Hi guys,
Trying to improve my skills and make a genre shift to a more psybass / glitch hop sound. But it appeared to be more difficult than I thought. Do yoyu have any advises on tutorials for Propellerhead Reason? I would be very grateful.
Big up!
Hi,
I am in the process to manually glitch a sample manipulating the waveform, with the classical ideas : random silences, stutter and inversion.
Do you have any recommendations about how long the "microsampling" selection to be altered should be ? Too short and it's not hearable, too long and it doesn't function well. Did you land on a sweet spot for the selection size. I can't find anything that works well
Thanks!

Join the crowdfunding campaign :
Hello everyone! I've been making electronic music for 13 years under the name Mars-Massive, which combines bass music, jazz and world music.
I'm talking to you today because I'm launching a crowdfunding campaign to finance the mastering of my first album, as well as a CD and vinyl press, and so finalise this project that I've been putting together for four years.
Four years of experimentation, encounters, inspiring friendships and joys, but also personal trials, disappointments and sorrows. All these emotions and more have fed into my music over the years, culminating in what I consider to be my most complete project to date.
Before this project reaches its conclusion there's one stage left: mastering. For this last touch of post-production, I wanted to call on Dans Smith [DKS] who has worked with artists I greatly admire for their sound quality and creativity such as Mr. Bill, Koan Sound and Culprate.
But his services come at a price and are currently out of my reach. That's why I've decided to use crowdfunding to bring this project to life.
I'm launching a crowdfunding campaign on the Ulule platform and I invite you to join me in this adventure. Of course, there will be rewards in return!
You can find all the details of this campaign directly on my Ulule page: https://fr.ulule.com/marsmassive-album-evolve
I'd like to thank you in advance for your interest in this project and for your commitment, and I hope that together we'll be able to make it happen!
Glitch enough?

Thank you all alot for your support, im still working to be better at this genre that it's kinda hard for me to make in comparation to others, but my favorite in every single aspect.
I finally released this one, more glitchy and happier than the rest of what I've made so far, so i hope you all like this one as much as i do!
Been trying to find a glitch hop artist for a long while now that I used to listen to sometime between 2010-2017. I remember their artwork reminded me of Luigi or Waluigi but I can’t remember any of the songs titles
I mean in the past I wasn't making so good stuff, so I understand, but the last two tracks I've sent them were pretty original, experimental and the sound design was very good in my opinion (and i'm very self-critic usually) - many people told me they were perfect for their channel. they end up saying every time that the tracks I sent them aren't what they go for, but then they accept without hesitation a track like "Melodic Mayhem" by Little Fletch (check it out and you will see...). I don't know if any of you got ever refused by them, but I'm pretty disappointed, also because I've always showed them huge support and I've made a whole mixtape for them aswell...
