I am rewatching this show and I had forgotten the ending until the episode came. Why did they set up Annie and Max just to completely smash it to pieces. UGHHH. The hiking story was funny though and the end of that episode of triangle and square was alright.
It has been years since i watch this show, and I forgot what the resolution was. Did it turn out that the paranormal phenomena from the first half of the season wasn't real? what happened at the end of the show? Were there any loose threads,or was everything resolved? Please give me the spoilers if you could, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time :)
So this guy having sex and maybe it was casual but we would use protection he ask to feel and take off Last few times it was completely raw and recently we actually did it and he cum inside me for the first time and after that he hasn’t said anything What really happen
We had always text sexy things in between he even telling me once that sex was legitimately great
But the night he finally cum I told him later in text that was erotic He read and ignored Next day I sent him a sexy pic blowing kiss ignored then I said see you around next next day He said yep And sorry busy
Than i told him I enjoyed that intimate moment the other night And he said he doesn’t want to have interactions like this
What does that even mean
We were really all over each other I thought texting our fantasies he telling me he loves my pussy etc
But all of a sudden he cum in me and not a word about it what gives
I can take rejection but this was different .
This show starts a man famous for selling Pizza Hut and a man famous for his love of Calzones. Does that tell us about some deeper meaning for the show?
They had amazing chemistry and even with a restart partway through our relationship where so many things changed, I really wish I got more than 9 episodes.
I just finished watching the first season. Throughout the series, I was waiting for the revelation that we were watching different realities, which would explain the continuation issues. I realize that episode order helps explain some; however, it would have explained additional issues, such as changes with Annie/Max and the psychic's unfulfilled premonition. It would have been an awesome, outré twist. Now, I'm stuck wondering where a second season would have been headed and if my theory had any weight. It would be awesome if someone picked the show up.
The whole thing they set up with Annie CLEARLY liking Max, and then turning into a complete cunt rag bitch "No. No." "Maybe I'll have a question later" and her saying "My answer will be no". What was that shit all about? Just bad writing overall. Made me despise Annie. The whole sleeping with Leroy story was retarded as well. Absolutely no shock this show got canned. Majority of the jokes didn't land either.
Since this came up in another thread and I just finished my rewatch, I thought I'd post this in case anyone else needs it. This is the actual production order of the episodes and not the way they were originally aired or listed in Hulu. Halloween hijinks seem to go on for more than a month, but it's easier to understand and see the characters progress
Production Order | Title | Aired Episode Number |
---|---|---|
1 | Pilot | 1 |
2 | Haunted Hayride | 8 |
3 | Whispers | 3 |
4 | Bee-Mo | 2 |
5 | Lockdown | 4 |
6 | Sam | 6 |
7 | The Machine | 5 |
8 | Ghost Studz | 7 |
9 | Snatcher | 9 |
10 | Hello Boys | 16 |
11 | The Wire | 10 |
12 | The Demotion | 11 |
13 | The Premonition | 12 |
14 | The Article | 13 |
15 | Unbelievable | 14 |
16 | The Airplane | 15 |
Episode 11 is where the new showrunner and "vibe" of the show come in, but at least they all aired in order for that set.
Didn’t they get fired at the end of episode 15? How did that just go away and how did Ava end up back in charge? I was pretty stoned for the whole season so I may have missed something lol someone please help. Also super bummed they only made one season, their on screen chemistry was hilarious.
Just saw Craig and Adam's adorable little faces when i was scrolling through "new content" this morning. I'm about to do a rewatch this weekend!
I’m a 16 year old girl and I got ghosted in a very weird way. I have many questions. Why did he ghost me in the first place? What did I do wrong? Is he ever going to text me back? I’m not going to go back to him, I just need some type of closure. So let me start from the beginning. We met at a party and afterwards I added him on snap cause I thought was cute. That night he added me back and we started having a convo and he said we should talk more. The next two weeks we start flirting and talking over snap and snapping constantly. Then we hook up at a Halloween party he invited me too. For the next couple of days his friends were sending me pics of him and some of his friends would tell me he thought I was hot. Then he texted me asking me where I was at basketball practice (on thursdays we practice at the same gym, we both play basketball) I said I wasnt there cause I had smth after school. Then randomly he said he had smth to tell me. I said what’s up and he didn’t respond. I texted him the next day asking if he was gonna tell me. Never responded. It’s been three days and he’s left me on delivered but his snap map is on so he’s clearly on Snapchat. And yesterday some of my friends were going to this guys house and he was there. I had no idea he was there but the friends asked if I can come and the guys, including him, said yes. Idk if that means anything but that’s basically the end of the story. Did he actually have something to tell me? I’m so confused.
I forgot about this show and someone reminded me. I was going to watch again, but I can't get past the fact that they destroyed what could have been a really really good show. OH WELL.
Lol I’m watching again and even the later episodes are fun because of the team! This show was done dirty
Whyyyyy did the show end?? I didn’t even know I was curious until I saw all the old posts on here!
Did you ever get ghosted for no good reason? I talked to a girl for a few days and I don’t think i did anything weird so I’m confused.
I just finished the series again, and it never fails to get me so encapsulated. This show is incredibly underrated
When they're talking about multiverses in the first episode, whether there's another Kevin Spacey, and Craig says "I think we got the best Kevin Spacey" and "she's probably on the beach with Kevin Spacey..."
...and then months later...
Oops. Should've referenced another actor.
Hulu would be great as long as they used the original plot episodes 1-9 +16 great actors, good idea... And to be honest at the end of episode 16...I could almost sense a "stranger things" type of feeling from the show... A great opportunity for them...
I can only hope, Leroy! Pontiac bandit!
Sorry to kick a dead horse but I am trying to piece everything together. I finished the series today and have been searching Google/Reddit for answers and it seems like it's all over the place. This is what I think I know.
Fox came out with this show and then half way through the season changed the show runners and that's why it takes kind of a drastic turn.
They then cancel it but allowed the original show runners come back to do the last two episodes.
Here are the parts I'm confused with.
1: What happened to Annie's boyfriend? I've also seen the confusion with having her hook up with Leroy and shutting down Max. Which I'm in that group.
2: What happened to Max's wife? He was going to ask Annie on a date but he hadn't shown closure with his wife yet. I know it showed her in the ending so I guess it was weird story telling?
3: Who bugged the office? It seemed like the guy who bought hangers was in on it and so was Merv.
4: What happened to Merv?
I felt like I had way more questions but I guess there was so many those are the first few I remember. Again I'm sure this stuff has been asked so I'm happy to even get a link to another post or site that kind of has the whole story. Man it's going to bug me, just like mostly everyone else here I enjoyed the show. Even as cheesy as it could be sometimes, that's what made it good. Maybe Amazon or Netflix will save it? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The plot of every episode before the retooling seemed so rushed (after the retooling there was almost no plot to speak of). I felt like the plot needed room to breathe that it just couldn't achieve in a half hour. It made the show feel small and like there was an entire middle act of the show that you had somehow missed. There were other problems but I think this was a big one.
