boston, MA area. Help!
Has anybody else had this challenge before? I'm realizing most headshot printing places are not open on Sundays, but I need to get one printed for an audition later today. Anybody have any leads on this?
Hi! Does anyone have recommendations for photographers in Florida or Georgia? I'm willing to travel even to NYC if need be. I just need good headshots. Thanks!
I am a big fan of dragons den Canada!
As a headshot photographer naturally I wanted to see what this next season dragons are using for their LinkedIn Headshots.
I reviewed each dragons headshot, and give tips about what makes a great headshot and what not to do with your Headshots.
I've just started acting professionally. I got my headshots back and my photographer said she would edit them to fix my spots and she didn't. I also literally have no idea how to pose and accidentally gave myself a double chin (which in real life I swear i don't have in real life 😭😭) is it bad to edit them super super slightly so it's still really natural just more flattering?
I am an aspiring actor with no experience as of yet. How can I do this, since I am on a budget?
Hey there! So I gave the college try for an at home headshot and it just didn’t make the cut. I’ve been doing acting classes little over a year, through the entire year, and I think it’s time I just maybe try getting some real audition practice. But for that I need a professional grade headshot. I think I’m going to a lot a budget of 300-400$. Is that reasonable? Anyone around the area know of a reliable/reputable photographer? I’m north of Austin.
I’m new to acting and am looking for headshots that are well done but not priced sky high. I want 4-5 done with similar angle but enough differences to evoke different characters or emotions. I live in Los Angeles (in the valley) but am willing to drive a bit to get to their studio.
My hair is past my shoulders, and I need new headshots. It's my first time shooting with hair this long. I had planned to style my hair before the shoot and wear it down and also change the part, tie it into a bun for different looks. The studio offers makeup/"light hair" for an extra $190.
Other men with long hair, What are your opinions/experiences on hiring a stylist for a shoot? Is it worth it?
