In this episode Aaron>! gives Andre this advice "You believe that you deserve your dream job straight out of college with no effort". Isn't that exactly what happened to Aaron? I don't know too many 25 year old full professors with no publications. !<
Question: why does Annika tell Lauryn to never say “sister in need” again? It didn’t seem like a problematic statement. Lauryn was talking about trying to cheer up one of their female friends who’s feeling down, a sister in need. Is it because Lauryn’s white so she shouldn’t refer to Zaara as a sister? Or is it because as strong women they shouldn’t consider a fellow sister to be in need? I just don’t see the issue. Does anyone have any insight?
Petty problems I know but does anybody else ever get annoyed with whatever lighting or filtering they use while filming? It makes it look hazy like a dream sometimes. I wish I was better at explaining it but it drives me bonkers in some scenes.
This show makes no effort to portray the actual college experience. If trading was that easy, everyone would do it. Writers are beyond lazy.
I enjoy the show but I feel like it already had a good ending when Zoey graduated college. I feel like they should have had junior go to a different college to make it different somehow. IDK
wowwww I really hated that episode. I understand what they were going for about doing the same thing to boys that they did to girls to objectify and being cruel. I get it. But I still didn’t like it at all. I think it’s such a step back from feminism and just counterproductive. I know we saw Junior kinda liking the attention but at first he was clearly not feeling it, he never told anyone about the fact that they hooked up and Kiela just blasts for the whole college and that’s supposed to be fine ??? Kiela wasn’t even acknowledging/validating the fact that Junior didn’t like it and just told him to be happy about it when he clearly wasn’t. For Kiela to do that to a „friend“ (I guess, i don’t really know this season), it seems cruel. Kiela just comes across as a hypocrite, I really tried to like her but I can’t
Did they write that character off?? I hate when they drop characters with no explanation
What’s withe the stocks and crypto storylines? It feels very promotional, there gotta be some sort of downfall for junior right?
Why on earth did the writers make Zoey miss her graduation? And why didn’t the girls try to find her before the ceremony started? It just didn’t make any sense to me.
So, a whole episode as if herpes is a death sentence, and no one says: “Hey, most people have herpes.”
He has this unjustified cockiness about him. He literally comes in from the jump all high and mighty because he's a few years older the his classmates at orientation. Even his hair and outfits are worse.
Then we suppose to believe he's pulling all these girls???
uhhhh wtf was season 5 episode 10... it was so useless and who asked for zoey and aaron when there is a new cast. I was so excited to see the new episode for everyone else....
Towards the end as they're sneaking out the dorm room..... Ana checks her phone to 'locate' all the friends to make sure she and Aaron don't get caught together. What or wasn't that the doxxing app that Elon Musk was talking about on Twitter with people harassing his family? What Map Location app was Ana using?
THIS IS ENTIRELY MY OWN OPINION AND IF YOU DISAGREE THAT'S FINE
Season 1 should've ended with Zoey getting a job after being cut off and season 2 should've focused on her with that job.
A big issue with this show was how Zoey constantly had guys fighting over her and was landing all of these super elite internships (Teen Vogue, celebrity styling, etc.) all the time. So instead of wasting time on her unrelatable relationship problems, explore how she's struggling to have good grades whilst having a job. It's so stupid how they completely abandoned that storyline to have her become a personal celebrity stylist. It would've been really interesting to see Zoey's new lifestyle working at that bookstore and it would've made for some pretty good plotlines and allowed her to meet new people.
I also think that when Zoey started working at the bookstore, that's when Doug should've been introduced. Then Jazz should've started dating him since she knew him through Zoey (cause the way their relationship started was really dumb and weird to me).
Zoey should not have gotten a fashion internship until season 3 and it should've only been at the mall or something. That would've 10x more relatable and realistic.
But again, this is just my personal opinion.
I was on TikTok the other day and seen a clip talking about males getting rape but I can’t find that ep does anyone know what ep it is ?
