Just wondering where to start on both of these projects. Looking for something to do when I'm not working my normal job. I currently have a few gaming laptops (Acer Predator Helios 300 with RTX 2060) and an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 with an RTX 3060). So I guess I'm looking for external monitor/s, Keyboard/Mouse, Webcam, Microphone, and I capture card. Anything else I'm missing or anyone else recently started to get into these activities that could lend a newbie a hand?

Here, the notch at the top is getting in the way of the video. You don't get the full image because the notch is taking up part of what would be displayed by the video at the top.

With these kinds of phones, is there any way to prevent this problem, so that there's a perfectly rectangle-shaped image without a notch getting in the way of the video?

I'm currently trying to (quickly) find an affordable laptop that I can also use to game. I know next to nothing about the specs on these, but I will be using for college classes and gaming (specifically looking at Planet Coaster, This Land is Your Land, MS Flight Simulator via Stream).
