Question: Anybody used regular grade fuel in the GP460, or an octane booster to substitute?
Story: I just bought a new Super GSR46R, starting the break-in process tomorrow with RedLine 2-stroke oil. I am living on a military base for the next year and can’t store more than a tank full of gas (1.5L) at a time. I have access to gas pumps on base but will only be pumping ~0.5gal at a time. If it takes about 1/3 gal for a pump hose to clear after switching grades, I’ll pretty much always be getting just regular gas. I do have a 1.5L fuel storage bottle, I suppose I could purge the pump into that but I’m unsure how to dispose of that unwanted gas if there’s nobody around to use it in their car.
what cheap mods can i do to make faster top speed is around 28
I've been looking to buy my first goped and the used market in my area is looking scarce so I looked at goped's website for a new one and it seems all the newest models are 4 stroke. I've been eyeing the gsr cruiser in particular but I can't really find anybody running the 4 stroke models online so I'm unsure if it's the right move.
Thoughts?
I just moved to London and a kick scooter makes a ton of sense. Goped seem to be the right overall design because:
I live in the uk and that branch of goped doesn't offer the taller handle bar.
At my height is there a good chance of getting an after market handle?
Is there a possibility of building a scooter from parts like the goped with a longer handle?
Many thanks for help. I can save a bunch of money with parking if I can scooter from accommodation to a chill suburb. Same with the commuting overall so any help would be really appreciated. Lean bodyweight is 117kg as a Judo guy so I want a strong scooter. Along with performance mods if anyone has any? I might try going as far as 6 miles on it.
Hello,
You probably will all think I’m an idiot but if there’s any hope I could make this work let me know.
I’m considering riding a GoPed Trail Ripper on the Trans America Motorcycle Trail. I know the TAT is thousands of miles long with varied terrain (gravel, dirt, rocky paths, mountains, etc.), and the Trail Ripper isn’t exactly built for long-distance off-road adventures. Everything on it right now is stock.
I’m looking for advice on how I could potentially outfit my GoPed to handle the trail. I would need a Bob trailer to carry everything.
It’s an insane idea. But any help or suggestions would be awesome.
Rear suspension and front. Cant find
i have a razor pocket mod and a old weed wacker how do i make the weed wack motor chain driven ?
Hi There. Tempted to buy my first Stand up gas scooter. It has 49cc engine and this is all I know about it. It is posted as 2005 Nikota l4beaasn model, but I can't find no information about it. It will be used for short distance ride from work to my parked car than loaded in the trunk of my car and I drive home.
My weight is around 115kg and I will be probably 120kg+ total weight. Will this thing carry me?
How stinky do they get provided I will load it inside my Prius hatchback and drive with it?
Anything else I should know?
Thank you.
Hey guys I’m planning on doing my first real goped build. My question is Besides DDM is there any good websites to get parts from? Is the www.goped.com website legit and reliable?
It's on its 3rd engine and it absolutely flies
Picked this thing up about 15 years ago on Craigslist and never really rode it a whole lot. I never liked the push start and wanted a clutch instead. I think now I'm going to return this.. might throw on a new engine with clutch,, new brake pads & cable, etc. I'm not quite sure what engine is on it now since it seems like a customized build, but it likely would need a full rebuild at a minimum anyhow.
