I'm told by like every builder (obviously) + actually some 3rd party inspectors (surprise) that the residential city inspectors in Collin County actually do a good job and have high standards. Any truth to that? and yes I plan to get an independent inspector either way

Hi Everyone, I’ve recently relocated to the DFW area (Frisco) from South Florida, I’m 37, former internationally touring musician. I’m a singer/songwriter with skill in multiple instruments but have the most strength in guitar. Being the “new-kid in town” I’m eager to scope the music scene in this area with hopes of making the appropriate connections to form a fun, casual band to play out occasionally without creating pressure on anyone or imposing on work/family life. Mostly covers I’d imagine with perhaps a few originals mixed in. Hello, I am given the choice between BSW and Medical city frisco from my obgyn and I would like to know if anyone has experience at Medical City Frisco. The obgyn told me to come with nothing except toiletries for me and a car seat, blanket, and going home outfit for the baby. Is that really all I need to bring? I see some people bringing diapers and pacifiers, etc.

Additionally, Medical city frisco doesn’t have a nursery… is that normal?

I see lots of solar panels in Frisco, but I've not seen solar roofs. I'm sure they are pricy, but just curious if anyone has looked into the shingles and received quotes or install.

Just got back to Frisco from another state where I lived for about a year. I don't know if it's because I still haven't adjusted to being back or what, but I noticed a massive influx of cars on the street, people out and about, it's pretty shocking to say the least. Even just a few years ago you could drive up and down Preston with relative ease, but the traffic now is crazy. Anyone else notice this?
