Att; Dog Owners - Anyone successfully treat their dogs hot spots and with what?
I have tried everything to treat my dog's hot spots, but to no avail. I can't bear to see him scratch anymore. I have done everything for him, and when one goes away, another pops up.
He gets supplements and we've tried all different shampoos and products. He's been to the vet and was put on Apoquel. He seemed to get a bit better while he was on it but relapsed. I read about the possible side effects of this medication and I don't like it.
This happens every summer and usually abates by this time of year but the poor thing is itchy. I've read that this can sometimes be caused by anxiety but I'm at a loss. Any suggestions are welcome. He's never had a case of it that lasted this long. :(

Here’s something you don’t see everyday.
This was around 2:15pm Oct 4th down near the end of the walkway past Newtown Barge Playground. Didn’t look recreational or a search for anything. He did make his way to the bank on that side and climbed out fully dressed of course. Humans are wiiild. ⚠️

Should We Open Another Doggy Daycare in Greenpoint?

I’m the founder of JoJo & Co Pet Club, in GP. We’ve been lucky to grow a wonderful community of pet parents, and we’re now considering expanding near Huron and West.
Before moving forward, I’d love to hear from the community—do you feel there’s a need for another doggy daycare in this area? Any insights on the local demand, other options, or specific services you’d like to see would be incredibly helpful.

Williamsburg Bridge Bike Path Construction - When Will It End
See title. The path has become dangerous with ongoing construction or maintenance or whatever, especially in the dark. The path is tight with all the personnel and equipment. I can’t find anything about it online. Anyone know when it’s supposed to end?

Blueberries from Met are overpriced and often taste soft / mealy.
I never see them at the farmers market the past few weeks, but I believe we’re still in blueberry season (at the tail end?).

1/1 NLH POKER - fun!
I host a home poker game, with a mixed crowd (neighbors, colleagues, long time poker associates, my kids' classmate's parents, etc ) also occasionally add complete strangers into the mix (after being carefully vetted of course) .

Are any of the weed shops open anymore?
Most in GP and WB have been closed recently (haven’t been following closely don’t know exactly why) and I’ve seen several posts/photos on here of NYPD raiding and closing these stores. Any reliable ones still operating? The few I’ve been to don’t seem to be, have walked by and they are boarded up.
