It's been almost 2 decades since I saw this as a kid but I remember it pretty vividly. I was running outside a castle, dashing past guards when I clipped through a wall and ended up in what seemed to be an basement, an endless array of endless enemies. I died near instantly as I was confused and unprepared. I had beaten the game a multitude of times by then, and could never replicate it. This was all on a purple see through GBC on a US cartridge.
Anyone have an idea what this was? I haven't found any info on it but have seen similar rooms in other games for dev testing or whatnot, entered in similar ways.
Helldivers 2 has a lot of good and funny ragdolls, but recently they made the jump packs stronger, while also making it so if you don’t have a clear landing spot or hit a wall you’ll faceplant. This diver got a nice flip, and the way they recover so seamlessly is pretty impressive.
This is a test of acceleration, surface friction interaction and wheel suspension, with of course gameplay. We intend to mimic real RC cars so there was a lot of thought going in these areas. Crash and multiplayer interaction video will drop in weeks ahead.
