We’re buying a lot in the Harbor Springs area and we are planning on buying a 20’ or so boat. What are our seasonal docking options? Thank you in advance.
Where do local people in Harbor Springs hang out and live life to the fullest? It's such a beautiful area, it would be nice to know how to get involved with the community. Thank you.
Seeking any and all opinions/thoughts on Bay View, Michigan from locals or other vacationers!
Hi all! We have a small group of us (mid 20s) staying at the Highlands this weekend & looking for stuff to do :)
We enjoy going out in Petoskey, have found a couple of trails on AllTrails & thought about river tubing if that was an option? We really wanted to see if you guys had any insider ideas for us as well! (We’re skipping golf this trip)
Any ideas are appreciated! TIA!!
I am looking for beginning sports leagues for my ladies aged 3 and 5. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Some websites appear to be several years old or only have information for regional clubs and I just haven't found the information I need for local youth sports options.
They've only been opening like 5 runs on the weekend skiing (despite a reporter 42 inch base). Anybody know how many Runs are typically open the week leading up to Christmas?
There is a window next to Willow that has several drawings of dogs. Does anyone know who drew them and if they can be commissioned?
Just created a group on Facebook for OTB chess called Little Traverse Chess. So if any are interested join so it's easier to communicate with each other to meet up.
Hey, I'm up here for a month or two and am looking to find some people to meet up with and play chess weekly. So if anyone wants to play or knows anyone who would let me know.

Hello, I am a 20 year old sailor seeking a boat to crew on in a racing environment. I have been a ailing my whole life, and currently sail for the Michigan State sailing team during the fall and spring. My ultimate goal is to participate in the Ugotta Regatta, but I am eager to jump on any opportunity on any boat. Please message if you or someone you know may be able to help.
I am all for having a well funded municipality. I hope that the city council puts together a reasonable estimate of needed funds and supported programs and asks a sensible question of how to pay for it. It seems such an overreach to ask for authority for the next 20 years to raise taxes up to triple their current level. If you need money tell me why and ask for it. I hope there is a more sensible ballot measure next year.
Church bells too loud? Imagine the cries of the indigenous children at Holy Childhood.
Harbor Springs boasts a beautiful lighthouse with an extremely rare foghorn at the end of Harbor Point. Unfortunately the point is private land, seemingly blocking off access to the light.
My question is this, can I access the light without having to use a boat? I don’t want to cause any trouble, or trespass. I simply want to visit this historical light of Michigan.
hi I’m looking for a local’s opinion of the best places to eat. we’ve spent a lot of time up here and love the casual dining spots, but now we have an anniversary coming up and thought we’d try somewhere special this time. would appreciate your recommendations, thanks!
