Supporting farmers directly

There are WhatsApp groups where you can purchase farm goods directly from the producer.

This works out much cheaper than purchasing from the main shops I.e. PnP or Woolworths or the like.

Friend of mine and I compiled a small list of generic meat prices per gram. This should help you when choosing what to buy, especially during tight months.

R0.13 per gram of tuna

R0.09 per gram of fish fingers

R0.09 per gram of mince

R0.07 per gram of boerewors

R0.07 per gram of pork chop

R0.05 per gram of pork

R0.05 per gram of pilchards

R0.04 per gram of chicken

Using the BA Credit card for Avios?

Anyone use the BA Credit card to earn Avios? Is it worth it, how much have you accumulated and/used it for? Also, with Barclays pulling out of Absa, is the card still going strong? Basically I want to use it to get points to travel. Any advice welcome.

Is it worth getting an FNB Credit Card just for eBucks?

The amount of eBucks I'm getting is pitiful. I swipe everything, but it appears the most points are awarded for a credit card. It's seems as though eBucks is just a ploy to get people to get a credit card.

How can I get a worthwhile amount of eBucks? If a credit is needed for earming eBucks, would it be worth it seeing as I don't need a credit card?
