I’d call the neck a “Full C”. It’s thicker/fuller than your average off-the-line Fender, but not a baseball bat. The builders say it’s roughly .85 at the 1st and .96 at the 12th for most builds.

Fender 60th Diamond Anniversary Commemorative American Jazz Bass. This special commemorative model was made in 2006, which was the 60th anniversary of Fender's founding in 1946. Classic alder body and maple neck/rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. It is equipped with vintage-style pickups. The volume knob is equipped with an S1 switch. The bridge can be back-threaded or top-loaded, and the tension can be adjusted for each string. Back ferrule missing on the back string thru. A few chips in the body here and there. Frets are good, All in all, a cool J Bass, with from Fenders Diamond Anniversary. Made in USA, comes with battered, but cool silver Fender G and G hardcase.

This breaks my heart, but such is life.

You probably know what this is, but what amazes me most about it is how it'll do everything. Like, post-modern ultra-clang. Doom-y fuzz. Some twang, some crunch and just about everything in between. With the two switches, the gain knob and your guitar's volume, it's almost too much. 

Anyway, this one's in great condition. Intact back label with serial number. Instruction papers. That obnoxious JHS red filler stuff they use. The only thing is that the previous owner slapped a shipping label on the product box (ugh!). If you're handy with goo gone, you could probably take it off (or you could probably email JHS and get a new label sticker. It's generic, and is the one they still use, I believe).

Gibson SG Special Faded in Worn Ebony, w/ Seymour Duncan Phat Cats

I played this guitar a ton, and it’s got some dings to prove it. I have loved it for years, but ultimately I prefer Fenders, and so it should go to a good home.

First, the bad: Like I said, it’s a player’s guitar. I’ve tried to capture everything you’d want to know if you were seeing it in person here on Imgur. There was an … incident in which I drilled a very small hole through the back of the body when installing new pickups … This has been there for several years without issue (no cracking, expansion, etc.). It’s been filled in and gotten a dab of paint and it’s good to go.

Now the good stuff: Pickups were replaced (not by me this time) with Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P-90s. These rip like P-90s should. It’s super light at approximately 6.6 lbs, it's pretty well-balanced for an SG, and it comes with a Gibson soft case (that’s got a tear but nothing structurally wrong with it).

I’m asking $1000 shipped. I’ll entertain partial trades, or if you want this and some pedals, we’ll work something out … I can get it out within 24 hours of payment most days and it will be shipped carefully and with love.
