I’m working on a level for fun right now and had this idea for gameplay
"Let's go! Open up; it's time to dash."
All right, time for my mandatory skills check. Let's get this over with.
"You're late. You know the deal: you can do the single small spike jump for the mana orb, or you can attempt the normal single spike jump for the coin."
Here in Geometry Dash Civilization, no one chooses to jump for the coin. It’s better to be safe and do the small one-spike jump for the orb rather than risk your entire life for just one coin
"Tomorrow, you better not be late, or you'll be doing double spike jumps as punishment."
"Yes, sir. Sorry! I won't be late next time."
Down here, we Geometry Dash noobs only get rewarded once a day. One piece of mana orb is just enough to get you to the next day, but that's life in Geometry Dash Civilization. If you want to survive, you have to dash. Every Geometry Dash noob has the same goal: to make it to the top layer, where all the GD pros live. Except most GD pros are born on the top layer. If you're a GD noob, there's only one way up, and that’s through the Temple of Geometry Dash.
The Temple of Geometry Dash is the only structure in the world that connects the bottom layer to the top layer. To make it up, you have to do an impossibly hard geometry dash course that no GD noob has ever completed—and that’s assuming you even get the chance to complete the course. The inside of the temple is protected by multiple invisible blocks, and the only way a GD noob gets past the blocks is if they've earned a key.
I've never even tried getting a key before, but if I'm going to rank up to a Geometry dash pro one day, I'm going to have to.
In my neighborhood, pretty much everyone has touched the spike and died—except for the guy who lives right next to me. He's been my neighbor for five years—No!!! Why did he try going for the coin?!!?? Well, I guess I have to change my statement: I now live in this neighborhood alone.
It's safe to say that if you're at the bottom level of Geometry Dash Civilization, it's not exactly the best. But not everything in Geometry Dash Civilization is that bad. For example, I was able to use spike jumps to buy the biggest house in the neighborhood. In Geometry Dash Civilization, literally everything is spike jumps, and that means spike jumps has replaced money.
"Welcome! Choose which house you want to buy."
It’s pretty nice; in Geometry Dash Civilization, all you have to do to buy anything is just make more spike jumps. I'm not really sure why or how spike jumps works as a currency, but all I know is I basically bought a two-story house for free. Somehow, when I was buying my house, I convinced myself to go for the one-spike yellow orb jump to buy the bigger house. In Geometry Dash Civilization, spike jumps with trickier items like yellow orbs are worth more. That’s why this jump basically bought me a mansion.
"No way! Thank you for buying the big house. Let me take you right to it; just follow me."
"Let's go! This is awesome; I just bought my first house."
All houses in Geometry Dash Civilization are pre-built, and they all have one thing in common: it’s a requirement that every single house has a spike jump inside to get to your bed. This is a way to make sure everyone in Geometry Dash Civilization dashes everywhere they go, even inside the house.
"So, this is the neighborhood you'll be living in. You're the only two-story house here, so if you follow me, I'll give you a house tour."
"This is so sick! That yellow orb jump literally made me the richest one in the neighborhood."
"As you can see, you have a spike jump on the top floor and a spike jump on the bottom floor. Let me show you the upstairs, and then the house is all yours."
"All right, I mean, everything looks good. I just have to do this jump to my bed."
"Uh, yeah, I think I got everything figured out."
"Perfect. Last thing, I just need to check if your spike jump is good."
"How are you supposed to check if it's good?"
"Wait, what??! Did this guy for real just jump to death?!"
"Uh... I’m really confused. Why did he do that?"
"All right, just wanted to confirm that your house is ready to move in. The guy did, in fact, die, so everything should be good."
"That guy seriously died?"
"Yeah, don’t worry about it. It’s part of the job. Enjoy your house."
"How is that part of the job? What?"
No one really remembers how Geometry Dash Civilization started. Most of the GD noobs down here, at least, think that the GD pros were the ones who started it. But the truth is, I think I was the one who started it. For some reason, I can’t remember the best, but I’m pretty sure this is how the story went:
"Yo, Robtop!"
"Yo! Hello?"
"Bro, you think I could get some money real quick? I was broke after I bought the gym membership."
"Uh, sorry, I don’t have any to share."
"Bro, come on, don’t be like that! You are literally so rich. Dude, just give me two dollars, and I’ll pay you back later. I just need it to buy a drink."
"All right, fine. Give me one second. If you want two dollars, you’ve got to give me something, all right? Watch out, back up for one second. Look, if you can make this triple spike jump, I'll pay you two dollars."
"Make this triple spike jump? Wait, why are you going to pay me to do spike jumps? What do you even gain from this?"
"Uh, I don’t know. I’ve just never seen anyone do it before. I’d pay to see it done."
"Okay, I’ll take the offer. Oh, this is so annoying. All right, just give me a second. I know it's possible; I've done it before."
"I told you, bro, it’s not possible."
"And there we go! Look, I told you it was possible."
"No way! That was actually incredible. All right, well, I got my money's worth."
"Let’s go! I got paid for Geometry Dash."
"If you want, I can keep making more jumps for you to do, and I’ll pay you for it."
"Are you kidding, dude? Totally! All right, I’ll be back here tomorrow, I guess."
And this is basically how dashing for money started. The next day, I showed up to Robtop's house. He offered me way more money this time, and he constructed an entire GD level outside of his house to do. But little did we know, this GD course would completely change the way the world works. Soon after this event, the Geometry Dash Civilization began.
Now that I think about it, there’s kind of an unexplainable gap between those events and now, but oh well—GD check time!
"You got 30 seconds."
Another beautiful morning, and I have to dash for some more orbs that will just make me even poorer.
"All right, all right, I’m here. One small spike for orb, one normal spike for coin. What are you choosing today?"
Considering my neighbor just died going for the coin, I’m just going to go with the orb again.
"Keep in mind there’s a key event today. It’s going to be about 200 small spikes west."
This was huge news. If there actually was a key event today, I would need to go for the coin. Luckily, I got the coin.
"No way, you made that jump! You might become a Geometry Dash pro one day."
"Wait, you really think I could rank up to be a GD pro?"
"Not a chance. You’re a GD noob; you guys never rank up."
It’s important to know that GD pros have really big egos, and they like to put down the GD noobs.
This was an important day. This was only the second time I’ve jumped for the coin, and now I have a chance to earn a key. The key events are so risky because they’re located so far away. If I wasn’t paying attention, I could miss one of these small one-spike jumps, and my entire chance of becoming a geometry dash pro would be over. But luckily, I made it to the key event.
When I got there, there were only three GD noobs in line to do the geometry dash course. Most noobs don’t even show up for the courses anymore because if you miss one click, you end up like this guy—and that’s the price you pay if you want a key to be a GD pro. I watched as the second noob died to the spike.
"Hey, man, do you think you could go already?"
"I don’t know, man. I’m kind of nervous I’m going to die."
"No, you don’t need to be nervous. I’m sure you’re fine… oh, sh—shoot! Okay, never mind then."
Before going for it, I wanted to study the GD level. You see, every week, the key challenge changes, and it’s completely random. And this week’s level was extremely difficult. Instead of the normal cube mode, it was the extremely difficult ship mode, and that means I have to transform as a rocket to complete the level. There was also a layer of spikes both on the top and the bottom. I have to do a perfect straight fly to get the key, if I somehow lose the control of my ship, my entire journey of becoming a GD pro will be over.
But here’s the thing about Geometry Dash Civilization: GD can be used for anything, and that includes bribing geometry dash pros.
"Check this out. If I do a backwards single spike jump with a 0, will you move the layer of the spikes at the top a little bit higher?"
"You want to do a one-spike backwards jump with a 0? Fine. There’s no way you’re going to make it, but I’ll accept."
"Let’s go!"
The GD pro accepted my bribe, and now I had another problem—I had to do a backwards 0. Had I even done this before? Whatever, I’m just going to go for it. Please make it… no way, I actually did it!
"All right, deal’s a deal, right?"
"I’m not going to lie, that was the coolest thing I’ve seen a geometry dash noob do. Well, deal’s a deal. Here you go."
"Let’s go!"
Now the course, the level is way easier, all I needed to do now is to fully LOCK IN and FOCUS.
This was my best chance to finally earn a key. If I actually get this key, I could access the Geometry Dash Temple and make my way up to a better life as a GD pro. There was no turning back now; I had to start the course. Most GD noobs aren’t experienced with the ship mode, but somehow, I got control of it, and now I just need to continue flying. This was life or death. I expected to crash and die into these spikes, but to my surprise, I was standing on the end with the key. Thanks to the deal I made with the GD pro, the course was easier. Otherwise, there was no way I could make it out alive.
This was life-changing. This was the first time I’d ever received a key to access the Geometry Dash Temple, and I promised myself that I wasn’t going to waste it. I made my way over to the Geometry Dash Temple. I was in a good spot; this was it. There was no better time, no more perfect time, to try making the geometry dash course to rank up to a geometry dash pro.
This was the moment I’d been waiting for my entire life. This was the geometry dash level that no geometry dash noob had ever beaten—Stereo Madness. If you missed any of these jumps or straight fly, you’d die instantly without pity. But I’d come too far, and I’d practiced too much to let that happen. I wasn’t just going to be another geometry dash noob who failed this level—I was going to be the first one to rank up to become a GD pro.
My journey to becoming a Geometry Dash pro starts, now- (dies)

Please Help. I've experienced audio bugs while playing levels. the audio cuts off, restarts, or is out of sync. I tried using the audio fix option in the settings, and restarted the game and my phone a couple of times but it still won't work.
maybe an already answered question but ... i have an issue. I create on phone, save, load to test on pc but there are some parts that dont fit because of resolution, my monitor is 1360x768 and my phone is 2400x1080 so seems logical to happen, now my question is: Do you create with that in mind? or there is any way to play/create on a general resolution for all devices, sorry this is driving me crazy xD
I changed my name from imacherryyt to imacherery (misspelled by accident) on my phone and I also have the account imacherryyt on my computer but I can’t save from my computer to my phone what can I do please help!!!
Why doesn't Geometry Dash have more trails or custom ones? Like no trail or a zigzag?
So event levels are out and wow

what else is there
don't mind the robtop jumpscare mod (if it shows itself), I installed it (curiousity) and never disabled it.

I woke up this morning to play gd,but when i opened it it had said that my geode had crashed, probably because of 2.207 being launched, please help,i opened gd to see the geode button not appearing, despite it being in the game files. What should i do?
I don't know if these types of jumps already have a name, but I would like to see what you call them or if we could make up a name for them because, I don't think "UFO jumps from opposite gravity portals" is a catchy name for me at least
