We are conducting a user study and urgently need US citizens, as well as German citizens who live in the Darmstadt/Frankfurt area. You can find the criteria on the flyer. If you know someone who knows someone, and so on - please forward the link to the questionnaire or our phone number (questionnaire takes 5 minutes). The incentive is 60€! Thank you very much!
Hello,
I wanted to see how long it is now currently taking to get approved for TESA for positions in Germany.
I was recently offered a contract position which will have me working in Stuttgart Germany and I wanted to ensure I can plan accordingly before relocating.
As a contractor with a SOFA TESA agreement, will I be ineligible to purchase a house or apartment in Germany? If I am elegible, is there a regulation which states this such case?
I do not plan to rent or make profit from the house. I just want to be able to provide my family a home.
We are travelling to Sweden via Germany soon. We need a test within 48 hours of arrival to sweden, so I think I need a rapid test. Germany says the rapid test must meet the WHO requirements. What tests meet that requirement and how do I know where to find one??
My husband and I are really debating making the move from Kentucky to Germany. We are frustrated with the current US healthcare system, maternity leave standards and education amongst other things. However, we are just getting our feet wet with research and want to hear about people’s personal experiences who have lived in both locations. What are the pros and cons to living in Germany? We are currently kid free, but hope to have one in the next few years. We want to set our future children up for success while giving ourselves the opportunity to experience different cultures. My husband is a mechanical engineer and I am a project manager for a construction company. Any experiences, recommendations, tips & tricks are greatly appreciated.
