Anyone who may be in the northeast this weekend attending Captain Con, we have a Gaslands event running on Sunday. Currently only 2 people registered, if you're interested, head over to the Captain Con events page to get your ticket!
In the aftermath of the Martian-terran wars, Earth has been left a burnt out shell of its once former glory. With few Mega cities left across a sprawling wasteland, existence is bleak for the dwindling population. However, there is always hope citizen! The Next Annual Gaslands Deathrace Rally, Brought to you by Mega-Corp, is your opportunity to prove your skills on the speedway and earn the top prize of a all-expenses paid trip to the Martian colonies!
Escape the smog and polluted waters of the terran expanse and claim glory on the track to earn your place amongst the red sands of Mars!
Do you have what it takes to outdrive, outshoot, and outshine the competetion? Prove it and get your ass to Mars!
Gaslands is a tabletop racing and car carnage game that uses Hot-wheels and Matchbox scaled cars to ram, skid, and race their way through the wreckage of a burnt-out Earth. Players can paint and convert their cars to their heart's desire. The racers of the day will vote on their favorite car to win a special "Best appearance" prize.
3 Races will run concurrently, each with up to 6 racers, in Deathrace style events across 3 rounds, with the top winners on each table advancing to the next round to compete for the prize. But fret not citizen, as those who fail to place in the first round will still have a chance for redemption to race in the finals!
The game is beginner friendly, and is easy to learn, but hard to master and some experience is recommended.
Game Rules System : Gaslands Refuelled Game Type : Death Race Game Size : Each player will bring a single car worth up to 30 cans. All sponsors and options available in the main rulebook are allowed. No flying vehicles allowed. Event Length: 3 rounds, each 2.5 hours in Length. There will be a 45 minute lunch break after round 1 and a 15 minute break between round 2 and 3. Lastly the awards at the end should go for about 5-10 minutes.
Players need to bring their own car, and it is recommended that they bring their own templates, dice, and rulebook. The Event coordinators will have Rules Cheat-sheets, extra Skid dice, and paper templates for anyone that can't bring their own.
Any questions about the rules, events, or requirements to play can be forwards to the Event Coordinator email at Warcrier@hotmail.com
Prizes will be offered for the Tournament winner and for the Best Looking Car, with more prizes potentially available based on player turnout.
We look forward to seeing you on the Post-Apocalyptic Race Tracks at Captain Con 2025!
Still need to add some details and finishing touches. Getting close to finish the outside and shift focus to the inside and it's contents.
I have not fullt read the rules yet but saw so much fun stuff here that i wanted to create something myself.
