has anyone else had an issue where the podcasts they subscribe to aren't updating. 3 of mine so far haven't updated in a while (Welcome to Night Vale, Alice Isn't Dead, and Shane & Friends). I'm wondering if something is wrong with Google or if it's just me... The Night Vale one didn't upload it's newest one, Alice isn't Dead didn't upload the last two episodes of the first season, and Shane & Friends hasn't updated in 3 weeks.

When you go to google music, there's always the big artist image that cycles in the background based on "I'm assuming" artists you have in your music collection. Is there a way I can browse those? As they just kind of cycle at random and sometimes I don't know which band it is .

HTC m8 - subscribed to google play , seems every time I update this app some albums are no longer downloaded or only half the songs are there. Then in most cases I go to re download those albums, there's only partial albums . Any help ?? Or is this app complete shit

Anyone else have issues? It's throwing a security error.

Just wondering if am I the only one to have several issues with Android N ? Songs stop for no reason, some songs don't even start, it's really laggy in the app. Before Nougat, everything was buttery smooth. I got a Nexus 5X by the way.

I just want to use Google Play Music as an MP3 player but I can't get past the 'Subscribe to Play Music' screen. If I click 'Subscribe' it offers me a 3 month trial, then if I click 'No Thanks' I just get to the 'Subscribe' page again.

Can anyone help?

Am I the only one of which the like/dislike and amount of views of library albums and the same tracks in a playlist are (completely) different?

For example all Kendrick Lamar tracks from an album in a playlist are viewed more than 2 times and liked, but when I check the album in my library I only see some (or even none in some cases) with atleast 1 view and/or a like? They don't seem to be in sync...

I bought a Xiaomi phone which means i can't use itunes so i went for what i think is 2nd best for music which is google music but my issue is that it censors songs but for me specifically Drakes album Views.

If anyone knows a solution it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

None of my albums are downloaded, but if I delete albums, close the tab, and re-open it, suddenly the album reappears. What's more, when I try to delete the album again, it says "Can't delete album. Please try again". I don't want to constantly delete 70+ albums every time I use the PC app.

I've tried refreshing my library with no success.

When I try to play a station for a given artist, only songs in my library will play instead of songs by that artist or related artists. Stations were working correctly maybe a month ago, but all my recent attempts this week have turned out the same. Any way to fix this?

I got a new nexus 6p as a warranty replacement and want to copy my 'downloaded' songs to the new phone. I've got about 20GB of music that's taken me hours to compile and download.... Can anyone think of a way to transfer my offline library to the new phone?

I can't find the files on my computer under com.google.android.music/files/ (it's empty).

Or see any way to make a playlist from all my downloaded songs and stations. Really hoping there's a way to do this!!

I wanted to make a request for the engineers at GPM to make a option for playlist folders, spotify has it now as well. I'm sure it's a really simple feature to add. Anyone know if it possible to make such a request? Where or who should I call/e-mail that would take such a request seriously.Thanks for your help.

I just started using GPM, and I tried downloading a song, but it doesn't seem to show up when I search for it when I don't have internet, nor will it come up if I go under the artist or album it should be under. It seems the only way I can possibly go to the song when I don't have internet is if I search through the playlist it's in for it.

Am I being dumb? Or is this just the way it is?

I've been thinking about this and I was wondering if when I add an album to my library but take the (Remastered) out of the title, will it still count as a stream for the artist? I was reading about how streams can affect the artist and was curious

Is there a way for Google Music to create a playlist based on a few songs you mark as "base" for that playlist.

For example, I'd want Google Music to make me a playlist that will have the same vibe as these songs:

• Rudimental feat Leanne La Havas - Needn't Speak
• Tom Odell - Another Love (Zwette Edit)
• John Legend - All of Me (Tiësto's Birthday Treatment Mix)

and so on.

I'm not really looking into similarities by artist or tagged genre, but more on bpm, vocal vs instrumental ratio, tone ranges and so on.

Anyone else experiencing this? I don't make playlists, I just queue up the albums I want to listen to.

Lately Google play has been doing this weird thing of only keeping a few tracks from an album, and it's always the same ones...

I'm switching to download only mode to see if that works.

Can someone use a VPN to make it seem they are in the US in order to be on my family plan?

this is probably not so much a google play music issue as it is an issue in general with maybe my phone or what but songs are stopping and starting when my phone is busy doing other stuff, is there a workaround here? suppper annoying!!!

on two different phones now, I've noticed if I play a song, it will get about 45 seconds in and then restart at the beginning.

Hi there.

I'm running windows 10 fully updated, with chrome fully updated. When I type into the search bar in google play to find music,if I dont type very fast it auto searches based on the 3-4 characters I have typed. But it stops me continuing to write the rest of the search query into the search bar.

I just tried to type in "the hobbit." I got as far as "the" then the page goes opaque and searches based on "the" but doesn't allow me to continue typing "hobbit"

So I click back on the search and manage to get "ho" added into the search query before it does the same again.

Edit:It does this in the edge browser as well.Plus my wife's laptop under her login.

It's really frustrating. It has broken my ability to search for music. Is this a bug? Thanks for any help. Daniel.
