Anyone recently tried to cancel their subscription from the app and learned they can only do it outside the app? Can’t believe HBO has employed such dirty tactic by making subscribers jump through hoops to cancel.
I purchased a year plan, but the Max app is apparently not available in my region, even though my country is listed in the areas where it should be available. Is anyone in the Caribbean currently able to stream?
According to a TV app I use, S3E12 is "Drawn to Darkness" and S3E13 is "The Monster Inside Him," but on Max, it lists S3E12 as The Monster Inside Him.
Does anyone know where I can watch Drawn to Darkness and/or why it's not available?
Just curious as Season 3 is very near if I am not mistaken, so just wanted to see if anyone here was a fan of the show.
*EDIT*
I am not saying this is a bad thing AT ALL. I'm just curious as I haven't seen any other movie with an ASL performer like that before.
I was browsing through comedies on MAX and saw 3 different versions of Barbie. Turns out there is one version tagged "with ASL" and my first thought was wow that's really cool, hearing impaired folks can enjoy the movie! I fired it up and sure enough there is a person in the corner of the screen doing sign language. After a minute though that thought changed to why.
This is great and I am glad that there is another option but how is this better than traditional subtitles? Is this something that people with hearing difficulties would prefer? I would love to hear from someone about there preference on this.
I have not seen this before and just thought it was weird
Seriously they raised the price so I’m paying more than I did and I’m getting skippable ads. It’s not all the time but when it is, it is so so frustrating. I PAY FOR NO ADS THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY
Does this bother anyone else as much as it bothers me?
Hi I really want to laugh tonight, my most favourite comedies... Everything by Kevin Smith, Hangover, Borat.... Something really crazy, both MAX and also do have Prime TV. Thanks, nice weekend to everyone!!
When will this be released on Max?
So I just got my first 4K TV a few weeks ago and I've been having a very fun time watching 4K movies. I wanted to watch a movie tonight so I decided to put on Now You See Me on Max but while I was watching it I couldn't tell if it was in 4K or not especially because max doesn't tell you what quality you are watching in like other streaming apps so I looked up if the movie was in 4k anywhere else and it was but for some reason not on max which is really stupid. Why do they do that?
Prime has free Fringe with ads, which would be fine, but the content wasn't encoded properly when it was uploaded and there is a serious audio delay (200-2000ms) depending on the season/episode. Is this audio delay present on Max? I don't want to drop $10 for a service if it doesn't work correctly and literally nobody I know has Max right now.
What's the deal?
So I currently have a Max set up through my Hulu account which I think is the mid-tier subscription so I am only getting Full HD and not 4K. If I cancel that and get the 4K subscription from Max directly will my account still be the same? In other words will the profiles I already have set up transfer over or would it just be like signing up for the first time?
Why did Max take off Miracle workers? I was waiting for them to upload the final season....
College basketball was during March Madness. Is this a rights issue, with the NBA?
Barely works on roku. The time bar with options never goes away on ps4 (ik poverty). In my opinion it’s the worst streaming service to pay for. How do yall feel? It probably works good on some other platforms right?
I feel like I’m going crazy. Is my account just not showing the new episode or is this a mistake on Max’s part? There are no new episodes when I click this.
Hello everyone, just wondering what maybe be good, underrated thriller series / movies on max ?? I’ve heard True Detective is a really good series, and I just finished rewatching House Of Dragon before new season so any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks 🫡
I bought the subscription, clicked on the very first thing in the catalog I've could and I was immediately served a video that couldn't be more than 720p. It was all blurry and looked bad even on a 24' screen.
I've then tried a different show and I got something resembling the 240p era of YouTube. Completely unwatchable.
Trying to look up any solution redirected me to a few threads in this subreddit, all clueless to why is that happening. Some people suggested using Edge - what the fuck?
I've found out that Chrome at least has a quality switching plugin but then I've realized that I haven't had this subscription for even an hour and I'm already running into stupid shit like this and I already have to find workarounds for what is essentially basic stuff.
According to my e-mail it looks like I've been subscribed for whole 32 minutes. I've got charged for a month and I feel scammed. I no longer feel any guilt about any HBO show I've "borrowed" in the past.
So I'm helping my parents work out their streaming services. They're paying for multiple twice like Starz on both Hulu and Amazon for example.
They have the $15.99 a month Max (HBO) subscription but also I can log into a full Max account they have too.
Are these separate (twice paid for things) or does the Hulu subscription also get you the max log in and I dont need to cancel anything?
The Fellowship of the Ring regular theatrical version on Max seems to actually be the extended edition. I can tell because of the runtime. (Theat should be 3 hours, Ext is 3h49m). Anyone else having this error and know if there's a fix to this?
(Also, i'm aware the extended editions are great. Just showing the films to a first time viewer and thought theatrical would be less overwhelming)
I live in europe and I remember when it came out I saw it on hbo. cant find it anymore tho, anyone know where I can watch it?
I mean what things HBO max has that CN doesn't have?
When I watch Fury Road on Max it lists it as the Black and Chrome version which I would LOVE to see, but it's just the theatrical version with the wrong name. :(
Does that happen everywhere or can you choose between the two versions elsewhere? (I'm in Spain)
Hey, I was wondering if you, I signed up for the annual subscription last month, after using HBO for more than a year, and now they sent me and email that they’re transitioning to Max and the annual price changed. It says that starting from the 23rd of June this year and on the renovation date of my subscription the price will be updated. I was wondering if I’ll continue with this price, without having to pay until March next year and starting from then I’ll have the pay the new price or if in the 23rd of June, I’ll have to pay the difference between prices?
Thank you for the attention!
Pricing for Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia etc was leaked on the official website max com then removed
If I were to go with the annual plan would I be able to add the sports option once it's no longer included or would I have to go monthly for that?
Comment faire pour regarder hbo max en France j’ai acheté un vpn mais je n’arrive pas à payer vu qu’il faut une carte bancaire américaine est ce qu’il y a un site ou une solution pour voir ?
I’m trying to shop around. I currently have have YouTube tv. Does HBO max have live tv streams? More specifically like local channels?
