The current line is Dawgs +3. The line opened at Dawgs +2-1/2.
Thoughts? Any injury news?
What has happened to the defense? We've got 4 and 5 star talent all over the field at all three levels and we can see players like Starks, Humphries, and Harris have REGRESSED this season.
I know UGA has recently lost Muschamp, Fran Brown, and Dan Lanning which are all great defensive minds. That leaves Glenn Schumann. Is he the problem? Was his incompetence masked by all the coaches I previously mentioned?
I also noticed Kirby took over defensive play calling in OT. Do you think Kirby will be more involved in in-game defensive playcalling going forward?
Feel free to discuss former UGA players currently playing in the NFL! Go Dawgs!

How does bama have a 30% chance and a chance higher than miami and south carolina?
For a long time, I was under the impression that officiating high-level football games was an extremely difficult job where there’s a million things happening at once and even the most well-trained professionals are prone to making a few mistakes a game. But recently, I learned from 18-23 year olds on Reddit that actually every college official is a degenerate gambler and/or agents of the CFP playoff committee who all stand to make hundreds of thousands of dollars by influencing the outcome of these games. This is invaluable information that I wish I’d learned at an earlier age, and frankly I’m a bit embarrassed that I didn’t know until now.
Naturally, Georgia was able to meet the demands of Friday’s crew. We are one of the top programs in the country now, and we weren’t going to be outbid by the lowly Yellow Jackets. My question is: why didn’t any of the other blue-blood programs just do the same? Ohio State only needed to buy three points at home against a terrible Michigan team. Surely their well-heeled boosters could have secured that many points? And also, what about Clemson and Miami? Did they really give up potential playoff spots just because it was too expensive to win? Are you telling me the 12th man in College Station couldn’t pass the plate for one more measly touchdown after more than ten years of dormancy in their rivalry with Texas with a spot in the SECCG on the line?
I’m just trying to understand because I woke up Saturday feeling 100% confident that Ref Ball would deliver victories to all of these teams, but after yesterday’s results I’m more confused than ever. Is Kirby really the GOAT of buying wins, or is there something else at play here?
Game of the year & ESPN is acting like it didn't even happen! What disrespect!! Kirby needs to be made aware of this ASAP!!!
Don’t get me wrong, Saturday is when college football should be played. Friday night is for high school football. So NOT looking to make this a regular occurrence by any stretch.
But it was kind of nice for once just sitting back and watching the Saturday chaos unfold while our W was already in the bag. Anyone agree?
I’m from tech (yes I’m upset 😢 ) and I just looked at barstoolu’s insta page. It looks like they post uga like once in a blue moon and it’s to shit on them. Tech doesn’t get any recognition either. We went to 8 OT’s and they only to make one shitty post about the game.
I wouldn’t be as annoyed if it weren’t for the fact the infinite barstool posts from the umich vs osu game weren’t flooding my feed.
uga is literally first in the sec (and one of the best college football teams period). I would expect them to be covered more.
when tech upset miami we didn’t get shit.
So what’s up? Do they have something against Georgia? Neither of us are insignificant yet they seem to treat us as if we were.
Also for the rest of the season, I (and possibly thousands of Aggies) are now Georgia fans for the rest of this season.
Just imagine if Texas goes 14-3 this year, with all 3 losses being against us. I'm glad they won tonight just to keep that possibility alive.
Locks
SEC - Texas, Georgia, Tennessee
B1G - Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State
ACC - SMU/Clemson (ACC Champ), Miami (if SMU wins)
Big 12 - Big 12 Champ (automatic bid)
MW - Boise State
Independent - Notre Dame
That leaves the 12th and final spot. Indiana or SMU (if SMU loses) if they want 3 ACC teams... (weird that it's even in discussion). I don't see a way any other 3 loss SEC team that isn't Georgia makes it in now that the dust has settled.
I went through all of the main ESPN channels’ programming for the upcoming week and couldn’t find a rebroadcast of our game. They had most of the other weekend games scheduled, some several times.
Does anyone know when or if our game will be shown again? And which ESPN (presumably) channel?
What’s is the latest on Etienne and the Robinson’s statuses for the SEC championship game?
It appears our GA and Tech kids were some of the few who exercised maturity and civility, even after a physically- and emotionally-draining game. (Edit: Many) of the other kids playing in rivalry games acted like fools. Good job, boys!
Wonder what is going through these boys minds right now…
This would be worst case scenario for the new playoff format in terms of viewership/hype, but it would be hilarious.
How do we feel about Penn st making it in if they lose to Oregon convincingly and having no good wins on their resume?
GO DAWGS!
... it seems to me that the only teams that get no week off prior to and during the playoffs are those who play for their conference championship and lose, but remainin the 12?
Hey guys, maybe it’s a silly question but I was looking at seccg tickets on seat geek and noticed they have first round home playoff tickets on sale. Does anyone know why? Maybe they give the money back if the game doesn’t happen?
Self explanatory really, going back and forth with my fam while watching the Texas slap fight. TAM is vulnerable away from home but they have our kryptonite (mobile QB). Texas on the other hand would be out for blood based on our October game.
Gimme your wishes and desires for the SECCG.
Let's start the rumor they lost so they wouldn't have to face the dawgs again.
Looking at the scores today we came out looking preeeeety damn good compared to other top teams
