How many years after graduation can an alumni still attend career fair?
I'm an undergrad and have taken a long time to finish it due to multiple circumstances. Now, I am where I have been allowed to take the accelerated program, but I'm not 100% sure I want to take longer on my studies or just be done with the BS. I know this is mainly a subjective question. Are there people here who decided and/or did the program here? Is it worth it? If so, realistically, how much ahead were you from BA or BS people in the same major?
Can you buy a Lot A permit I don’t see it on the available permit list ?I also checked the sold out lots and it’s not even on there either.
Does anyone have tickets for sale to the MD Ren Fest this Sunday the 29th? The entire festival is sold out for every date, trying like hell to get in.
Why is it that some guys on campus like to harass ppl in the bathroom? I've had people throw wet paper towels into my stall while I'm doing my business. I've seen groups of boys shoulder tackle the door to the shower in the lower level restrooms of Exploratory Hall when someone else was showering. Someone was playing a podcast in the bathroom once and a group of guys started faking orgasm noises. One weirdo slapped my ankles under the stall once while I was taking a dump and I tried stomping his hand. What possesses college men to revert back into boyhood stupidity?
Todays “I want friends” post is brought to you by me 😂
I’m 29M who graduated Mason in 2019 but am back for another degree! Currently taking 18 credits and would love to have plans outside of school.
I’m into: going to the gym, anime, animal crossing, getting sushi, traveling, photography, hiking, skydiving, cafes.
I’m a very extroverted, bubbly, and a kind person
Dm if Interested! 😁
I don’t feel confident that I will pass the exam. Am I screwed if I don’t pass or will my hw, quizzes and other tests make up for it towards the end of the semester?
Hope you pass your midterms bro -and safely crossed the road. 🙏🏼💀 locked tf in
So I have straight short hair and a full beard and I’m just looking for a normal fade and cut and a beard trim, where is a barber that you recommend that’s close to campus and isn’t crazy expensive
Seriously. I don’t know why mason keeps these in so many rooms. It’s so inconsistent. It always turns on when I don’t want it to and never turns on when I want it on. Gotta love lying in bed and shifting my weight and then being flash banged by the room since the sensor seems to only pick up movement on the far wall - exactly where my bed is. I tried putting tape over the sensor to block it but it didn’t help. Has anyone here found a way to disable them?
Thanks.
Hello!
I am currently interested in attending George Mason University, as it seems to have a vibrant atmosphere in tangent to a curriculum aimed towards producing industry ready graduates, however I do have a few questions.
After some research I have found that George Mason was vetted for being a very queer accepting college, however I wanted to ask if that vetting held any water. It is very important to me that I am able to attend a school where I don't have to over think my safety so much as an LGBT individual.
Additionally, how diverse ethnically would you say the college is? As someone navigating life as a person of color, it is important for me to be able to lean on other individuals who look like me for advice, or encouragement, whether if it be for my academics and studying for exams, or simply advice for BIPOC hair friendly products.
Finally, would you say you feel safe attending GMU? This doesn't even pertain to just the college, but FairFax as a whole, I want piece of mind knowing when I move into a college, not only is the campus safe, but the surrounding town.
Thank you for your time, and if you have any advice please feel fee to share!
In one of my classes I've noticed a group of students that find it funny or annoying whenever a certain individual asks questions. I hear them talking about this individual whenever they have a question. Honestly this is probably why people don't like to ask questions, cuz people r so rude and judgmental.
I got an email that I have a package in one of the mail room lockers, but they only keep them there for three days. I’m out of town and won’t be back until Sunday. What the hell do they do with it once they take it out of the locker? Is it just left sitting out?
IT Dude interested in learning more about programming. Want to attend GMU for a Comp Sci Master's, but haven't knocked out the pre-reqs. Spoke to an advisor and was told about this program.
Has anyone tried this program? What were your impressions? Would you do it again? Why or why not?
I have my first exam coming up in 2 weeks and I am not ready at all. Do you guys have any tutor recommendations?
Midterm exams are coming soon in a few weeks. Just want to now if you have any unique strategy that is effective to you that I can try.

Hi, I am taking Neuro 101 online and was just wondering for anyone in it or has taken Neuro 101, how did you prepare for the first exam? Any tips?
hey guys, i’m posting hoping someone may have one of this past exams I can use to study with. I’m taking his exam soon but would love to see the styles of questions he gives. Thanks.
Is it working for yall? Won't let me log in
Hey guys, I know its a silly question. I searched online and I just want to verify again. What grade do you have to get in a class for that to count to towards your degree in school of business? So far the answer I found is C 70% but others told me its C+ so I just wanna make sure. Thanks
guys, what if we just make one big groupchat on reddit instead and you guys can just post on there? Will be easier to talk and meet different people. Dont you think? Idk, just an idea.
I was just wondering whether we have a men’s volleyball team or is there any place on campus where pickup volleyball matches take place? Feel like it would be fun to play with others on campus.
Hello, I am 18M trying to refigure this friends making thing. I have hobbies in gaming (Squad, Siege, Minecraft, and Gray Zone), walking around/driving randomly, and bowling. I am socially awkward if I do not know someone well but after getting to know someone I get more comfortable. Trying to find people/group to hang out with, and I live on campus. Hopefully we can meet or if you have any advice for where to find friends.
Is there a computer lab that has installed the program Autocad 2025?
For anyone that has taken his class, are the exams similar to the Blackboard quizzes or the Connect SmartBook assignment questions?
Haven't really done my best effort's to expand my network or meet new people im a junior 21M and majoring in business management down to meet new people with the same interests!
Hey guys, I’m a freshman and I really need to join some clubs this year. I don’t really know where to look and I’m getting stressed out. I’ve tried Mason 360, but I couldn’t make it work correctly I believe. For context, I really need to show leadership and participation this year.
I’d like to join a mental health club, because I joined one in high school. Additionally, I’d like to join other clubs or ways to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion which is important to me in a college.
I’d really appreciate it if you direct in a place to sign up. Thank you!
