Twin Tribes were formed in 2017, but their sound would fit perfectly in the ‘80s. The dark synth/post punk duo will take the LPR stage in NYC this Sunday, April 7 and low tickets remain!

Twin Tribes pull from the period of the dark ‘80s and weave between dark wave, post-punk and cold wave. They use analog synthesizers and drum machines to create dark melodic sounds set to lyrics of the undead, the occult, and parallel universes. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any club playable Techno that's also infused with the dark romanticism thematic. I know there's plenty of Goth-Industrial and Darkwave acts that combine the heavy and abrasive elements of punk, rock and metal, but I'm hoping for stuff that is more like dark modern dance music.

If I had to give an example, maybe something like Gesaffelstein's Destinations?

If people have any specific recommendations, please let me know.
