Think of this place as fan-art of your favorite albums. Have you ever looked at an album cover and wished it look different? Well, your incredibly specific search is over. This is the nichest of niches.
Album art submitted here must be different from the album's original cover.
Before you read the sidebar, read the Wiki.
This subreddit is for alternative album art of any genre. The art must be different from the album's original.

Format your link posts EXACTLY like this:
Artist - Album
Example:
Gorillaz - Demon Days
DO NOT PUT [OC], (OC), OC, OR ANY VARIATION OF THAT IN THE TITLE. SET THE OC FLAIR AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR POST.
Most album art is square, unless you're making art for cassette tapes. Try to keep the image dimensions reasonable.
OC is welcome and encouraged! Mark artwork that you've created by selecting the "OC" flair upon submitting your post.
If you submit work that is not your own original content, link to the source in the comments.
If your post is NSFW, click the NSFW button beneath the title of your post after submitting it.
We only accept images if they are direct links, and there are limits as to which image hosts you can use. Look at the Wiki for more info.
If you want to request art for a certain album, make a text post with [Request] at the beginning of the post title.
Constructive criticism is welcome. Insulting the artists is not. This is a chill space.

Day 4/4 - Peach Pit Reimagined: A Designers Take On Album Art Hi! This is my last post for this series of four pieces! I redesigned all of Peach Pits album covers in celebration of their new album dropping! The most exciting part about this is a dropped a new YouTube video about it explaining all the designs which you can check out in my bio :) This whole piece was entirely conceptual, as they had not dropped Magpie when designing this. The concept was to take an imagine of a magpie, simplify it and break it into four parts. The idea is four parts making one cohesive piece as the four band members coming together to make their record! I made it vintage looking and made the imagery blue to reference the blue hue a magpie can have on its feathers! I hope you love it, and I hope you enjoyed me posting this project!

I had inspiration everywhere for this piece, the windows in the background of the “Vickie” music video is where I started, with the vertical rectangle referencing that. The title inspiring the imagery and the layout was inspired by @permanentglue who is absolutely incredible! I really loved how this turned out, and I hope you go check out the further explanation on YouTube! Album Art Reimagined: A Designer’s Take On Peach Pit https://youtu.be/2PX5hmS31d8
