Hi! I just finished reading 1979 by LadyKenz347, and it’s amazing! At first, it didn’t completely hook me, but the more I read, the more I couldn’t put it down. It’s so well done. However, the story was posted back in 2020, and it says it’s only the first part. I couldn’t find the second part on the author’s AO3 profile, so does anyone know if a sequel is planned or if the author might have posted it on another site?

Hello, I'm looking for a co-writer. I have the general universe ideas and worldbuilding but when it comes to writing the story, I'm blocked. The story Brain of an elephant and eyes of an eagle is an AU universe story where a Hufflepuff intellectually gifted and with eidetic memory replaces Peter. The story starts in 1971 and goes though the years at Hogwarts with quite a few events changing. Then there is a bit of world tour and war things happening. Then there would be the 91 generation with OC's son and some changes with OC being Headmaster. Then it could be extended to the next generation and more further down the line.

I'm looking for any fics where that first magical experience in diagon alley(or similar) is done right. Where you feel the fairytale and magic in the words. No grimdark or overly independent harry please. No fem Harry or gay mc. Other than that Idc.

I don't know if this has been written before but I thought of the idea of Harry and Ginny somehow dying and Draco ending up somehow taking care of their children. Idk how he would end up raising the children but I'm sure a proper writer could come up with a way to fill that plot whole. In this au he hasn't spoken to Harry in years, not since the war and maybe briefly a couple times since then. Single gay Draco au. The journey of being a father is hard. Especially having to raise his nemesis's children. Draco falls in love with the bits and pieces of what he knows about Harry before he died, he mourns not knowing if Harry would even love him back if he was still alive especially as he was married to Ginny, Draco feels guilty for loving Harry. Basically a fic where Draco tackles fatherhood, being in love with a man whose dead, him moving on and being a good father for James, Albus and Lily. Also like Draco helping the children through the mourning process and maybe befriending old friends he hasn't seen in awhile and others who weren't friends with him in school but help him immensely like Ron and Hermione. I hope this made sense loll. I'd love for someone to write this, I would but I'm not a good writer I'm only good with writing prompts. I have so many prompt ideas, should I make a ao3 thing to put my prompts into? Lmk if I should.

Looking for a drarry fanfic and it's either about or partially about reporters polyjuicing as different people and trying to get info from him. This reporter disguises as a toddler, Draco then punts the toddler over the fence. Muggles call the cops and Auror Harry comes in to "interrogate him" (more like "goddammit Draco can't you stay out of trouble for 2 days?!")

So sorry, I don't know how tags work. But it's midnight here and I'm giggling to myself at the thought of Harry being a no fucks given and just brings a gun to a battle (just the general thought of it).

Anyway, I'm looking for a good gag fic that just has the general idea above.

I'm not sure if that title alone will get me canceled. Let me start by saying I'm not at all adverse to LGBT Characters in fanfic, and I don't shy away from fics with slash pairings. However, I'm almost done with book 6 of Sarcasm and Slytherin, and I'm rolling my eyes at this point when almost everyone is turning out to be gay. It's jarring when it seems to suddenly happen to so many characters. Like the author realized this was probably her last book, so EVERYBODY has to be gay.

I feel like it discredits how difficult it could be to be gay in a small community in the 90s. It also seems like the author is no longer invested in telling a realistically plausible version of Harry Potter and more interested in either shocking the readers or granting requests to fans who want certain pairings.

In this last book alone, blood of the Covenant, Ginny and Luna pair, as well as Dean and Seamus, Neville and Theo, Sirius and a guy, among other minor characters. I'm not done with book 6, but I'm pretty sure they're leading up to Draco and Justin Fitchfletchly, too.

I was impressed with the writing of this WBWL series, if not AS impressed as with The Prince of Slytherin. It was a fun read, and felt like a natural telling of a Slytherin Harry (although James' hatred of Harry and Ron's total douchebaggery wasn't explained very well). But when so many Characters suddenly had ss pairings, it took me out of the story, and felt like the author wasn't taking it seriously anymore.

Am I the only one who feels this way? I know there are tons of fics where the main point is a slash pairing, and that's fine. I'm just annoyed when someone does a long fic and turns so many characters gay that it's no longer realisticly plausible.

I can’t seem to find a specific fanfic. It’s Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy slash. In it, Draco discovers that his father is going to be kissed (dementors) and goes to Harry to beg for help, going to far as to offer to enslave himself to Harry in order to achieve this. The solution that Harry and his friends come up with is to put Lucius Malfoy in Harry’s care.

Specific things that occur in this work:

Draco adopts a fox. Lucius believes that Harry is forcing his son to do manual labor and believes that the collar for this fox is going to be put on Draco. Harry encourages the latter belief, because Lucius had refused to see reason up until this point.

Kreacher adopts a baby house elf. She is named Emerald.

Narcissa helps restore Sirius’ name on the family tapestry so that Grimmauld will stop rejecting Harry’s presence.

Draco works on a potion to wake Severus Snape up from the coma he has been in. (The world believes him to be dead.)

Ok so i just saw a video about how snape walks and the dramatics of his cloak What i noticed there was that when walking normaly the cloak drags on the floor, picking up dirt and creating friction thus much more damages So what if snape started to do the dramatic cloak flair not for well the dramatics but to save money?

I am aware that historically one would sew on extra fabric at the bottom for easier repairs and cleaning but extra fabric costs extra money So maybe his cloaks only had the raw outer fabric at the bottom edge

Further due to him being bullied by the marauders and probably also by the puruists in Slytherin having the cloak flowing a couple centimeters above the ground may give him the advantage of it being harder to step on and thus avoiding sudden janks backwards and ripps in the fabric because it couldn't withstand the abrupt aplied force

It was one of those time travel fics where Harry was sent back to James and Lilys time in Hogwarts when Voldemort attacked them. I think their souls somehow hitched a ride on his scar during the process, and spent most of the fic slowly merging with their younger selves. I don't remember the author or word count.

So I don't remember much about it but I know it is:

Harry potter It has multiple chapters I think it was Harry potter/draco malfoy I think it was on Ao3 and complete Mentor Snape? I think Professor Potter Defese army (club) I do know that for a fact he did become the defense teacher and he took his newts early. It was Albus Dumbledore friendly (I think) I believe the students kind of got mad at he was their age or younger than them. It was kind of like the joke of where he would give points out.That's what it started out with, but it involved.

As the title says, I'm looking for fics that are one-shots or shorter stories. Not too bothered about the ships or tags, but preferably happier / fluffier compared to dark and gory! But I'm open to any recommendations. I also do prefer to read on A03, but other websites are fine too.

Hello! I just posted my first work ever on AO3 and I, a grown ass adult, is nervous as hell. I found myself reflecting over how the people around Harry, both at the Dursley's and at school, must have noticed just how f'd up his life is and how could he possibly end up in all those scenarios? Dumbledore is secretive as hell and so I doubt the students were well informed about stuff going on and the rumour mill must've been insane. I'd like to write about it.

For starters though, I decided to write a one-shot from a muggle woman's perspective about Harry at Privet Drive and how someone really should've stepped in and stepped up for him. I haven't found a lot of stories like that (about muggles and Harry) but if you have, please recommend me some.

Anyways, just thought I'd drop it here, see if there's even the slightest interest in that kind of stories. I'll just write it for myself otherwise, lol!

Also, can I add more than one tag? This one felt insufficient but so did the others. I feel like this is a mixed tag kind of situation.

I don't even remember on which platform I read it. Likely at least 5 years old, but I could also be mixing that up as well. If I remember correctly, it's also a fairly long fanfiction (100K+).

What I can remember about the fic is that Minnie had adopted Harry. I also remember that when OOTP was written in, Harry was injured so badly by Umbridge and her blood quill that he bled profusely and McGonagall and Hermione would use some type of magical medicine that helped by soaking his arms in it. Also, Harry and his friends were frequently in McMcGonagall's quarters. That's literally all I remember, and it's driving me crazy! If anyone could give me some direction, I would greatly appreciate it!
