Would you like Canada to be annexed by the United States?
We're cooked its exam season
I walked into the 6th floor bathroom of FSS and two-three people were doing the devils dance. I know this because I walk like a mouse and people always tell me they never notice when I enter a room because I’m so quiet so when I entered the bathroom, I guess the people didn’t hear me? I literally heard Ⓜ️0@ning, heavy breathing and a rhythmic shuffling and also multiple feet from underneath the stall.
I miss the person I was this morning.
does anyone have any tips or anything for paul mayers exam?
Does anyone have a notebro account that they can use to help me retrieve an old exam. I've tried making an account but I cant seem to get a verification email. Plz help I am really struggling
Does anybody have david for eco 1102? I have been mad struggling in his class because during lectures it is very hard to pay attention to him. So I started skipping his classes and when midterms were coming up I would spend hours going through the material on the textbook as well as the review questions. But looking through his midterms it was completely different, A LOT of the questions seemed to come from other sources (statistics canada) or other articles. With one of the questions in his second midterm referencing a video. It felt unfair imo because I feel like im being tested on what information im supposed to remember rather the concepts I learn.
It's is probably my fault for skipping but it's so discouraging to be in his lectures with him being unintelligible. It caused one of my friends to drop the class after the 1st midterm.
I came from a more science education background with a lot more math as my strong suit, so having more theory is difficult than practical for me. Honestly I wanna give up but im under pressure with family to do well and get a scholarship as they've already spent so much on me and I know i've let them down.
Hello, me and a few friends were wondering if our teacher is supposed to contact us and inform us of where our exam rooms will be? There’s 3 options on BS and we don’t really know which one we’re in.
Thank you for helping!
Does the policy about deferring an exam for the first time in a course also apply to take-home exams (in the faculty of arts)? Has anyone ever done this?
Do I need to able to debate very proficiently to do well in public policy/sociology degree? I'm fine at essay and analysis writing, just not the best on thinking on the spot. I might get better over time though !
Do I need to know ftench really well for government positions? I got a 91% in Grade 9 for French, and did French Immersion as kid, but my French comprehension is not the best.
Hey I kinda chocked on the ITI1120 midterm and was wondering if those who got a good grade had any particular study strategies or methods. Any advice is appreciated
currently in a 3rd year course. does the participation component of a course count towards fulfilling 85% university attendance policy? I checked the syllabus and this is what it said.
hiii can anyone taking crm3312 with kathryn campbell hmu <3 or if you've taken it previously tbh anything will help
Anybody have any information on the exam? Had to miss the last week so I could study for another class and I thought the prof would post info about the final but I’m kind of lost. Is the content focused on all the PowerPoints after the midterm is or is the whole course? What should I study? Thanks
im in telfer and i failed adm 1305 (failed my deferred final from the summer term yikes) and since its a compulsory course for most second year courses, i got set back for stats 1 which is a pre/co-requisite for financial management and stats 2.
uozone wont even let me enrol in any of these classes so i only have 2 courses in winter from the 5 i could've taken. i've tried to get an appointment with the undergrad office to maybe get a prerequisite waiver but i heard telfer doesnt really do that
realistically, i could take those 3 course in the summer since im retaking adm 1305 next sem but im planning on working full time and the thought of taking 3 summer courses is really daunting given how my last summer class ended.
i know adding an extra sem isnt anything crazy but im scared of how this is going to affect my internship applications /co-op. is it realistic to still graduate on time? (class of 2027)
p.s. i didnt realize how hard it is to get an appointment with a counsellor or an academic specialist. they straight up cancelled my appointment last time i tried
I know it’s a stupid question but are there changerooms at Minto and where are they located? All I’ve seen are bathrooms? As an anxious person I just like to have expectations ahead of time instead of embarrassing myself.
Title! With a doctors note ofc. I have two exams next Sunday and I’m really under the weather so i unfortunately only have the capacity to study for 1 at the moment if I want to do well.
Thing is the course I want to deffer I deferred a midterm for it back in early November. I’m willing to pay the $60 I just want to know if this is possible and I would get a doctors note to validate my symptoms :)
Studying is lowkey not working anymore. I went to the library earlier and I just kept getting distracted imagining myself lying in bed. It's so bad. I was going through easy slides for my CHM final and couldn't absorb anything. I'm usually pretty slow at studying but in the past the pressure of looming tests/midterms has been enough to motivate me. My brain is totally fried.
hello, im not sure if this the right place to ask these types of questions but if anyone is taking biomed id really appreciate it if you could answer this questions:
is it hard to get straight As in this program?
will i have leisure time if i do this program?
also what is the minimum admission average that they are willing to accept? like it says its 80% min admission average, do they really accept people with an 80% average?
also any pros and cons about the program???
A prof for a class did not specify the due date for the final essay but said that it will be due one week before the grades need to be submitted. So if anybody knows, it will be helpful. This course is a faculty of arts course if that matters.
Hello, I just want to know, if I pass a course with maybe a 57% and it's 3 course unit, if I retake that same course my second year, will I now have 6 course unit or just 3 course units. I know the newest grade will be used but what happens to the amount of units?
Hi, I am looking to move out of my traditional residence style dorm in Thompson so I need someone to take over the lease. It is a single room (no roommate) Anyone interested?
In my computer science/math degree, I’m required to take 6 optional courses in the CSI department and 6 optional courses in the MATH department, all of which must be at the 2000, 3000, or 4000 level. However, there are so many 5000-level courses that interest me, and I would love to take them.
That said, I’m hesitant to enroll in these courses unless they count as optional courses toward my degree. To me, it seems logical that they should count since they are more advanced than 4000-level courses, but I’m not sure.
Has anyone here already taken 5000-level courses in this situation or asked about it? Do they count as optional courses?
I'm trying to switch from an english physics course to it's french equivalence. Do i have to do anything special, or can I just switch it on uozone? Also, I heard that in french immersion stream you can submit assignments in english, is it the same for just one french class?
Thanks
I am between life and death right now
I messed up bad, I failed 2 midterms for 1 class and 1 midterm for another course. Now finals are coming and im worried about what will happen if I cannot get a good grade to make it up
Its my first year, I did not take 6 courses, I took 4 instead. I also plan on taking only 4 next semester, althought I am need 2-3 more courses for that year.
Will I get kicked out if i dont meet the number of credits requirements for the first year?
Will I get kicked out if I dont get a certain grade? Like immediately or how does it work
EDIT: IF I FAIL A COURSE LIKE CALC 1, DO I HAVE TO RETAKE IT BEFORE CALC 2? AM I ABLE TO RETAKE IT DURING WINTER OR NEXT YEAR FALL?
Hi everyone!
I recently transferred from Biology to Telfer in Business tech management. So far, I find the course load much lighter than in bio and I was wondering if anyone ever took 6 ADM classes a semester. I would only have 4 classes left after the 2026 graduation and I am thinking if I should add an extra class for the next 4 semesters to graduate in June 2026. Has anyone ever done it? Would you recommend it? Are we even allowed to take more than 5 classes in Telfer?
Thank you!
Hey,
We’re a pair of two girls (2nd and 3rd years) looking for two more female students to join us for a lease starting September 2025.
Location is a 15-20 min walk from campus, close to essentials like a grocery store and we are friends with people who have leased there for years and landlord seems very reliable.
Pricing will be ~950-1000$/room with all utilities included (water, gas, internet..), comes with all appliances (washer/dryer, stove, microwave, fridge…) and a furnished living room.
Please DM me if you’re interested, I can provide more information then!
I messed up and purchased these tickets thinking the game was in Toronto. They are transferable through Ticketmaster. Sec 18, Row A, Seat 15 and 16. (right against the glass at the blue line) I just want to get rid of them ASAP. They were cheap and I am not looking to profit I am also a broke student.
