A community with the collective conscious of being a homosexual steward of the land: whether it be by farming, homesteading, living off the land, ranching, or the various other titles of country folk.
From sea to shining sea, there are pockets of farm country tucked here and there. Most homosexual children raised on a farm, ranch, homestead head to cities upon coming of age. This is a subreddit for those of us who embrace our ties to the earth. Please feel free to post what you'd like within scope of the above description.

Starting a cidery and large orchard. Anyone else out there growing?
I'm so thankful to find this space for conversations and look forward to many great conversations ahead. I am looking for LGBTQ+ people who want to contribute to an advocacy campaign launched in June 2022. Pride In Agriculture is a campaign addressing conversations surrounding DEI in agriculture and rural communities. In its first month, the campaign reached over 1 million people and began a wave of positive conversations throughout our community.
I am seeking more stories to highlight as the campaign relaunches this Spring as its own brand with unprecedented support from the agriculture community. The new home for Pride in Agriculture will serve as a resource hub with profiles from across diverse communities in agriculture. It will include numerous resources for having these tough conversations to impact positive change.
Please complete this quick form if you'd like to be considered for a story contribution. I am seeking stories across the LGBTQ+ community. I have primarily featured white cis men and need to include many other perspectives from our community - and I would greatly appreciate your help in making those contacts.
Feel free to send a message if you have any questions!
